Dockside Day Nursery and Pre-school

Exceptional nursery. My daughter absolutely loves it here. She has been to three nurseries. Due to recently moving in the area we had to find a new nursery, she was at the second for 6 months and she just did not settle. Then we found Dockside. Within two weeks she was settled, happy and loving her time there. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, really patient and understanding. Food is great, varied and balanced. My daughter gets her bag ready each night excited for the following day, to see her best friend and what exciting activities she could be doing. The manager is amazing and so helpful. I cannot rate it enough.

The rooftop garden is a highlight and allows the children a safe environment to enjoy outside space. The staff have been nothing but fantastic with me and my daughter and can't be praised enough. The famly app is a godsend so parents can see exactly what their child has been up to whilst at nursery, as well as photos to show the good time they are having! This app gives peace of mind as well as allowing parents and staff to communicate throughout the day. I know that my daughter is so well looked after whilst at nursery and I am so thankful to everyone.

Dockside Nursery is fantastic. The staff are absolutely amazing, and my son loves going to nursery. He is progressing so well and excited to go to "school" every day. He takes part in so many activities and the staff create special activities for him based on the things he likes. I couldn't ask for better staff to take care of my child. They were so reassuring when my son first started, taking everything at a pace both me and my son were comfortable with. The continuing care and support is amazing. I honestly can't praise this nursery enough.

Excellent caring staff! My daughter has been at home with me 2 years so I thought it would be stressful to start her at nursery, which it was naturally, but she quickly formed close relationships with the staff as they are all caring and patient. She enjoys herself and I have to say everyone reassured me as well! I’m now starting my 1 year old. I know they are in good hands and all the children here play together really nicely. Definitely recommend.

My little one looks forward to going to nursery every day, even on days he doesn't usually attend.

My little boy joined here in January 2019 and I can honestly say it's the best nursery he has ever been too. He has learnt so much by being here, his talking is much better, they have even started to toilet train him which his doing really well in. More importantly, his extremely happy here and all the staff are so lovely and I trust them 100% with him. At first, he was shy but now his really come out of his shell I get lots of updates during the day to tell me what he has been up to and the facilities are amazing and clean, the food menu is fantastic, my little boy is lactose intolerant and they always cater for him. By far one of the best nurseries!

The staff have so much time for the children and are amazing within all aspects of what they achieve with the children.. they go above and beyond. The meals provided are amazing and I can leave my daughter at nursery knowing she is safe and happily enjoying her day! In looking for a nursery, I wouldn’t recommend any other than this nursery for your child.

The staff are lovely and very experienced and knowledgeable, and the facilities are excellent. We were very impressed by the wide range of meals provided and the fact that every allergy was catered for and taken seriously. Another worry of ours was whether our son would get enough 1-2-1 attention and how the staff would handle the fact that he is very difficult to get to sleep! We needn't have worried as they all have so much time for him and take as much time as needed to get him to sleep. He has very quickly formed a close attachment to his key worker and the nursery manager and that's all we can ask for. I am very pleased we chose this nursery for our son.

This is an amazingly set out nursery. The staff are amazing in every aspect. Great family support in continuing your child's routine and bringing your child on. I could n’t recommend this nursery enough, they go above and beyond and the bond all the staff have with my boy amazes me every day. I always feel close to my baby with the family app and can see what he has been up to through the day.

The “family” app with pictures and videos really helps to reassure us during the day. The children all look attended to and happy. I can't speak highly enough of how flexible, attentive and responsive the staff have been to our needs and requests. Highly recommended!

The facilities and all the lovely toys are just simply lovely as are all the staff that care for my daughter. Thank you.

I'm a very anxious mum but I have no worries when they are there. Both my children go here, one of the age of two the other eleven months. It is a FANTASTIC place. My youngest has severe allergies and they are so good at accommodating them it's unreal!

My daughter has been attending this nursery from their opening and loves it. I hadn’t needed childcare until she was two so it was a very hard process for us as a family, choosing the right place where we all felt confident and happy. The manager and staff were so supportive in helping me feel comfortable leaving her and were fantastic supporting her in the transition too. It has fantastic play facilities and the staff create great, playful and learning activities for the children too. She has made lots of friends and her development is enriched by attending this nursery. I would 100% recommend, it’s a great nursery to send your children.

I was nervous about moving my daughters nursery originally but after meeting the manager and the team those nerves soon went. My daughter hasn’t just settled, she’s blossomed in her new surroundings!

The nursery is clean, even after messy play! They offer well balanced food and take the children’s opinions of the food seriously. They care for each and every child. When my daughter started, she’d had a set back with her potty training. Within weeks she was going to the toilet! She’s come out of her shell and really enjoys spending time at the nursery.

There’s an app which I can follow her progress and message the staff during the day, to which I always get a speedy response. I can’t recommend this nursery enough. They have been so supportive and any other children we have will be going to this nursery also.

I recently started my little girl at Dockside Day Nursery. Previously she was with her Nan daily as I work full time. Dockside Day Nursery have been amazing, they have catered for my specific needs with child care and timings and have been very supportive with my little girl's training and development. The things she has learnt so far are brilliant, every day she has done something new and every day she surprises me with her progress.

At first, I was a little worried about putting her in nursery as she was a little unsure about others and quite nervous. She is now blossoming thanks to the nursery and she has made lots of friends that she talks about all the time. The nursery team are brilliant and I couldn't fault anything they are doing. My little one loves it here and I am so happy with everything about the nursery. I am glad this is the nursery we decided on.

My 3-year-old daughter has been attending Dockside since September and absolutely loves it! We were a bit apprehensive but we didn't need to worry as the staff are just wonderful! They have made Elsie feel so welcome and part of the "family" she loves going to her new nursery and literally runs to get there as she is so excited!

I highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for somewhere that genuinely care about your child and encourages and nurtures them.
