Not enough words to describe how excellent Banana Moon Westhill is. My daughter loves going there. I can see that she’s never bored and always busy playing and learning at the same time. Everyone of the staff is so amazing, caring and knowledgeable. They let you know about everything in detail and discuss various topics regarding my child’s development. The app is the best to keep track of daily routines (sleep, food, nappies etc.) and major developments. Overall, the whole team and their approach to early education is above my expectations.

Our children have attended this nursery for the last year and a half and they love attending it twice weekly. We have found that they really make an effort to tailor our children's learning activities to their own personal interests which is a method that we've found to be really successful. During April my wife and I were called away for work and found the nursery to be very effective in finding different activities for the kids to do all week to keep them engaged and learning. We would highly recommend this nursery.

The team at Banana Moon in Westhill are always a pleasure. Nothing is too much trouble and they keep me fully informed at all times. My daughter is excited to arrive and play with her friends every week and she has a great relationship with the team there. Even the practitioners that aren't based in her room know her well. Very family oriented and friendly atmosphere and cannot rate them enough.

I do not have a bad word to say about this nursery, my child loves going on a daily basis and tells me all the fun things they do throughout the day. I feel she is getting on well and getting balanced warm meals every day. Our daughter has been attending Banana Moon since September 2022, she settled in quickly and the staff showed an awareness of her personality from the very early days, identifying characteristics my husband and I had noticed at home, this as a parent was invaluable and reassuring. The nursery has provided a stimulating setting for my daughter where I can see she is respected and nurtured, now on the days she attends nursery she goes in with confidence and familiarity. Banana Moon is very good at listening to the parents and has been very good at keeping us informed when our daughter hasn't been herself whilst in their care. It is a joy to watch the relationship that our daughter has with the caregivers in Banana Moon, many go above and beyond to provide an educational and safe setting.

My daughter has been going to Banana Moon since January 2022, and being a pandemic baby, it was the first time she had attended anywhere on her own and away from me. The staff were very welcoming and immediately reassuring to my daughter, as a result, she settled in really quickly and now loves going to the nursery to see her friends and teachers. We love the bright, modern layout of the nursery, as we know it is an open, safe environment for an active toddler. The staff are great at creating fun activities during the day, and we love seeing what she gets up to during the day on the app and also finding out what she's eaten during the day! We are very happy with everything and glad we choose Banana Moon.

Banana Moon is a great nursery. My daughter loves attending and loves all the staff. All the staff are great and so helpful. My daughter is always happy to attend and smiles at all the staff.
My daughter has attended this nursery since she was a baby.
Our child started in November and they have thrived since. They seem to be constantly picking up new skills and are happy every time we pick them up (sometimes to the point they don't want to come home). We have found the menu (and copying the other kids eat), has helped them to use cutlery and willing to try different food and eat a wider range of food at home. Our child always seems to be content, which shows how safe they are there. Can't imagine using another nursery.

Will opened his first Banana Moon at Dyce with a passion to create outstanding quality nurseries serving as a community resource and support network for people in and around Aberdeen and the shire. Will and his family are dedicated to raising the bar in early years provision and strive to support the staff teams, families and most importantly - the children. Will and his wife Cindy are very supportive in helping the nursery meet the ideal of raising the attainment level and making Scotland the best place to raise children.
I have been working in the Early years since I left school. It is a vocation that I am very passionate about and dedicated to. I opened the Banana Moon at Dyce 5 years ago alongside Will. We have strived to reduce stress, and support and nurture the families and children that attend us. As we have added the Westhill and Bridge of Don sites, I took on the role of Area Manager and spend a great deal of love and passion helping support and guide their teams.
I am supportive and proactive at sourcing and engaging the teams with training to upskill our staff team which benefits the children by having the highest quality of staff available to them. All our staff teams are continuously developing their professional development, working towards qualification and enhancing policies and practices in their settings. I myself am working on my PDA award with just a few months left to complete.It is a pleasure and honour to work with the children and families and to watch the progression and development of each and every child
