Chestnut Nursery School @ The Maples

We will miss you, thank you!

Our son spent two wonderful years at Chestnut Nursery School at The Maples, and we have nothing but praise for the experience. He loved the nurturing environment and the dedicated teachers, and he made many friends who are now with him in school. Over those two years, we watched him grow from a baby into a confident little boy, developing his vocabulary, numeracy, and social skills. The teachers did a fantastic job preparing him for reception, and he's now thriving in his new school. Their care and support also helped him overcome his shyness. We couldn't have asked for a better start to his early education, and we highly recommend The Maples to any parent.

Thank you so much to everyone at Chestnut Nursery The Maples for all they have done for my child. Despite issues with funding, they were unendingly encouraging and engaged with his additional needs, providing resources and interventions in line with his Education, Health and Care Plan. My child made real bonds with the staff at the nursery, and so did we! They have all been so supportive and caring towards him, and we will miss everyone a huge amount.

My daughter joined this nursery from May 2023 in the baby room. It's been almost a year and the development and progress I have seen in her has amazed me. She has made many friends and her communication skills have significantly improved from when she first started. I cannot thank her teachers enough at the Maples. It is all due to their perseverance and hard work that has helped my daughter so much. I look forward to seeing her future development and the staff really are special.

Choosing a nursery for my second child was easy as I knew that she will attend the same nursery like our first son. The staff is very helpful and supportive, they show great care for the children. The nursery is well resourced, clean and safe.

My son started at Maples in January 2021 (during Covid) in baby room then transitioned to Toddler room and then to Pre-school room. He loved it and learned a lot during the years. He has become a very confident, talkative and curious kid. The staff and management was always helpful in any aspects, they made sure to teach him that some of the food he can not have like others due to allergies. Both inside the rooms and outside in the gardens there are plenty of opportunities to do and play with. It is the best nursery in our area!

My twins attended The Maples for 2 years and were in every day of the week. They moved from another nursery because for months they were struggling to settle in over there. This has been the best decision I could make for my twins. They settled in straight away and got on with the staff amazingly. The level of care and attention in this facility is fantastic. Throughout their time at the nursery, I was always kept informed and kept in the loop with all the progress and learning. The staff is amazing at handling all situations and were always very approachable. There was a lot of communication. My twins always looked forward to going in and that made me very comfortable. It was like sending them to a second home. I am very pleased that The Maples was a part of my children’s first and very important steps and cannot recommend it enough.

What can I say! The girls at this nursery are incredible. Both of my boys attended over the last couple of years, and they have grown into perfect little people, one of which is already in big school, and my other transitioning this September, with the help of the nursery staff they were, and are fully prepared for their next chapters. Will miss seeing everyone’s happy faces in the mornings. Good luck girls. Thanks for everything and I'm sure we’ll see you out and about sometime.

My son joined Chestnut Nursery School @ The Maples in their baby room and progressed through the toddler room into the pre-school. My son was loved and nurtured throughout this time. He built close relationships with staff in each room. The staff are caring and considerate, the management and room leaders are flexible and supportive. I'm glad my son attended this nursery and I am happy with the progress he has made.

My daughter started nursery in September 2022. Ever since enrolling my kid, I’ve seen many improvements. This place is wonderful. Very clean and very welcoming. The staff is amazing, very professional with so much heart and caring mindset. I would recommend this place to everyone with little ones.

Chestnut Nursery School @ The Maples is a great nursery. My son only went to pre-school there since September 2022. Although he took a while to settle down and never really spoke much while at the Nursery, he would come home and tell us all about his day. He enjoyed going to Nursery and loved all the staff who looked after him and would pray for them (and the friends he had made) every night at bedtime. He grew in confidence and learnt so much. The staff would update us about his progress almost every day and the newsletters and regular updates on Parent Zone was very helpful information. I would definitely recommend the Maples to anyone looking for a safe, friendly and educationally sound Nursery.

Our little one has been going to the nursery for quite some time and we absolutely love it, and so does he! He loves the staff, he has learnt so many things and he's well taken care of. There have been a couple of instances where we perhaps disagreed with the actions taken at the nursery, but we've always addressed them and the manager and the rest of the staff have been open to communication and supportive, keen to solve the issue and ensure both parties are happy and the child's needs are covered.

Chestnut Nursery School @ The Maples is really good! My son loves going there and loves the staff there. The staff are amazing and always give feedback on how my son is going so I am aware of his progress. The security of the nursery is good as well, therefore I never have to worry about my son's safety while he is there.

My son goes to the Maples Chestnut nursery 4 days a week and really has a good time. Staff are caring, friendly and cooperative, tell us about how the child napped/how long, what they ate, how they behaved and where they played. They take good care of them - making all Mums and Dads feel comfortable.

Great nursery, my daughter absolutely loves it, staff are super friendly and make you the parent as well as the child feel comfortable. They take any concerns you have about your child on board and respond well with emails and calls. My daughter absolutely loves her preschool teachers, shout out to them as well as the manager who's very helpful with any information needed. The nursery is well-maintained, clean and safe. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The teachers are all amazing. I am extremely happy with the education given at this nursery. My son is one of the best pupils in his class and I'm sure he achieved that with the start of his education at Maples. Thank you for all you do/did for my kids.

This nursery has an excellent setting. Safe, professional and caring environment. My daughter was attending the nursery for 3 years. She loved it. I am happy with my daughter's progress and preparation for school. Professional and friendly nurses and the manager is always happy to help. This nursery is one of the best in the area.
