Goldhanger Community Nursery

Fantastic nurturing environment for my daughters with excellent and caring staff who provide interactive and interesting activities, nutritious and varied food and who have really gone above and beyond many times in keeping me updated with spontaneous observations. Great use of Tapestry for updates on the girls' days and very helpful and understanding of additional needs and support. Safeguarding is a very high priority for me and they have done everything in their power to ensure the girls' safety. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Our son loves coming to nursery here! He's been coming for nearly 2 years and it is always very reassuring to know that he is in a clean, safe and fun environment. All the staff are so kind and professional and we've always felt so welcomed by them and their attitude towards caring for the children there. We also get daily updates with photos as to what he's been doing and also progress reports on how his development has been coming along. We are so grateful we have found Goldhanger Community Nursery - it's a real gem!

My daughter has been attending nursery since she was 10 months old. She’s now just shy of three. She loves nursery so much and asks to go every day. The staff are exceptional and very professional. They organise so many different activities for the children to do and aid in their development while having lots of fun. I enjoy reading about my daughter's day at nursery and seeing photos of what’s she’s been up to while I’ve been at work. I highly recommend this nursery.

The staff there are always very accommodating, kind and understanding. We always rest assured our daughter will have the best time after we drop her off in the morning.

My daughter has been going to Goldhanger Community Nursery for over a year. She loves her days at nursery. The manager provides a warm, welcoming environment where little ones can enjoy their day. My second daughter will be attending shortly.

This is by far the best nursery/preschool in this area. I have nothing but lovely words to say about the staff here. My daughter has been attending for 2 years and she has become the most bright, funny, caring little lady and I have to thank the staff here at Goldhanger Community Nursery for helping me achieve that. Their daily routine, activities and fun play is everything a child needs for their early years education. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I’m also enrolling my youngest to start here soon as I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for my children. 5 stars!

Goldhanger Nursery are wonderful. Both my children love it there (in the Baby Room and Toddler Room). All the staff are highly competent and brilliant with the children. I wouldn’t want my children to go anywhere else for our childcare. We receive daily updates of our children’s progress via an online service called ‘Tapestry’. The nursery use this tool to give an in-depth account of the day, including photos and videos, activities completed, progress made, meals eaten and hours slept. I have always been so impressed by the sheer amount of information that is given via Tapestry; a tremendous amount of effect from the staff at Goldhanger. The setting of the nursery is beautiful; situated next to the village church, also the nursery’s outdoor learning space neighbours a field of alpacas which my children love to go and say hello to. My children’s educational needs are met completely. They have access to a variety of learning opportunities, preparing them entirely for primary school.

My daughter has attended this nursery for over a year now and she absolutely loves it! She’s always excited about her nursery days and looks forward to seeing all her friends and staff! She enjoys the meals that are freshly cooked and varied every week! The staff are easily approachable and very friendly. We love to see how my daughters say as been and what she has got up to on the daily tapestry reports! The nursery has fantastic facilities, a wide range of toys and activities for the children to enjoy and develop. We especially love the little tasks and activities our daughter is given to help improve her development. Honestly cannot fault this nursery. It’s fantastic!

Like many parents, I felt extremely anxious about the thought of my little one starting nursery. It's so important to feel comfortable and trusting with those you leave your most precious little ones with. From the very first visit, the team have been nothing but professional and kind. My little one absolutely loves attending and I can't recommend this lovely setting enough.

My child has been going to Goldhanger for a year now and I cannot recommend highly enough. The nursery has a very homely feel whilst being run in an extremely professional way. The staff are all really friendly and knowledgeable and my child absolutely loves them all. Managers are great, really approachable and always willing to help in any way possible. The children are given a healthy nutritious home cooked lunch every day and this has resulted in my child trying lots of new foods which is fantastic. The resources there are lovely, lots of things I haven't seen anywhere else, really individual and not like a generic nursery with all the same old toys. They also have a lovely outdoor space with some fab garden toys, trikes, balance bikes etc. They use an online system to log your childs activities, so you are able to see what they have been up to during the day, which I love. Couldn't be happier and will be sad to say goodbye when we move on to school.

Staff are extremely supportive and professional. They have been supporting me (!) and my son’s transition into the Nursery. They are truly treating each child as an individual and they notice all changes in them. They are also interested in my son’s bi-lingual development and are supporting his first language.

- Each time my son goes to the Nursery at the end of a day we receive his photos, information about his day and EYFS details on an app. It’s wonderful to see how happy he is.

- Very clean and safe environment. Absolutely the best out of many nurseries we checked before we came to Goldhanger.

- Variety of toys and equipment for children. Staff are very innovative and prepare interesting activities each day.

- Delicious home-cooked meals which have expanded my son’s taste preferences.

- Beautiful big garden with lots of age-appropriate equipment. Kids spend lots of time outside playing and learning about the world around us.

I would highly recommend their services. I feel confident my child is well looked after and enjoys preschool.

My daughter started in September and she absolutely loves it. She gets so excited on the mornings of nursery. She really enjoys the cooked lunches and tries lots of different food. The staff are amazing and so friendly. I can't recommend this nursery enough.

My son loves nursery, he always comes out full of beans talking about what he has done and who he has played with. It is a happy, friendly environment where he feels at home and safe. All the staff are very caring and compassionate at the same time as stretching the children's imaginations and teaching them new skills. My son asks to go to nursery on his days at home so to me this speaks for itself.

The owners have recently modernised the nursery and have made some fantastic changes, including homecooked, hot meals for the children. My son absolutely loves the food on offer. It has definitely improved his fussiness, as he is keen to try new things.

The day to day activities are brilliant and it's great to be able to see what my child has been up to using the Tapestry app. He always has a brilliant time at nursery and I cannot fault a thing.

My little boy goes to this nursery and he just loves every minute. I was so wary of taking the step towards using a nursery as he had been with a one-on-one childminder previously. The love and care he gets at Goldhanger is just incredible. It is like a little family. There is a really large amount of outdoor space which I think is so important for children of this age. The nursery is not overly formal which gives it a really warm family feel. All the nursery key workers are kind and patient and my little boy often talks about them on the days he is not at nursery. When I remind him it is a nursery day he cheers. Thank you for all your hard work.

I hope to be able to send my new daughter or son to this nursery.
