Highfield and Brookham Nursery

We are absolutely delighted with Brookham Nursery. It has exceeded our expectations in every respect. The environment is warm, caring and thoughtfully structured, and the team is consistently attentive and professional. Most importantly, our daughter has thrived-she is happy, confident, and genuinely enjoys going in every day. We feel very fortunate to be part of the Brookham community and would highly recommend it.

The nursery is a wonderful, nurturing environment for young children. Beautiful playground and forest school, engaging teachers, top facilities, great variety of curriculum and activities. Lovely male and female teachers that nurture strong relationships with children and parents.

Both our girls have been very settled and happy at the nursery. The staff are especially brilliant. We are so pleased to have found Brookham, this has been superior to other local nurseries we have tried. The swimming and gymnastics have both been popular with our two.

Brookham has the most nurturing nursery and I could not speak more highly of it. The staff are fantastic - I can't even single any out because my son loves them all. The range of facilities are so impressive esp the new play area. The fact that the nursery children also get access to the prep school facilities puts it steps ahead of other local nurseries: Forest school, swimming, dining hall, sports facilities, theatre, Spanish, music are all done onsite usually school staff, and are easily and safely accessible to the kids. I love that the children spend so much time learning in nature - so important to their development. It's also lovely that the children get to interact so frequently with the older children - it makes the transition to reception seamless but also builds their communication and confidence. We love Brookham nursery!

Our son is very happy at Nursery. The range of activities on offer and the opportunities for learning are incredible. We love how attentive the nursery staff are to the individual needs of the children and you can really see the skills that they teach reflected in the children outside of school. Our son has been treated with consideration from the very first day and as parents we feel very comfortable that he is well cared for.

Both of my children have been lucky enough to attend Brookham's nursery, and it's been an incredible experience for each of them. The staff are wonderful, the facilities are better than any other nursery we've visited, and the activities, from forest school to swimming, from Spanish to gymnastics, are really outstanding. It's a very special place.

The nursery at Highfield & Brookham provided an excellent start to our daughter's school life. It meant a seamless transition into Reception. She was prepared in every way, providing her with a stable foundation for 'big school'. We couldn't be happier.

Absolutely fabulous experience for my daughter. She settled in so well and absolutely loves going into nursery. The staff are caring and communicative and I feel very reassured leaving my daughter in their care.

I can't wait for my other daughter to join soon.

Most importantly, our child is always happy, excited to go in the morning, and comes home full of stories about their day. That kind of joy and comfort says everything. We're so grateful for the warm, nurturing environment the team has created

The staff and facilities are wonderful. She is greeted each morning by a friendly face and everywhere is so tidy and organised. She has really benefitted from all of the specialist teaching, including swimming lessons on site, PE, music and forest school. We could not ask for better preparation for Reception.

The Brookham nursery is absolutely stellar. The staff are fantastic, the facilities (both indoor and outdoor) are maintained to a very high standard and provide lots of variety for the children to play and learn. The daily specialist subjects are brilliant at giving the children additional skill like swimming, forest school and games. I feel that any child attending Brookham's nursery couldn't have better or more rounded care at a nursery, it is exceptional.

A great nursery for our children to grow and flourish. Amazing opportunities and use of all school facilities for such a young age. All the Nursery staff are excellent and know every child individually. Our daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at pre school and will be very well prepared for starting reception in September ..

Wonderful nursery! Wonderful staff, good communication, every care taken and so much effort put into the childrens' enrichment, developing their curiosity and skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Weekly swimming also a big positive, as were the annual Christmas and Sports Days where even the littlies take part. Our daughter joined Brookham nursery having previously attended 2 other local nurseries after I returned to work and I can confidently say Brookham stands in a class of its own! Transition to Reception was also seamless, again so much effort put in to making the children happy and confident about moving up, we had no issues at all. Couldn't have asked for a better start.

Impossible to find a more loving, nurturing, adventurous, inclusive and most importantly kind environment for your children to start their school careers. We struck gold when we found the nursery at Highfield and brookham and count our lucky stars our children are so well cared for by such wonderful staff. Incredible.

We moved to Highfield and Brookham nursery last year and we are so pleased we did. The staff have been superb, class teachers and management, and the space and facilities are brilliant - our son has settled in so quickly and loves going every day. They learn in a fun and engaging way and get a lot of outdoor time as well.

A really excellent nursery- my child is very happy there. He participates in a wide variety of activities, including forest school and swimming every week, and has a super bond with his key workers, as well as the other teachers and children within the setting. They are so lucky to be on huge school grounds and have access to wider school facilities.

A wonderful, nurturing and happy environment. The children are encouraged to explore their interests and learn in a holistic and child centric way. The facilities and activities offered are just fantastic and we love the focus of outdoor learning and exploring.

Brookham nursery is the most wonderful nursery I have ever experienced. The staff are so caring and nurturing and invest so much in understanding and developing each and every child. My twin boys run into nursery so happy everyday. The facilities are phenomenal, with swimming, forest school, baking, gymnastics, outdoor playgrounds, mud kitchens, music lessons and so much more. It is so comforting dropping my children off in such a fantastic environment where learning is encouraged in so many exciting ways. My boys are absolutely thriving thanks to Brookham.
