Montessori Minds is an Outstanding (November 2021), Award Winning, Family Run day nursery located just a few minutes away from Romford Station, Queens Hospital & Lodge Farm Park. The nursery is open from 7am to 7pm, 51 weeks of the year.

Montessori Minds follows a Montessori integrated approach to children's learning in addition to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Children feel nurtured, enjoy their time at nursery, flourish and grow. Meals are home cooked daily by the nursery chef who uses fresh, healthy and organic ingredients.

The nursery has homely surroundings and children and teachers are made to feel comfortable 'at home' during their stay. Children and teachers enjoy meals together and take part in cooking and outdoor activities related to nature and care for the environment. Staff are passionate and nurturing towards all children and take pride in ensuring each child flourishes during their time at the nursery to reach their full potential.

Montessori Minds Day Nursery has been an extraordinary nursery for our two daughters. It offers a wide range of stimulating activities - imaginative play sessions and engaging arts and crafts projects that have truly nurtured their curiosity and creativity. The large outdoor play area has been a favourite
spot for them to engage in exploration, imaginative play and social interaction with their friends. The teachers are exceptional and have been instrumental in their development, creating a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable exploring, learning and growing. Montessori Minds has had a profound impact on our girls’ social skills, confidence and love for learning. They come home every day eager to share stories of their adventures, creative endeavours and friendships. Montessori Minds has been an invaluable part of their early childhood journey. We highly recommend it to any parent seeking a stimulating, supportive and nurturing environment for their child's early years.

Our daughter has been attending for three months and is always excited to be dropped off. The room team have ensured she has settled in well and taken the time and effort to find out about what makes her tick. We receive regular communication from the team about what she has been doing during the day
and through the communications and photos, it is very clear that no day is the same and a wide range of activities are provided to keep them engaged and learning.
Our daughter has a few food allergies but they have been extremely professional in handling these and ensuring she gets the right meals to account for this. Receiving a detailed report daily of what has been eaten (and how much) is very useful. We are looking forward to her attending full-time in the near future.
During the initial inductions and when dealing with the office and management team, they have all been very responsive and helpful.

Staff members are kind, attentive and caring. They react quickly to any communication. There are always interesting activities kids are engaged with. Good variety and nutrition of meals.
Communication with management is efficient.

This nursery is world-class. We, along with our baby daughter who is now a toddler, have had a wonderful experience with this nursery, in particular, the key person who looks after our little one. The nursery really invests in the development of children genuinely and its outstanding Ofsted rating does
live up to the expectations. What’s more, they are innovative in that they follow their own curriculum in addition to the standard one and most nurseries don’t do this. I thoroughly recommend any parent to send their child here.

My son really enjoys going to nursery. When he first joined, he was a little unsettled as he had left a different setting. His key worker went over and beyond to make him feel settled. He would contact us daily to let us know how he was getting on and send pictures to show us what he was doing. Now
he can’t wait to go to nursery. His key worker has taken time to get to know him and he thoroughly enjoys spending time with both him and his new friends.
The children engage in a range of activities - cooking, mark making, re-enacting stories, science experiments and they promote independence as early as possible - washing their dishes and tidying up after themselves.
They supported me to potty train my child and offered me lots and guidance and tips.
They are always very helpful when I have a question/query and provide a safe and nurturing environment for my child to thrive in. I am really pleased with the setting, my second son will be joining in September.

This nursery is truly world-class in what they do, and how they do it and this applies to interacting with parents as well as their genuine interests are nothing but doing everything possible and beyond for the best development of your child. An example - the parent's evening not only was detailed and
informative in person but was provided in detail in written format along with home learning points for us to practise outside the nursery, which is particularly useful when our child only goes one day a week. We requested additional days for our daughter and they had no trouble arranging this. I am so, so grateful for finding this nursery. The ladies looking after my little one along with the administrator who is very accommodating.

My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of Montessori Minds Nursery. Both of our children joined the nursery when they were nine months old and the whole staff team has been incredible. The nursery really is a fabulous place and has done wonders and still doing wonders for the development of both
of our children. The staff are lovely and always welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend this to all the parents of going children.

We have had the best experience at Montessori Minds. Our child is happy going to class every day, she has settled well. The activities stimulate the children and develop them further. We couldn’t be happier with this nursery!
This is our second child to attend there. Staff really are amazing so caring and fun. Great educational experiences which are Montessori-led. Both our kids have thrived there, and you can tell just how happy they are there. They give very detailed reviews
on your child’s development which shows just how well they know your child. Nutrition is well thought out for the children and allergies are very carefully catered for. It’s a shame we can only give 5 stars as I would rate them so much higher than that.

Really great nursery where they take such good care of our child. He is so fulfilled and entertained with all the activities and games which are played that he gets bored when at home. The app is a great place to check on our child and is kept very well updated during the day with a lot of communication
if required via the app. Brilliant nursery and have seen a lot of development in my son since he has been attending the nursery with talking eating sleeping etc. would definitely recommend sending your child to this nursery.

Fantastic nursery with excellent staff! My son absolutely loves all the key people in his room. He has been at Montessori Minds for four months and has already learnt so much. The key people in his room provide weekly updates with photos of what activities the kids did during the week - which is an

We could not be happier with Montessori Minds. Right from the settling in period the staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and confident about leaving our baby in their care. All of the staff are really friendly and our baby is really happy to go with them every time. They keep
us updated throughout the day using the app, and our child always looks happy in the photos. They are always planning fun and educational activities for the children, including messy play, gardening and baking.

All the nursery staff are fabulous and really care about the children. I could not be happier with my son’s nursery. His teachers are kind, enthusiastic and responsive to his needs. They know him really well and tailor his learning to make sure he isn’t bored or disengaged, but is constantly being pushed at a pace he is comfortable with. He loves learning and this has
truly been fostered at the nursery with the teachers being guided by his own areas of interest and also gently guiding him to expand his understanding of the world. His social and emotional skills have also been supported and fostered and it shows.
There is a warmth and joy emanating from all the staff at the nursery and this means he goes in and comes home with a big smile every day.
We get regular and meaningful communication about him from his key worker, detailed termly reports of his progression and the manager communicates regularly with parents about any important information or changes.

I can't put into words how happy I am as a parent to have found this wonderful place Montessori Minds, where my boy feels really good and very happy to come every day. He is well looked after in school, learns a lot of things and is progressing every day. The trained and experienced staff are ready
to learn and respond to my child's individual needs, there are safe and clean premises welcoming and friendly with outside play space. Communication between parents and nursery is regular, immediate, effective and professional, we can share ideas and photos during the day through the nursery app.
Activities are varied and have really promoted my son's speech and understanding. Fresh food every day.
I am very pleased and I can only say thanks to the manager and staff.

My daughter has been attending Montessori Minds for almost 3 years. The nursery has consistently provided stimulating and challenging learning activities. These are regularly communicated with us. We have seen significant progress in her phonics and numeracy skills and we are impressed with the level
of tier 2 vocabulary that she uses in conversation. The nursery fully supports personal development; teaching about kindness, feelings, and diversity through celebrating different cultures and religious festivals. They have very high expectations of behaviour. The nursery organises trips and external providers are also regularly on site. The leadership of the nursery have clear policies and procedures which are communicated with parents and consistently implemented. Our daughter always leaves nursery happy, clean and full of stories. The food provided is varied and of excellent quality. We cannot fault the relentless drive for excellence by the management and staff of the nursery.

My son is really happy at this nursery and is happy when I drop him off and collect him. He has developed a lot in such a short space of time and I am very pleased with his progress. I am happy with the staff at this establishment, they always have time to talk with you about the child’s day and it

As first time parents, my wife and I couldn’t be happier with the experience we have had with the Montessori Minds family. Our child has become so attached to all of the staff at the nursery and they have been very accommodating to our personal circumstances. All the staff are friendly, helpful and
make us feel comfortable enough to ensure our child’s safety and well-being is upkept. They have also been beneficial in the development of our son as he is growing older. He comes home from nursery having learnt new things every time such as nursery rhymes, counting numbers, saying first words etc. We also like the fact that the nursery is very multicultural as our son can learn about other cultures, languages and food etc. We would recommend Montessori Minds to our friends and family and we are hoping to send our newborn daughter to this same nursery soon!
