Bright Horizons Shoreham-by-Sea Day Nursery and Preschool

My child loves going to this nursery, he gets very excited as we arrive. The staff are wonderful, build great connections with children and are highly engaging. You get a full run down of their day when your child is handed over which I love. Food is also amazing, home cooked meals and snacks provided, which my son loves and often has seconds! I highly recommend this nursery.

When our daughter joined at 2.5 years old after we relocated to Shoreham, we were anxious about moving her from a nursery she'd loved since she was a baby. The team immediately put us at ease with a thoughtful settling-in session, taking time to understand her likes, dislikes, and needs. She settled in far quicker than we expected, and the staff not only comforted her but also supported us as parents. The activities are fun, engaging, and educational, and she comes home every day excited to share something new she has learned. It's clear the team are passionate about their work and genuinely love seeing the children thrive. We're so impressed with the care, enthusiasm, and dedication shown, and we will definitely be enrolling our next child too!

Both my little boy and myself love this nursery. Staff are super lovely and approachable! Staff are always happy to answer questions, and are a genuine joy to talk to. The feedback on pick up is always detailed. Food is always good!!

Management has to deal with high staff turnover meaning that children and parents will often see new faces.

The staff have all been incredibly welcoming and also taken time to get to know my son who comes along before school. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent seeking exceptional childcare.

Couldn’t be happier to have chosen this nursery for my daughter! The staff are so lovely and friendly and my daughter is obviously extremely happy and well looked after here. She settled in so quickly thanks to the amazing settling-in structure. The app is great and is updated regularly throughout the day which I love to keep up with! The nursery is always extremely clean and they feed the children well with fresh cooked food. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting and enjoys herself every day! We’ve moved further away and wouldn’t even dream of changing nurseries. My mum who has put 3 children through nursery always even comments on how great this nursery is to me after she’s picked my daughter up and they include such thoughtful details to make cards and presents for family members without you having to ask. Very grateful to all the staff who look after my baby so well!

My daughter has attended Bright Horizons for just over 2.5 years. She has always been happy ensuring they have a safe, fun environment. The premises are kept to a high standard and they have the luxury of a fabulous outdoor play area. The food is cooked on-site to a high standard (it would be better if they had rotated the menu like they used to). Overall, I am very satisfied with the care that is provided and feel very positive for my son joining next month.

We’ve taken 2 children through this nursery and have been very happy with the overall care and attention paid to both of our children. The staff have been extremely attentive to the kids needs and have nurtured expected milestones very well while keeping us informed along the way. The staff are second to none.

My son is very happy at nursery and enjoys his time at Bright Horizons. The deputy manager and one other staff member, in particular, are great and always keep us informed with how he is getting on. My son talks about the friends he makes and the activities he takes part in. His favourite part of nursery is the garden.

We have had a really positive experience with our daughter changing nurseries and starting here. She loves going to nursery and her days are always full of fun. The staff are all really lovely and give daily updates.

Our daughter loves it so much, and can’t wait to go back. They learn something new every day. Her speech improved a lot since going to nursery. Nice variety of meals, even though she is a fussy eater there is always something for her to eat with every meal.

We are so thrilled with our experience of the Shoreham by Sea, Bright Horizons. The staff are so kind, caring and attentive to our baby's needs. The communication on drop off and pick up is so helpful and being able to see what she has been up to on the app is ideal. The manager is wonderful and personable and we feel reassured sending our baby in.

Lovely nursery. Staff are really great with the kids. My child has a great time every day. The outdoor space is amazing so being able to run around all day is ideal for my now pre-schooler. Good balance between lovely activities for the kids and just letting them play with their friends.

This is such a lovely nursery. Really personal and dedicated care for the kids. My child has major food intolerance issues and needs a highly specialised diet, which I worried would be difficult when sending him to nursery. But the whole team have been so helpful and supportive, cooking him his own individual meals. Can't thank them enough.

This nursery is exceptional, I'm so happy I chose Happysaurus for my daughter, having attended from 10 months old she's learned so much and always looks happy at pick up, babbling about her day. The cameras that can give me a peek into her day are a lovely idea - although I trust her keyworker entirely. It's always so lovely to see her having fun and playing with friends.
