Townsend Montessori Nursery Herne Bay

A few staff members in particular are all wonderful and I am very happy that they are influencing him in his early years. I have no complaints at all.

This is a fantastic nursery. The staff are amazing and friendly, the activities are amazing and the food is fabulous! My son is doing so well, he’s learning so much. He plays outside which I love, he’s made lots of friends and really loves going.

Good. They pay attention to the child’s learning goals, do one to ones and keep the app updated. The children seem happy and well cared for, and I feel confident that my child’s developmental needs are being reviewed and progressed.

We have been so happy with Montessori Herne Bay. Our son always comes home talking about his friends, the staff and everything he has done and learnt. He can now hold a pen and loves pointing out numbers and letters that he can recognise when we are out. He loves being outside and has loved the Forrest school area of the nursery. All of the staff were friendly and enthusiastic to tell us about our son’s day and they went over and above to help him settle in and get to know who everyone was. He eats a wide range of food and the staff always report back to us what he has eaten. The app is really good and we love to read and see photos of what he’s been up to such as painting, making planets from paper mache, making pancakes, building, writing his name, all sorts! The staff get back straight away and always call if they have any questions for us. We couldn’t thank them all enough for all that they do.

The nursery is fantastic. Very accommodating and the staff are amazing. I’m not going to say any more as feel the management (Not Herne Bay) are lacking.

An amazing nursery. My little boy loves it and has came so far since being there. All the staff are amazing and so helpful and he really enjoys going and they have been so helpful and helping us with his potty training as well.

My son is so happy there. He eats so good and he is developing so well. The interaction with other kids is so positive for his learning. Every carer looks after him with love and respect. The parent zone app is updated every day with his routine activities and some days they upload some pictures of him and the activiy of the day. In general, the nursery really fit our needs and we feel happy to leave him as part of our days.

The app is also fantastic as you can follow your child’s day to see when they’ve had a nappy change, eaten, had a sleep or my favourite, the little snapshot pictures of their day to see what they’ve been up to!

My little boy started this nursery in 2021 after he struggled to settle at another local nursery. He settled straight away and has loved it ever since, the staff know him so well and he feels safe and happy at nursery. The staff create interesting and interactive learning activities based on the children's likes (e.g Mario, ice cream, dinosaurs) this gives the children the opportunity to bond with the other children and form friendships. My little boy has made lots of friends at his nursery and is always excited to see them, the children are taught good manners, why diversity is good and why always being kind to others is so important. This nursery has shaped my son into the chatty, comical, friendly and confident little lad that he is today - I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone and often do!

I really feel it’s such a shame that the nursery has moved away from the app, as I feel like communication has gone down a lot since, and I know the nursery finds it frustrating too. I used to love looking at what the children had been up to, especially if there was a lovely photo of my son, and I miss that a lot.

My little boy started here in March and it's such an amazing nursery, he is doing so well and the staff are absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone, really would, so happy and my little boy loves it, always asking if he is going to play school.

Staff are lovely, responsive to my baby’s needs and he has settled quickly. I was pleased that many of the staff are familiar from when my older two attended the setting last year and felt very comfortable leaving my baby in their care.

My daughter really enjoys her time at nursery. She has come so far in making friends and communicating with others. Nursery has definitely been helpful for her. I did have to have a meeting with management as I was unhappy with some things but this has been resolved.

My children look forward to going to nursery and are always happy at collection. There is lots of outside space and my preschooler is able to move freely between inside and outside which suits him perfectly. The room staff and managers are always welcoming and friendly and take time to share new skills and highlights from my children's days. The nursery can provide all meals and snacks which was an important factor when initially viewing nurseries.

The only thing at the moment is they’ve changed the app recently and it’s not as good, probably just teething issues. We’re just not getting pictures throughout the day and can’t message like we used to.

I couldn’t be happier with the nursery. All the staff are so kind and friendly and really understand my son’s personality. They always keep me informed about his day on the app and give a detailed handover. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

My son has recently started at the nursery and has underlying physical health issues along with attachment/developmental delays. The staff at the nursery have been absolutely amazing I cannot fault the care that has been provided to him so far. They have taken time to understand his every need and areas of development they can help support with and have actioned this straight away, communication with us as parents we cannot fault and we are so pleased we made the decision to change his nursery to Townsend Montessori as already he has shown an improvement surrounding his development and attachments.

The staff are amazing, their support and patience are totally appreciated at things like drop off and I know my child is cared for and taught new things every day. The facilities are great and the outdoor space is such an added bonus

I just wanted to thank you very much for all your care and support in helping my daughter settle into the nursery in the past couple of weeks, especially with her additional needs. The team have been exceptional and I can't thank you enough.

My son has attended the nursery for two years. The care and support he has received, and us too as newly adoptive parents, has been invaluable. We will never be able to thank the team enough for encouraging, supporting and developing our baby into the extraordinary little person he is today.
