Sherwood Green Nursery in Bradford offers children a wide and stimulating range of learning experiences.
The nursery has well-equipped indoor and outdoor learning environments which support and help to develop children's mental and physical wellbeing. Each child has their own key worker who has overall responsibility for their care, well being and development.
Staff structure the day around the Early Years Foundation Stage and children learn through creative play.
Funding & Fees
Private Sessions Fee 0 - 5 years old
Half Day Morning (8:00am – 1:00pm) – £42 per session
Half Day Afternoon (1:00pm – 6:00pm) – £42 per session
Early Start (from 7:30am) – Additional £5 per day (available on request)
All fees include:
Daily educational and sensory activities
Outdoor play and new learning experiences
We offer government-funded places for eligible children 9m - 4 years old
Funded hours are free of charge — the only cost to parents is for meals, snacks, and consumables, or parents may choose to provide a packed lunch instead.

I found the nursery to be very welcoming, the staff are kind and considerate and do their best to keep things up to date. Love all the different cultures shown to the children and the events they do to celebrate special occasions in and around different cultures giving children the knowledge to accept different ways of living. The love and support they showed us as a family due to the loss of grandchild's mummy went above and beyond they did everything possible to help us at such a difficult time in our lives and will never be forgotten. Can never thank the staff enough for their duty of care. I wish you all the very best for the future and a massive thank you to each and every one of you.
What impressed us the most was the management's responsiveness and flexibility. They accommodated all our requests on short notice, making us feel valued and supported.

As a mum who works in a nursery herself, I would highly recommend this place to many other people. My most favourite thing about this nursery is that you have taught my son to be very independent e.g. eating by himself, helping him talk and last but not least making him walk. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone I could possibly tell.
Our son has been attending Sherwood Green Nursery for the last three years. With the support and guidance of the staff, he really has developed into a very bright and intelligent 4-year-old, so ready for a big school! My son started attending nursery in January 2024, I was very reluctant and nervous because my son has never been away from me, however, the staff have been amazing and welcoming and helped my boy settle in really quickly. My son adores his key worker who goes over and beyond to make him feel safe and welcome. My son really enjoys going to nursery now.

Honestly, have nothing but praise for the room leaders, my boy loves nursery and that in itself is something. He’s so excited every morning now knowing he’s going to go and it’s a lovely feeling knowing he’s happy there. Really good nursery with amazing staff who are approachable! My daughter has been here since 2023 and has come a long way, she loves coming to nursery and really enjoys herself. The staff are really helpful as I get updates throughout the day on what my child has eaten and what they have been doing. Would definitely recommend!

Emilia's journey in childcare is marked by a rich tapestry of experience. Having worked with children across all age groups and in various capacities within nursery settings, Emilia possesses a deep understanding of the developmental needs and nuances of each child.
Her commitment to excellence is evident through her completion of numerous courses, including Advanced Safeguarding for Designated Safeguarding Leads, First Aid, Leadership and Management, and Health and Safety. Emilia's comprehensive skill set ensures that she provides the highest standard of care and education to every child entrusted to Sherwood Green Nursery.
Beyond her professional endeavours, Emilia finds fulfilment in caring for her two cherished boys and exploring the wonders of the world through travel.
