I have had two children at Monkey Puzzle, accumulating 5 years of experience with this amazing nursery. My children are very different to one another and both received the best structure, education, care and love they needed. The staff here is extremely dedicated to the well-being and growth of each child and the manager runs the nursery in an exceptional manner. My children love going in, and even on hard days when they don't, the staff ensures they are well received and they come home happy. Having seen other nurseries, I can say with confidence this one cares not only for the children but for the parents and all the family. It runs smoothly, with great communication and top management. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Thank you Monkey Puzzle!

Both kids loved their time at Monkey Puzzle, had lovely relationships with their key workers and we will miss the nursery very much now that my youngest has started primary school.

My oldest has just left Monkey Puzzle after three years there. We have been delighted by the care he received. He was happy to go in each day, and he would come out with a beaming smile. He loved the teachers and enjoyed all the extracurricular activities - the French, football and active classes. We have sent our second to the nursery and she is very happy in the baby room.

My daughter has just left Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery after about two and a half/three years of being there. We have been so happy with the care and support she has been given in all of the ‘rooms’ she has been in. The activities and learning in preschool have been really impressive. We have loved all the extra-curricular activities too, such as the French and football lessons; and seeing what my daughter is doing through the app is an added bonus. We also love the fact they have their own library for the kids to attend. My daughter has loved her time there and we are going to miss all the staff enormously.

I reviewed this nursery three years ago but my son is now about to leave to start school, having been there since he was a baby, and my daughter before him. From getting them to nap as babies to potty training them as toddlers to teaching them their letters, they have supported my children through every stage of their early years. The staff are wonderful and have created an environment that is both nurturing and professional. They care for each individual child and do so much to help them develop their social and personal skills. The children are able to play and have fun in a calm and well-organised environment that prioritises their safety and well-being. The learning in the preschool has been of an extremely high standard and the staff work so hard to get the children school-ready and excited about learning. It really is a fantastic nursery and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

The staff at Monkey Puzzle Borehamwood are exceptional. Not only do they do a wonderful job looking after my child but they are so caring and always go that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. My child comes home with the biggest smile on his face and walks in every morning so happy and excited. I was really nervous as this was their second nursery in only a year but the move went so smoothly and I had nothing to worry about at all. Highly recommend sending your children here. I am extremely happy with Monkey Puzzle Borehamwood and I would highly recommend this nursery. The management team is very professional, approachable and efficient. Staff are lovely and very prepared - they are creative and always finding new activities for the kids - they are also very kind with kids and it is clear that they do what they love! The hours are amazing for parents/carers who work full time and the location is very convenient since it is next to the train station. The outside space is fine and the indoors is very clean and organised. I am also very happy with the pre-school curriculum and the clear communication received from the team.

The nursery is also great for working parents, with very convenient hours and is open pretty much year round.

The Monkey Puzzle Borehamwood team have given both my boys the most fun and most loving environment during their time there. From day one every member of staff has shown their dedication in understanding their personalities and what makes them happy, and most of all showed them the most amount of love and care.

The activities are varied and endless, there is something for everyone, whilst implementing some structure and rules to the day - a perfect mix!

Such a fantastic nursery - loving, caring, excellent management and communication. My 2 children were so happy there and thrived, and are now doing really well at school after their excellent nursery foundations.

My children have been at the nursery for 2 and a half years and we/they have been so happy. The management team are great, and both of my daughters have had key workers who have helped enormously with their development and general well-being. We didn't encounter a single member of staff in our time there who didn't seem to genuinely love what they do and the children in their care. We have moved away from the area and it was a really sad day to leave Monkey Puzzle Borehamwood. Would highly recommend it.

I have had both eldest two children at Monkey Puzzle from the ages of 9 months up until my second just left for school at 4 years old. I can’t recommend this nursery enough. The staff are amazing, they really care for the children and prepare them so well for big school. The facilities are great and they are very flexible with any changes I need in terms of days or hours. They have a great outdoor area for all the kids and I currently just started my baby in the baby room and I'm excited for him to grow more throughout all of the year groups. The manager and her team are amazing.

Our daughter has been at Monkey Puzzle for nearly 18 months now and we would highly recommend it to other parents. She has attended full time since 9 months old, starting in the Babies room, then moving on to Tweenies and is now in Toddlers. Leaving our baby for the first time was a difficult hurdle to overcome but the staff at Monkey Puzzle made us feel at ease from day one. Each member of staff that we have come into contact with has been warm, kind and seem to be 100% committed to the children. Our daughter absolutely loves going in every day and always has lots of stories about her day to tell us when we pick her up. The activities are fun and stimulating and the facilities are fab - both indoor and outdoor. Special occasions are always celebrated inclusively and the children learn lots about celebrations from various cultures through these. Would highly recommend.

I put my daughter in Monkey Puzzle whilst I waited for a place at our first place nursery. I was so pleased with MP that I left her there. My daughter is so happy to go to nursery every day, the staff are fab with the kids and genuinely care and they all have so much fun. I’ve often watched through the door as they run about and do arts and crafts. They are very diligent with the updates at the end of the day also, I never leave without an update. Highly recommend.

The management of the nursery is excellent, and although the nursery has had a number of changes over the past year, it’s had a positive effect.

If a manager was always available in the evening then I would score better.
