My husband and I are extremely happy with the Herne Bay Montessori nursery.
My son has almost been there 3 years. He has so much fun and gets the opportunity to do so many different activities.
The staff are fantastic and always are so polite and welcoming to the children, as well as being kind
and encouraging to them.
They are willing to talk to parents if there's a concern if ever the parents need.

Our son has been going to the nursery for about a year now and he absolutely loves going every day. They do so many wonderful activities each day and we are regularly notified of what they are doing each day via an app. The nursery really make you feel like one big family and the ladies that look
after my son know him (and us now!) so well. The new addition of the mini indoor wooden play frame upstairs is definitely a hit with him, he loves doing all the songs and dancing with the ladies. A few times I've walked in and he's not seen me enter and I've been able to get a true glimpse of what he gets up to and he is always so happy and is having so much fun. On handover we're always told about his day, his food, his naps and what he's been up to. My daughter used to attend the nursery too and she loves coming with me to pick up her brother and still gets lots of cuddles from the nursery ladies who knows her. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our children - they have the best nursery!

Great nursery, my daughter loves it!
I enjoy seeing updates throughout the day on the app and finding out what my daughter has been learning. The food menu is good, healthy food and snacks.

This nursery has been extremely welcoming from the second they have started nursery .
Clear expectations of the day ahead are detailed - staff team and management are exceptional.
This was the right child nursery for them and will be recommending to all within our area.

My daughter has been coming to Herne bay Montessori nursery for a long time now. Starting upstairs in the squirrels classroom where they cared for her so well, helped her to interact with others created amazing friendships and gained so much confidence.
She then moved down to the Hedgehogs room
where she has learnt so much and will come home telling me about her day and all the new things she has learnt. Numbers, letter, colours, expanding on language skills. Often comes home with different foods she had made within the class.
She is now starting school in September and I am sad to be leaving the Herne bay family they are honestly amazing.

My 3 year old loves going to nursery twice a week - the variety of activities that she takes part in is fantastic, and the support from the staff members has excelled her development and enabled her to find a friendship circle in just a few months. My son (1 year old) has also recently started and
is settling better than I could have imagined.

My daughter has been coming here since September and I can honestly say she loves it! She has come on leaps and bounds in her development and absolutely adores her keyworker, who always sets up great activities for my daughter to enjoy!
The outdoor space is her particular favourite.
She has been
involved in so much since starting nursery; doing baking, planting, arts and crafts..I truly cannot thank the nursery enough for all they do.

My children have been coming to Montessori since 9months old and are now 3! As well as older sibling too who is now at school.
They absolutely love going to nursery!
The staff are incredibly caring and create a truly nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to learn
and grow.
Their key workers know them inside out and are amazing.
They always talk about what they have done in the day of an evening and love the extra activities that are provided, dance, yoga, football & rugby.

What an amazing team! I'm absolutely thrilled with the whole Townsend team. I enrolled my daughter when she was just three months old, which is younger than most, and they've truly gone above and beyond to ensure she has the best possible nursery experience. The entire staff have been so welcoming
to her (and me) and I'm incredibly grateful to them all. My daughter's key person, in particular, has been exceptional. She genuinely cares about her and I feel re-assured she's in the best possible care when she's not with me or her dad.

The team at Townsend Herne Bay are very patient, accommodating and caring for all of the children and their families. They stop and listen when our family need to make special requests for our daughter and they work hard to ensure that she has a great day every day and that she is cared for and
heard. Each week, they think of exciting activities, relevant to the EYFS but also the various events happening nationally at those times. It's been a fantastic nursery and I know that our daughter has had a brilliant start to her education here.

I was so nervous to put my son into nursery having not started until nearly 2. But all the girls were so wonderful during the settling in process, I got plenty of updates throughout the day and now after 3 weeks or so he loves it, runs into his key workers arms and has probably had a cuddle from
every staff member. There's lots of activities daily for the children, lots of outside time in the garden, they really care about the children and all put the effort in to get to know them individually not just their key children. It's so reassuring to know he's safe and wants to go in and sleeps better at night for it! Another bonus is parking I always manage to park for pick up and drop off, highly recommend.

My little girl has attended Townsend Montessori Herne Bay since she was 9 months old. She has absolutely thrived in this setting. She has secure, caring relationships with all the key workers who are so knowledgeable in her needs and how to support her. My husband and I feel confident dropping her
to nursery every day knowing that her day will be filled with a plethora of activities that have increased her confidence, social skills and learning. She receives additional input from a qualified teacher alongside activities such as football, yoga and rugby which she always looks forward to. She is being thoroughly prepared for the first stage of formal education and I dread the day we all need to say goodbye. Thank you, Townsend Montessori Herne Bay!

The nursery provides a variety of enrichment and fun activities for the children. It is great that they also have a qualified teacher who helps plan interesting learning activities.
The weekly football, yoga, rugby and dance sessions ensure that there are regular group exercise activities.
The
staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. They take a keen interest in child development and ensuring the space is welcoming and safe for everyone.
The meals provided are varied and nutritious - allowing the children to experience healthy food options and the opportunity to pick how much of each thing they eat.
I could not ask for a better nursery for my son.

This nursery has really turned things around so it feels only fair to write a review on how well my daughter is now doing. She's a lot more settled, outspoken, and happier since the changes have been made. She's well cared for and I no longer have any concerns. A particular member of staff is
absolutely brilliant with my daughter and nothing is too much for her. I’m regularly kept updated via the app with comments and photos of what my daughter has been learning throughout the day.

The staff are absolutely amazing! Always go above and beyond for the children, great communication with the parents or carers. They really get to know the children on a one-to-one basis, and take so much pride and care into them. I would highly recommend sending your children here.

All the staff at Townsend Montessori Herne Bay are amazing and extremely helpful. They are great at keeping us informed and I love the new emails they send out to let us know what extra sessions are available each week. My child is very happy here and is growing in her skills and knowledge thanks to
the fantastic staff.

Townsend has been amazing with our 1-year-old. She struggled to settle in initially and they were more than happy to provide further settle sessions and work closely with us and our daughter to make sure she had the best experience in the nursery. We always hand over to her key worker on pick up and
drop off. There was one occasion when her key worker wasn’t going to be in, we were informed the day before and assured that another nursery worker would receive a full handover of our daughter. The app is updated on things such as meals, and nappy changes on the same day and we receive weekly photos and observations. All the staff are polite when we come in and all know our daughter by name. Highly recommend!

Love, love, love the nursery and all the girls that work in the hedgehog room! They really do go above and beyond.
My child has come on leaps and bounds since being here.
The only reason I have down-scored the value for money is because I would like to be able to provide a packed lunch and
because I’m not able to, I have to pay a considerable amount extra each month more than £100 extra! This is the only downfall of the nursery.

The nursery has been great for both of my children, but currently, my son attends. The team have really got to know him and understand his likes and dislikes. The activities are so varied. He always comes home having enjoyed his day, especially, football, yoga and the forest class.

We are delighted with Townsend Nursery. The staff are amazing, we can tell they all care for and know our son really well. The staff and children alike all seem happy whenever we walk in and the team is always happy to spend as much time as we like talking about our child, his habits, wellbeing, and
his development.
My son loves going to nursery and has settled in so well. He feels safe and cared for, with fun activities and (importantly for him) great food!
A few staff members in particular are all wonderful and I am very happy that they are influencing him in his early years. I have no complaints at all.
