My child has attended Hillside on Queen Street since she was 9 months old, she is now 3 and will be leaving at Christmas to attend full-time nursery elsewhere. I believe she wouldn’t be the little girl she is if she hadn’t attended this nursery. She’s so well developed and forward for her age and I have to give the credit to Hillside and all who have worked with her. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and I know she is well looked after. I will be sad when she leaves to be honest, but feel better knowing she may possibly go back in school holidays if there is space for her.

All staff go absolutely above and beyond and exceed expectations! Was very impressed from the show round and my daughter settled in straight away! All the staff are absolutely amazing and so welcoming! Lots of take home packs to do, weekly events, all celebrations and holidays are celebrated. Always new activities going on and providing learning opportunities for all children. My daughter's needs have always been met and catered for. After visiting a lot of nurseries and feeling let down, I can honestly say this is one of the only nurseries where I feel 100% comfortable my daughter being in. Thank you so much to all the staff, especially the nursery manager and preschool staff members.

I am so pleased with nursery, amazing staff, my daughter finally started to speak. Every day is a different day, different activities. I can see that my my daughter started making friends. The teachers are fabulous, very friendly and you can tell they really care for the children. I would recommend this nursery to anyone reluctant to leave their child, outgoing or anxious children or anyone seeking the best education and care for their child.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

Hillside Childcare has been an absolute godsend to our family over the last five years! All of the staff have been so friendly across both settings (Altofts and Queen Street). I don’t have a single negative thing to say, they have looked after my 2 children with their best interests and development as a priority from the beginning.

I have used Hillside for both of my 2 children and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Despite the restrictions covid brought I don't feel my children missed out on anything, in fact, the staff were wonderful and caring throughout.

The care they have received is exceptional and the feedback was always warm and friendly

Our daughter loves her days here. The staff are great and I would 100% recommend it. Very accommodating and stick to any schedules/routines you would like to. There is a variety of food so she tries new foods all the time.

My children have attended Hillside (pre-school) for the past year - from day one, they have been very happy and settled. They have made huge progress in the time they have been at Hillside, and the team have supported them to achieve their potential.

My daughter has attended this nursery since March 2022 I am always kept up to date with her progress and development, how her fluid and nutrition have been and how her day has been, if she has ever been unwell or there has been any issues or concerns I have always been called or informed on collection hillside always have their children’s best interest at heart. The staff in the baby room are amazing when I pick my daughter up I always see the staff involved in all the babies and they always accommodate and ensure they adhere to equality diversity and inclusion, the management are hands on and always interact with the children. I would always recommend this nursery to any of my family and friends.

Both my children have attended Hillside Childcare - Queen Street. All the staff have supported and helped over the last 3 years. They have gone above and beyond and we will never be able to thank them enough. It’s a beautiful setting and fantastic for the children. Both my children love going to nursery. Absolutely amazing!

Staff are wonderful with my daughter, she loves going in and has bonded with both the staff and children. She seems to be learning more every day. Also working wonders with her eating despite her being beyond picky.

We have had a wonderful experience at the nursery. We had to move our daughter following covid and the team and management were so welcoming. My daughters confidence and skills have developed substantially since she started. The activities available are great and in line with helping her to grow and build. The staff loves to listen and use this information to develop activities and games.

An amazing nursery and I will be sad the day my son has to leave.

Does what it says on the box, and much more. Hillside have accommodated, documented and encouraged my sons development in many wonderful ways. The team genuinely care for, and work so well with the children. I sometimes feel that I stand second to his carers! We have no complaints - 10/10

My child has attended Hillside Childcare - Queen Street for over a year now and the progress he has made is outstanding. He absolutely loves the nursery and all the ladies who work with him, they have all been brilliant with him. My son has additional needs and I could not ask more from the staff, with getting his EHCP in place so early for him, to meeting every single one of his individual needs. My son has gone from being non verbal to talking all the time and he is learning so much at nursery. My daughter will also be starting here in the next couple of weeks. The staff are so friendly and they all do an incredible job!

My children have attended here for the past five years, and I couldn’t have wished for a better nursery for my children to grow and develop in. The team are very caring and always listens to any worries or concerns. My children are very happy here and are always excited to go see their friends and the team members who they have such good relationships with. Highly recommend.
