My child loves going to this nursery, he gets very excited as we arrive. The staff are wonderful, build great connections with children and are highly engaging. You get a full run down of their day when your child is handed over which I love. Food is also amazing, home cooked meals and snacks provided,
which my son loves and often has seconds! I highly recommend this nursery.

When our daughter joined at 2.5 years old after we relocated to Shoreham, we were anxious about moving her from a nursery she'd loved since she was a baby. The team immediately put us at ease with a thoughtful settling-in session, taking time to understand her likes, dislikes, and needs. She settled
in far quicker than we expected, and the staff not only comforted her but also supported us as parents. The activities are fun, engaging, and educational, and she comes home every day excited to share something new she has learned. It's clear the team are passionate about their work and genuinely love seeing the children thrive. We're so impressed with the care, enthusiasm, and dedication shown, and we will definitely be enrolling our next child too!

Both my little boy and myself love this nursery. Staff are super lovely and approachable! Staff are always happy to answer questions, and are a genuine joy to talk to. The feedback on pick up is always detailed. Food is always good!!

I've used Bright Horizons for 5 years, my experiences of the nursery has always been good, from the permanent staff working there.
The staffs energy, the environment and teaching methods are great. The manager's work integrating with the local care home has been amazing and drives a great sense of
community. Facilities are spacious and clean.
Food is good, alternate offerings can be poor ('boring') with dietary requirements.
The issue I have with it is that it has always been heavily profit driven by the previous owners and now Bright Horizons. Although they are making a huge return on the nursery, they without fail continue to put their prices up over and beyond a reasonable amount. The high turnover of staff suggest that the fees are going straight into the owners pockets and not the staff's which is the reason the parents go here.
Management has to deal with high staff turnover meaning that children and parents will often see new faces.

I cannot speak highly enough of Bright Horizons. The staff have created an incredibly nurturing and stimulating environment where my daughter has thrived. Each team member clearly adores their role which shows in the exceptional care they provide and the genuine connections they have formed with my
daughter and all children.
The nursery is spotless and inviting, with a fantastic garden for outdoor play. The food menu is varied and freshly cooked on-site. There is an impressive range of activities, and detailed progress reports offer invaluable insights into my daughter's development with suggestions on how to continue outside of nursery. Communication on the app is hassle-free, and pictures are regularly uploaded so I am always kept in the loop.
The staff have all been incredibly welcoming and also taken time to get to know my son who comes along before school. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent seeking exceptional childcare.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Bright Horizons Nursery! They have been amazing the whole time my daughter has been there and settled in so well. The app they have is a great feature as you can keep in touch if need to and they send you lovely updates throughout the day and they have

Having browsed and visited several nurseries, we decided to go with this Bright Horizon Shoreham-by-Sea Day Nursery and Preschool and has been a great choice for us. Our kid is learning new things every day and the staff have been amazing from day one. Great outdoor space and a chef on site.

Couldn’t be happier to have chosen this nursery for my daughter! The staff are so lovely and friendly and my daughter is obviously extremely happy and well looked after here. She settled in so quickly thanks to the amazing settling-in structure. The app is great and is updated regularly throughout the
day which I love to keep up with! The nursery is always extremely clean and they feed the children well with fresh cooked food. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting and enjoys herself every day! We’ve moved further away and wouldn’t even dream of changing nurseries. My mum who has put 3 children through nursery always even comments on how great this nursery is to me after she’s picked my daughter up and they include such thoughtful details to make cards and presents for family members without you having to ask. Very grateful to all the staff who look after my baby so well!

My daughter has attended Bright Horizons for just over 2.5 years. She has always been happy ensuring they have a safe, fun environment. The premises are kept to a high standard and they have the luxury of a fabulous outdoor play area. The food is cooked on-site to a high standard (it would be better
if they had rotated the menu like they used to). Overall, I am very satisfied with the care that is provided and feel very positive for my son joining next month.

We are so thrilled with our experience of the Shoreham by Sea, Bright Horizons. The staff are so kind, caring and attentive to our baby's needs. This is such a lovely nursery. Really personal and dedicated care for the kids. My child has major food intolerance issues and needs a highly specialised diet, which I worried would be difficult when sending him to nursery. But the whole team have been so helpful and supportive, cooking him his own

This nursery is exceptional, I'm so happy I chose Happysaurus for my daughter, having attended from 10 months old she's learned so much and always looks happy at pick up, babbling about her day. The cameras that can give me a peek into her day are a lovely idea - although I trust her keyworker entirely.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

With over 13 years of dedicated experience in early years education, Nikki has risen through the ranks from an apprentice to a manager. She is deeply passionate about early childhood development and takes great joy in witnessing children learn and progress through the various stages of their lives. Her comprehensive understanding of how children's brains develop has been further enriched by raising her own daughter, who also attends the setting with her.


Throughout her journey, Nikki has held positions as a team leader, assistant manager and now a manager. Her hands-on experience and commitment to fostering a nurturing environment have been instrumental in creating positive and enriching experiences for children. She believes in supporting parents by providing them with the reassurance that their babies are in capable and caring hands. Her goal is to ensure that every child's experience is not only safe but also filled with opportunities for growth and learning.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2012

Rachel began her career in the childcare sector in May 2012. In the early stages of her career, she completed her Level 3 apprenticeship qualification. This role allowed her to develop her understanding and knowledge of children and young people, focusing on how they learn and develop, and what childcare practitioners can do to provide an enabling environment. The goal is to stretch and challenge the children in her care to reach their full potential while ensuring their safety and meeting their care needs.


She is a strong believer in helping children and her team develop a growth mindset, encouraging each child to think independently and critically while building the resilience to persevere in all they do. A wide range of early years theories are used to support children's learning through play. Alongside this, she helps children develop school readiness by fostering independence within the setting so that by the time they leave, they are prepared for their new journey in school.
