Little Inspirations Day Nursery - Newport sits in a convenient location close to Bassaleg and enjoys easy access to Newport City Centre.

The nursery offers a warm and welcoming environment, including a secure garden for children to explore. All meals served at the nursery are cooked fresh on the premises.

With three separate and age-appropriate rooms, children are allowed to learn and grow at their own pace. In the baby room, children are encouraged to develop their sensory skills.

The toddler room is designed for those who are taking their first steps, and has access to the garden and outdoor classroom.

Really lovely nursery. Our boys love to go in to see all their friends and the teachers. The team of colleagues is very friendly. Plenty of activities. Our older boy is always happy and excited to go in and he is asking to go to see his friends. We are very pleased with this nursery and we would highly

Really personable staff, my little boys are always so happy after spending their morning at Little Inspirations Newport. Love the communication from staff during the day and they are prompt to answer any questions in person and via the app. Very happy mama.

Great and friendly staff, really helping my child grow and develop. Great regular updates, personalised care, varied diet, and stimulating environment. My child has been going there for over a year, and I am pleased with the care provided so far.

Wonderful nursery. My son loves going and has thrived since he started just before turning 1. He's coming up 2 years at the nursery and loves it all the same. I feel confident in sending him (and shortly his sister) to this setting.

Nothing but amazing feedback for this nursery. Our child has been going here for 2 years and absolutely loves it. The staff and managers are so friendly and caring. They have worked alongside us and supported us with our child's development, highlighting areas he is excelling in as well as areas he
needs extra support which they have put a robust plan in place to help him. The children do a lot of learning through play indoors and outdoors and we love seeing the pictures they send. We love having access to an app to see how he is eating and sleeping through the day and being able to use this to speak to the staff where needed. Our son has come on leaps and bounds being at this nursery and we are very grateful for everything they have done and do for our family.

Lovely nursery with great staff, they are friendly and engaging. They take great care and it's clear they develop caring relationships with the children. We always feel our child is well looked after, she loves going and is very happy to play and go to the workers. The nursery has a great digital app
that keeps you up to date of activities, food and any happenings. It's great for keeping in touch when needed. The food is good quality and varied, our child loves to try new things, they eat like kings and queens.

Little Inspirations Nursery has given my grandson a fantastic start to his educational career, he has really enjoyed his time at the Nursery making some fabulous friends and great memories. He is always very keen to attend, to meet his friends and teachers. I think he will very much miss everything

It's the staff that gives Little Inspirations 5 stars for me. They listen, they're super friendly and look after the little ones. You can see it on the kid's faces what they think of them. Thank you to all the staff at Little Inspirations for doing such a wonderful job.

Both my daughters attend the nursery they are 4 and 2. They thoroughly enjoy their time at the nursery and have made lots of connections since being there. The staff are amazing, so caring and professional - I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

Both our children have thrived at Little Inspirations Day Nursery - Newport. Our son started whilst we were in the pandemic and so we were worried about how he would be, and whilst it got off to a rocky start with some staffing issues, after management took over it has got better and better. We moved
out of the immediate area and so it would have been easier for us to change nurseries but we decided to stay and also put our daughter into Little Inspirations Day Nursery - Newport as well. She has been well cared for and loves going for the 2 days a week. I think the fact that I and many other parents trust Little Inspirations Day Nursery - Newport with our most precious loved ones says it all.

Little inspirations has been incredibly supportive from the moment my child started. They enjoy going to nursery and will be incredibly sad when the go to school. They have been inclusive in my journey as a parent using cloth nappies and adapting menus to suit my child’s dietary needs. Only small problem
is the daily stuff isn’t always uploaded to the Famly app consistently. But aside from that the whole staff are wonderful and have taken great care of my child.

Lovely nursey, all the staff are really friendly, my little ones always come home full of smiles, and the pictures they provide always shows him happy too. They provide nice handovers too, about their day, and how they've been. Overall happy.

Great staff who are always friendly, welcoming and answer any questions I may have. My daughter is well looked after and she is happy arriving at nursery which is probably the best feedback. The Famly App is reassuring to keep us updated on some aspects of her day. I'm never quite sure about the activities
she is doing or what she is learning, or even struggling with and feel the App could be used to provide some of this information which is invaluable to parents. We used to get weekly updates on what our child's room had been working on during the week but unfortunately, that stopped a while ago. It's difficult to comment on some of the points below such as resources and cleanliness as due to the pandemic I haven't had the opportunity to see inside. The wraparound for local Primary Schools does seem really limited which is unfortunate.

The staff are amazing!
Always very helpful and I love the app it helps keep me updated on my son’s day.
Th enursery is very clean and tidy.
Lots of toys for my son to play with.

Staff are fab, kids love them. They will go above and beyond to support your child.
Be aware; management (out of nursery) are very slow to support these staff and cut every corner possible. Communication is poor from the same people.
They pay staff minimum wage - which is the same at most nurseries,
but they do not reward their hard work. Why follow when you can lead? Pay staff better and naturally you will get better staff and happier parents.
Apart from that - the nursery is great, a bit old and needs work done but again management will not be doing this anytime soon! They depend on their staff doing goodwill gestures.

My little girl used to attend Little Inspirations before coronavirus and always enjoyed her time here, so when it was time for our 1 year old son to start nursery Little Inspirations was our first choice.


Staff are attentive and caring, and the nursery is a really nurturing environment. There is

a wide range of educational activities and a good variety of healthy meals and snacks, freshly cooked on the premises each day.


Safeguarding and communication with parents is second to none and I love following my little boys day on the parent app, seeing when he’s eaten, been changed or had a little sleep. The staff also send pictures on the app to you too, which is a lovely extra touch, especially in these times.


All in all, I can’t praise the nursery and the lovely staff highly enough, and I am very pleased that there was space for my little boy this year.

My son started in September 2020, the staff have been fantastic since day 1. He has come on so much and he absolutely loves it. They have done so well in terms to COVID. I am so happy with the nursery and would 100% recommend.

My son has been going to Little Inspirations Newport since February 2020. Only managed a month and then we had to keep him home for lockdown. I had a phone call halfway through lockdown to see how we were managing and getting on and that they couldn’t wait for him to go back.
Since being back July
2020 he has loved every minute. He has been coming home with lots of arts and crafts. They keep the app up to date so we can see what his eating and napping is like throughout the day.
They’ve been working really hard to keep everyone safe during this rough time but still keeping it as normal as possible for the children.
