Holly Lodge Nursery

Amazing staff everyone professional, so happy for my daughter attending and very lucky. The manager and her keyworker are especially thoughtful, and my daughter loves it so much. It's a small gem hidden away.

Our daughter started at Holly Lodge when she was eight months old. From the beginning it's been a very welcoming environment for her, we love the relatively small size and the warmth and dedication of all the staff. We gradually built up to longer days and the nursery has offered flexibility on days/hours. She has thrived and now looks forward to going to nursery most days. Highly recommended.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The children are happy and engaged. The staff show high level of care and attentiveness to the children. The facilities are pleasant and stimulating for the kids. The ratio of carers to children seems good. The management seem to be very flexible and accommodating when extra hours or extra day sare needed at short notice. Our youngest son enjoys his time there each week and we are very happy with the service provided.

Really pleased we found this nursery. The staff are not only knowledgeable but lovely kind people who always seem happy to help. Our son loves it there and has thrived in their care. The only downside is that they are only open term time but they happily accommodated my son in their other setting so wasn't a huge problem for me. (but could be depending on your location/child.)

A great nursery. I would highly recommend it. All the staff are informative when I collect my son. My son has a fantastic bond with his key worker who has been absolutely brilliant. Management have offered flexibility with days and hours should my needs change. The staff are always very helpful and caring. Progressing from the baby room to the toddler room has gone very well. It’s been seven months since my son started at this nursery and I can say I’m very pleased with our choice. My son’s now 21 months old and he’s starting to speak and assert his views. He loves going to nursery.

Our daughter has loved coming to Holly Lodge. She has really benefitted from the care, attention and kindness that the staff have shown her and often speaks of her friends at nursery.

This nursery is a hidden gem! It is literally hidden away in a very quiet location but it has been a great find for us. My twins have been very happy there from day one. They settled in really well and the staff are wonderful and caring. The activities are great and tailored to each child's unique needs. Many parents know each other so it feels like an extended family. I'm very satisfied with this nursery and feel that my kids are in great hands.

This nursery is a hidden gem. I've heard about it through word of mouth and I highly recommend it. My twins loved it from the very first days. They flourished there. They were very well taken care of, on a personal level whether happy or sad. They keep a high standard in their educational activities that cover all the learning areas while still caring for every child individually providing fantastic pastoral care. I think that's what makes this place so special. They were very accomodating with the timetable always trying to help the parents. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough!

I have a 3 year old that has been at the nursery for just over 2 years and she is very happy and content here. I have always appreciated the flexibility of Holly Lodge Nursery which allows you to tailor your childcare needs. The two different outdoor spaces allow for variety when the weather is good and excellent use is made of this. There have been some lovely additions to the setting including guinea pigs and a vegetable patch which adds interest for the children. The nursery ensures that topical and cultural events are included in the schedule which provides a lovely opportunity for children to develop their social awareness. The staff are friendly and approachable and seem to know the children very well which allows them to set activities that ensure the continued support of the children.

Holly Lodge is a fantastic nursery. Very caring staff, clean, kids all happy, always stimulated, age-appropriate activities. My child has made amazing mental and social developments. This nursery is very nurturing. Couldn't be happier with Holly Lodge.

Food is also excellent and very varied.

I spent a lot of time looking for a suitable nursery for my daughter and when I finally found Holly Lodge I was so happy. Since my daughter has started going there I can see positive changes in her development and in general she is happy. The staff are friendly and caring. I can leave my child with them with peace of mind.

Our family really likes this nursery and we have recommended it to our friends. Our kids enjoy going there. The staff is very kind and attentive to kids and parents. The nursery provides parents meetings that are very helpful by sharing their experience with parents. The Tapestry is an excellent idea in which we can follow our child's (son) achievements. Amazing nursery. My daughter is extremely clingy and I thought she would never settle at nursery as she won't usually stay with anybody. She absolutely loves Holly Lodge nursery and I am amazed at her progress since starting. The staff are warm, patient and kind and it feels like I am leaving my daughter with extended family. The nursery offers a huge variety of toys and activities, which change daily. Thanks to everyone, I'm so happy to have found Holly Lodge nursery.

For the first 3 months, our son has progressed significantly. All my friends noticed his wonderful development. The nursery features excellent staff and management, kind attitude to children, friendship, atmosphere and the most flexible schedule. After the nursery, my son has never been hungry or upset. He is always changed on time and looks tidy, however, during the day he does lots of different activities including water and sand. This is not a crowded place, there is no traffic or any annoying sounds and hidden in a beautiful village - I like it very much. If I were a baby, I would want to go to this nursery. I have already recommended this nursery to my friends.

One thing they could improve is their use of technology - I think that it would help them with their use of Tapestry to have more accessible tools for the staff to use.
