The Lodge Day Nursery

I have taken my son to the stay and play a few times, the nursery where it is held is beautiful, plenty of outside space and activities, inside also plenty of space and lovely toys. Toilet and changing area is well kept and is perfect for small children everything within reach and even a changing station for smaller children. Also, space for children and adults to hang bags and coats. Staff are friendly, helpful and all around warm people, parking spaces available, stroller/pushchair shed, bus stop nearby. Security doors in place, sign in sheet and garden has a high fence, lovely and safe.

I wanted to take the time to write a truly heartfelt thank you to everyone. My child found nursery extremely difficult for quite a while, as leaving Mummy was a real wrench. I never thought he would actually allow himself to enjoy it and worried I was doing the wrong thing. But because of your positive encouragement and patient demeanours, I saw it through. Last week has marked such a turning point for us, my child looked at the building as we pulled up and shouted “Oh Nursery, hooray!” To hear him talk so happily about the place quite simply warms our hearts. I wanted to let you know the good you are all doing for my son, & how much we believe you are helping him grow and develop. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being kind, patient, caring and helping him reach his potential. If you can make someone as stubborn as my child fall in love with nursery, then it really is a special place to be! Thank you all once again, we definitely made the right choice with Lodge Day Nursery!

I have already recommended the nursery to others and I cannot recommend the nursery more. We are delighted with how happy our little boy is there and at how he has developed since he started there 9 months ago.

The staff are amazing, really caring & spend lots of time ensuring they really understand the children and bond with them. I went into the nursery for a play and stay session recently. It was lovely to see what my daughter gets up to during the day. I was amazed how calm and well behaved the children all were, especially at meal time. I recommended the nursery to a friend and they loved it too. Their little one joins soon.

Such a wonderful nursery! My child has attended The Lodge since she was 9 months old and how they have helped her develop is fantastic - she comes home having learnt something new every day. She has connected with the staff really well and always looks forward to seeing her Key Person. We love the daily photos, videos and updates which really helps put our mind to rest when at work. We would really highly recommend The Lodge to anyone.

An excellent range of activities for the children. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. They give excellent feedback about your child's learning/activities throughout the day and I would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

The Lodge is a wonderful nursery. Returning to work full time was a big decision, however, seeing the care and attention our son gets from the amazing staff is truly excellent and made it so much easier for me to cope with. He settled so quickly (from 11 months) and was soon eager to start each day. The food is outstanding and provides him with way better choices than he’d ever get at home! The trips out and outdoor time look fabulous and the video clips and photos really help to make you feel part of their day. We love it and thoroughly recommend it.

Our child has been attending here since 7 months old and has formed excellent relationships with all the staff. Staff are kind, caring and knowledgeable and have created a lovely welcoming environment. I have recommended this nursery to friends and family.
