My little boy is currently there and he absolutely loves it. My eldest son also went there too, and he always says he wants to go visit Monkey Nursery which is so lovely to hear. I always tell my friends about the nursery whenever they are looking for one, cannot recommend it enough.

She even calls the names of the staff and her friends at home which is so lovely and reassuring.

My daughter who has just turned 4 has attended this nursery since she was 10 months old and she absolutely loves it! We couldn’t be any happier with the care, education, and support provided from the nursery and it’s wonderful staff. It feels like one big family, the staff are amazing, approachable, nurturing and always smiling and going out of their way to help with anything anyone needs. When you walk in, you can see how much the children adore the staff and how much the staff adore them. It’s always clean and tidy and the resources provided are great! I highly recommend this nursery and give it 10/10. I know my daughter will greatly miss it when she leaves for big school.

It is such a privilege to have children go through their early year's education with us but it is also very sad when they do leave to go to big school. You should update your website, some of the qualified staff are not working there and now some of the current staff are not trained enough to look after children and many more which I can't explain in one simple review. If you try to point out your opinion or mistakes they turn around and roll their eyes instead of coming up with a solution. Not enough experience in staff and I don't see the passion in working with children. My opinion. My child was supposed to have a two-year review and he didn't have it. My child didn't learn anything apart from the education that he received at home. We did not have a good experience and maybe was a sign to move my child from there.

I am sorry that your experience at the nursery did not meet your expectations. Our website is currently being rebranded by our head office and so we didn’t update it in February with details of staff changes. However we have taken your feedback on board and it now shows the current staffing team, including staff who are on maternity leave. In our reception area, we have photos and short biographies of all staff which is updated on a weekly basis and on a daily basis and we have a display board at the entrance of the nursery There are strict rules set by Ofsted around staffing ratios and qualifications that all nurseries must meet and we have always fulfilled these standards. All children must have a 2 year review that takes place between 26 to 36 months. We need enough observations to complete this accurately, so a child who has been in our setting for a shorter period of time will have the review towards the end of this timeframe. I apologise if this hasn’t been communicated to you.

The Nursery has implemented measures and systems due to the pandemic, so there is a lot sanitising/cleaning, no day trips etc. Teachers and management are friendly and helpful. I get a daily detailed report on my little one every day she is there, with pictures of her taking part in various activities. It's wonderful to know and see what she's been doing at school, and I can then talk to her about specific things she has done when we get home. Our 19-month-old son is developing by leaps and bounds ever since he joined Monkey Puzzle back in November last year. He is looking forward to going to nursery every single time and leaves it always happy and quite often a bit tired. Tiredness being a consequence of his complete immersion in playing and learning. We thought that nursery had a very good vibe to it from the first visit but did not dream of how good it will be. What we see for three days a week with the little one is on par with my older daughter's total enjoyment of attending a very well run Montessori preschool nursery, few years back. Highly recommended.

He started Monkey Puzzle at 8 months old, I was very anxious but they reassured me that my baby boy would be just fine and made me feel at ease. His key worker has been a vital part of my son’s care and he absolutely loves her. I can’t thank her and the team enough for the amazing work they do. I couldn't have found a more perfect nursery for my son to attend. Monkey Puzzle has a genuine family feel and you have all made us feel so welcome from the very first day. The facilities are outstanding and the activities my son gets to partake in mean he is so excited to go in each day. He has been thoroughly supported in his learning and the progress he has made over the time he has been there is truly exceptional. Ryan is a lead safeguarding officer and oversees special educational needs, behaviour management, health & safety and equal opportunities across the nursery.
