Kids Planet Queen Street

All staff are more than welcoming to both myself and my daughter who has attended Queen Street for 4 months now. She has come on leaps within just a short period of time and comes home every day talking about all the kind staff. I have never felt so comfortable leaving her in childcare as I do with these guys. I would recommend Queen Street to anyone in the area.

My daughter extremely like the "aunties". Every time she comes back very excited from nursery and she tells us what she did all day. Staff are very friendly and we really appreciate it, because they do more than they should do. I can really recommend the nursery.

Absolutely outstanding nursery, my daughter attended nursery from 2018 until she was 3 and my son started in 2023, I knew when I had my second child he also had to attend even though we moved out of the area we made the travel to ensure he couple also come, Queen Street always had that family feel and I felt so at ease and happy to send him here after my daughter having such an amazing experience. My son who now attends absolutely loves coming to nursery, he has fantastic bonds with all practitioners and is developing beautifully and it's an absolute credit to all at Queen Street. They have put me at ease by catering to his food allergies and provide the most nurturing environment to help him grow and flourish. Thank you so much.

Everyone at Queen Street have been really supportive over the years our son has attended, especially through some difficult times for our family. They have provided a welcoming and caring environment for our son and he is always excited to go in the mornings. We are always amazed at the skills and vocabulary he has picked up. Most recently their support during potty training has been invaluable.

The level of updates and thorough reports of breakdowns of the day are impressive. And the new things are always being introduced to stimulate and inspire the kids are creative and well thought out. Thanks.

Our son has attended Queens Street Nursery from the baby room until starting reception and now is due to start in the Out of School Club. At every step of his journey, the staff have been incredible, always friendly and approachable, and quickly establishing a positive relationship with my child. He has flourished at Queens Street under the care of such amazing practitioners, and I will be always grateful for the care shown to him. Shout out to one lady who has been an absolute favourite in preschool - I think she may also have learnt a thing or two about dinosaurs and space! Thank you Queens Street, you are amazing!

The range of activities is so impressive, my son has had a great experience and has learnt a lot. In the last few months, they have begun preparation with him for school, which has helped the transition so much and again shown how dedicated to the children they are. Nothing is too much to ask the staff, they are all very accommodating. I would highly recommend this as a childcare provider.

My granddaughter is due to leave in August to go to full-time school, which will be very sad, we all will miss them very much.

My daughter has been attending Queen Street for three years. All the staff know her and greet her when they see her, and they are professional and friendly with all our dealings with them. Our daughter always comes home with a smile on her face and stories of all the fun things they have done. The staff have supported her when needed and she has developed into a confident and inquisitive little girl. I can relax when I drop her off knowing she is in good hands. We'll miss you all when she starts school in September.

Both my girls absolutely love the nursery, my youngest just started there and the staff have been amazing with her, my oldest absolutely loves going to the nursery and it's amazing to see how far she has come. The staff and management are always amazing and I feel confident that my girls are getting the best care.

My child has been at this nursery since he was just 6 months old. I can honestly say his key workers have been brilliant and I have always felt at ease going to work. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Kids Planet Queen Street and will miss it lots. Couldn't praise this place enough.

Amazing nursery! My little girl has been here since she was very small and is now in full-time school. She loves Kids Planet so much that we still do after-school clubs and she goes throughout all the holidays. The staff are so friendly, professional and personable. Our daughter also came on leaps and bounds when she started here and has learnt so many skills from attending.

I just would like to say how great Kids Planet is at Normanton, they have been amazing with my little boy who has a disability, they have encouraged him to learn and grow and gain confidence. He has really come on in his ways since starting here last September 23. The staff are all excellent, very hands-on and they note everything the child has eaten and when they've slept etc. They do such fun activities indoors and outdoors. The building has had a makeover and it looks excellent, really welcoming space for any child to enjoy. I cannot praise Kids Planet enough and all the staff are so lovely, my little boy really adores each and every one of you. I’d highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has attended Queen Street since she was 10 months old. As a parent I was nervous about her attending so young and how she would cope but I had no reason to worry at all! She absolutely loves nursery still 8 months later! She’s thriving and she loves all the staff and they love her. She gets so much from her nursery experience and I know I made the best decision to choose Queen Street! They always have interesting fun activities for her to investigate things she otherwise wouldn’t get to experience. Her key worker is amazing with her and they have such a lovely bond! She has even supported and guided me with expectations of her health which I’m extremely grateful for! The care they give is above and beyond!

Amazing nursery and amazing staff always go above and beyond, my son really enjoys going to nursery, their food is freshly cooked every and every day there are different learning areas and activities to do.

All 3 of my children have been going here and they have all loved the staff and the amazing activities they have to offer them every day. My youngest child has been going for some time now and has come out of his shell so much with other children! I cannot recommend them all enough as they’re so accommodating to mine and my children’s needs.

It’s such a relief to send my son to a place where I know he’s going to get the best care, they really do go above and beyond.

My little boy has a condition called Goldenhar Syndrome. This predominantly effects eyes, ears and spine, but comes with other challenges. My little boy also has developmental delay. He couldn't sit until he was 16 months and he wasn't walking or talking. His health care professionals recommended nursery. I was reluctant as I didn't need childcare and I was dubious about whether they could look after him properly. Since he started he's thrived - he's walking, dancing and trying to run. He's started saying more words too. His key worker is amazing with him and I know that she really cares about him and looks after him well, as do all of the staff there. They've trained to meet his needs, including thickening his drinks. They have a great menu, he loves their food. They provide nappies and wipes and the things they are doing such as sending veg home to make soup etc. is a lovely touch. I love the app, I can see what he's eaten and done that day.

My grandson loved his time at Kids Planet and he made some super progress with his number and letter work. The deputy manager did an amazing job with building his confidence as well as helping with his talking. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Thank you.

The staff go above and beyond to ensure my little girl's needs are met. Since joining the playroom a couple of months ago she loves going to nursery. The staff have helped her gain confidence and she now happily plays with the other children and has made good relationships with all members of staff, and she doesn’t attach to one person all the time.
