Lydgate Pre-School

My experience with the nursery is very good. The staff are very good and build a good rapport with the parents and children. My daughter has adjusted very well in the nursery and I feel this is due to the excellent staff to make the children feel safe and happy in the nursery environment. The nursery is very clean and tidy, which is very good. My daughter has learnt a lot while at nursery and has built a good routine at the nursery.

The staff are good and very organised. My son has learnt a lot which will help him at reception too. The staff are sometimes firm with how they talk to the children but my son sometimes does not like it, but they tell him for the best which I understand.

Excellent setting. Need to be flexible with drop off and pickups. My little boy enjoyed his first term.

I am very impressed with this nursery. I don’t feel worried about leaving my child. I feel like she’s progressing a lot. The staff are helpful.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Lydgate Pre-School.

My daughter started in January 2019 and it took her a while to settle. The staff were very helpful and she settled in.

So far I am happy with the development and care my child gets from the nursery. The staff are really caring. My child likes it at the nursery. I would surely recommend this nursery to my friends and relatives.

My experience with Lydgate Pre-school has been excellent. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming my son who was a very clingy child. He never wanted to be away from me or his Dad but he has settled so well. He is excited and eager to come every day. He has picked up a lot more words and I have noticed his personality developing and changing.

Good experience so far, my daughter is progressing as expected and the staff are very supportive.

The nursery is good, they do a variety of activities with the children, the outdoor area is used all year round which is great as children should have a chance to play outside if they want, even in cold weather. Staff are friendly and will do all they can to help your child settle in. The only thing I think they could improve on is feedback to parents at the end of the session. My child is able to talk and tell me about snack and activities done but parents of children that don't have a lot of speech wouldn't know.

Lovely and welcoming staff. Very supportive of my child's issues ie lunchtimes and upset leaving mum.

My son has picked up a lot whilst being here. His speech has improved and he is starting to put more words in sentences. He enjoys playing with other children and enjoys being around the staff.

The staff and nursery, in general, have done wonders for my daughter. She is more confident and loves going to nursery on her days. She doesn't have any problems and the staff are a credit to the school.

Staff always helpful and polite. Would recommend to other parents. Facilities are really good.

Lydgate Nursery was fantastic. Three of my six children went to the nursery and never had a problem. The staff were amazing with children. I would recommend this nursery to all.

My daughter has really opened up a lot and also mixes with other kids. She has learnt a lot about colours, numbers and letters.
