Goldhanger Community Nursery

Having worked in nurseries myself I was anxious and determined to find the right setting for my child/children, and we definitely found it, thank you again to the manager and all the staff at Goldhanger Nursery.

Our little boy has been at Goldhanger Community Nursery for 6 months now and loves it. He has come on so much since being there and they have really helped his social skills. Staff are great and communication is excellent - can’t recommend enough.

My child first started nursery in August, and since then and now, it's always been a second home for him. He is so confident now and has developed so much, especially with his speech, and I cannot thank Goldhanfer Community Nursery enough! It has such a family, friendly environment, and all the staff are so helpful and supportive! Could not recommend this nursery enough. Thank you, Goldhanger Nursery for all your support and help with our boy. Also, the love that they have. Amazing food as well as healthy and fresh!

All the staff are welcoming and friendly and really helped with the transition of my son starting nursery, having not been in a childcare setting before. I was very nervous and emotional but they really made me feel at ease. The communication is great - just the right amount. My son's key worker has formed a lovely bond with him and he really is so happy when he goes in. He loves the food too.

A friendly invested nursery with unique village and country opportunities for the children. It is clear the team love the children and want them to feel comfortable and thrive.

The team at Goldhanger Nursery are great! My daughter has settled well and loves telling me her key worker's name. The updates on the app are fab, telling us about her day and what she has learnt. The food, service, activities and crafts are so lovely day in, and day out. All the team were supportive during transition times eg. weaning off the dummy etc, and following little ones routine. Highly recommended, really lovely nursery!

Our son has been at Goldhanger Community Nursery since his second birthday. We have been very pleased with the level of care in the toddler room and now in the preschool room. Communication (via the app and also in person) is good. Our son's development has come on in leaps and bounds since he started. We have no concerns at all about the nursery and he is very happy.

My two daughters absolutely love Goldhanger Community Nursery, they run in happily without looking back and come home excited to tell me about their day. They were both quite shy before they started and have gained so much confidence along with lots of friends. All the staff are always very friendly and approachable and it’s lovely to see how passionate they are about their jobs.

I highly recommend this nursery, both the manager and deputy manager and all the staff are friendly, welcoming and professional and clearly care so much about all the children. The standard of care, learning and food is amazing, both my daughters have progressed so much both socially and developmentally since starting. I was worried about returning to work after having my youngest as I wasn’t sure how she would cope being left having spent most of her life in lockdown, but she loved it from day one and gets excited as soon as she sees the building. My oldest asks every morning if she can go to nursery today!

My son started at Goldhanger last year when we moved house. I was really apprehensive about the change but it was the best thing that we could have done. Goldhanger is an extremely personal, warm and caring setting. The staff know and understand each child and the resources and outside space are excellent. I love hearing about the lovely activities that my Son gets up to and seeing the Tapestry updates. My younger Son will be starting at Goldhanger later this year and I know that he will be safe and happy.

From my first meeting with the Nursery Manager and seeing the setting I knew it was right for my daughter. The nursery is simply amazing in every way and I am sad that we had to leave when we relocated. I only wish we could pick up Goldhanger Nursery, the manager and all her brilliant staff and take it with us. Our daughter took a while to settle at her previous nursery and so I was very careful with my choice. I made the right decision and she settled in extremely well and very quickly. The team are caring, efficient, friendly and it is obvious they love to work at Goldhanger Nursery. The level of communication I cannot fault, we would receive fabulous updates on our daughter's day with some great photos. The food menu was always nutritious and varied. Our daughter is a fusspot and they managed to persuade her to eat some of it which is a miracle in our case. I have to say of the three nurseries she has attended this one stands out a mile, thank you Team Goldhanger.

Well, what can I say? The care Goldhanger Community Nursery has given my two tots has been nothing short of outstanding. The children are always keen to go, fulfilled and cared for beautifully with a fun, stretching and creative approach. The home-cooked healthy food has expanded the children's horizons. We are so fortunate to have this great team in our lives.

Goldhanger Community Nursery is absolutely wonderful. I can’t recommend this nursery enough. My two girls attend the nursery and they are so happy there. The nursery sends updates on tapestry detailing all the fun activities they’ve done. The staff are so caring and kind. The nursery itself has great facilities and a lovely garden area that backs onto a field of alpacas. The daily menu is great, with home-cooked fresh nutritious food.

I’ve been so pleased with the nursery and our daughter loves going. Thank you.

The staff work very hard to ensure that we are up to date on 'Tapestry' where there are daily updates of photos, activities she's enjoyed and food she's eaten.

Excellent Nursery. My son has been attending for a year now and we couldn’t be happier. Communication is great and all staff are very approachable, friendly and willing to help with any concerns. Beautiful setting with great garden and a wide variety of outdoor toys which my son loves. Great home-cooked nutritious food which always has a varied menu and sounds delicious. I find the Tapestry site fantastic and a lovely insight into how his day has been. Lots of pictures added and information on how he’s progressing after each session. I would highly recommend Goldhanger Nursery.

Both of our children attend this nursery and are very happy to attend. The staff are welcoming and kind and we have a real sense that our children are not only cared for but cared about as well. All of the staff are approachable and have helped both of our children develop not only educationally but socially as well. The staff have a positive 'can do' attitude especially concerning behavioral concerns, potty training etc. More recently the measures to keep the children and staff safe during the coronavirus pandemic have been excellent; keeping us as parents informed of changes/challenges etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery. The food provided at the nursery is varied and nutritional and the menu changes with the seasons as well as on a four-weekly rotation; this has been of benefit to both of my children who are keen to share what they have tried which is new etc.

I have been very pleased sending my child here. The manager and the team have always been very helpful, accommodating and communicate very well. I feel the nursery has handled the challenges of Covid very well and can work knowing my child is in good hands.
