Highfield and Brookham Nursery

Brookham is the most nurturing, caring and happy environment. The youngest of my three children is lucky enough to experience it and it has had such a positive impact on him. The nursery is completely on my team and I feel like we are in it together, in raising my child to be polite, happy, independent, confident and academically able.

This is my second son to have attended Brookham Nursery and like his big brother, he couldn't be happier. The nursery is such a kind and nurturing environment, with lots of opportunity to play and equal opportunities to learn. Even at just turned 3 years old, the children are learning ballet, Spanish, music and regularly attending forest school. The nursery keep us informed every step of the way, with regular feedback, opportunities to get involved, and more formal parents evenings. I couldn't recommend the nursery more highly. The facilities are excellent, especially the new nursery building, which means all 3 classes from 2 years until 4 years, can be accommodated next to each other, with plenty of space. The staff and kind and caring, and seem to know just how to bring out the best in each child.

A special school. Great outdoor facilities, and the staff are great. The communication is good, and they are flexible, which is a bonus. Our child is always happy to go to school and comes out with a smile on their face. We fully recommend the school and its activities.

A really fantastic nursery. I can't recommend it enough. All the teachers are so nurturing, supportive and caring, and they have created a genuinely friendly and happy environment for all the children.

We moved our youngest son from his existing nursery to this one for the last few weeks of term. He settled in so quickly and absolutely loved his time here. He particularly enjoyed the extensive outside space, the new opportunities that he was given - taking his bike to school and going on long bike rides, a wide range of sports, the delicious lunches, the lovely teachers and the feeling of greater independence. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for an exciting and creative curriculum with plenty of time outdoors.

We have been delighted with our daughter’s learning and development progress during her time at Brookham. It is a nursery we would recommend to all parents who are looking for a preschool which properly focuses on the education of the child, whilst enabling lots of fun along the learning path. The impressive facilities, beautiful grounds, capable and caring staff all make a very special place where children thrive and have fun. Any issues are quickly managed and followed up on, and communication between the nursery and parents is excellent. It provides a solid preparation route for school, especially for those children like our daughter who will be old in her school year at nearly five. She’s loved her time at Brookham and we would like to thank the staff for their dedication and hard work into making the nursery such a wonderful setting.

An absolutely fantastic nursery with brilliant staff in a beautiful setting. There is a clear structure to each day and a huge range of activities including Forest School and Spanish that the kids do weekly. We could not be happier with our choice to send our kids here.

Brookham nursery provides the most magical start for any child to begin their education. It's a kind, nurturing environment with amazing facilities and wonderful staff. We feel very fortunate to have found it.

I can’t rate the nursery highly enough. My son was quite a little monkey when he started and yet they welcomed him with nothing but kindness and support and love. Since he started he has learnt so much and absolutely adores it. The facilities and opportunities for the children are amazing - forest school with marshmallows is quite a highlight, as is music (my son greets the teacher like a rock star when we see him- totally star struck!). The staff are so warm and kind and friendly. I just wish we’d known about it for my older two (I would have moved out of London earlier for them to attend!)

This is a truly fantastic nursery in a great setting. My son absolutely loved it and really thrived there. The head of the nursery team and her team are so incredibly welcoming and nurturing and have an excellent approach with play led learning. He was outside ALL the time, normally in full waterproofs when needed!

Brookham Nursery is incredible. We have only just moved to the area but my son has settled incredibly well thanks to the excellent teaching staff. The facilities are amazing. We are very happy. I would recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful environment for young children, small groups, good ratio teaching staff to children. Excellent grounds and facilities, good healthy and varied food. Kind and loving environment. Our son looks forward to going to school every morning.

Super friendly staff and excellent facilities - my son settled in very quickly and loves going. I like that they do all the same extra activities as the rest of Brookham with the subject-specific teachers.

Brookham Nursery is the most wonderful haven for young children, the staff are amazing and the children get to experience endless different activities and have the most incredible opportunities. All children are extremely happy and we all feel very lucky to have found such a fabulous nursery to give our children the best possible experience we could hope for as they start their education journey.

Very considering and kind staff. Always accepting of child’s needs. Plenty of activities and designated nursery playground. Children also benefit from the rest of school ground, like doing forest school.
