The Butterfly Patch in Cobham provides excellent childcare to little ones aged 3 months to 5 years over 51 weeks of the year. Their long hours are suited to all families as it is open from 7:30am to 6:30pm, offering full days, AM and PM sessions.

They are a Cambridge Early Years Centre which strives to provide outstanding care and education for your little ones in their precious early years with the support from carefully selected, trained and passionate staff.

The Butterfly Patch consists of three rooms;

Glittering Glow Bugs for children aged 3 months to 2 years (with a separate sleep room)

Creative Caterpillars for children 2 to 3.5 years

Bouncing Butterflies for pre-school children

They have a free-flow garden for toddlers and a free-flow garden for pre-schoolers, as well as taking little ones on outings at least once a week.

During outings, they explore local amenities such as the florist, library and supermarkets, and also explore the woods and parks nearby.

The Butterfly Patch boasts a sensory room in which all the children can experience a mellow and intriguing atmosphere in small groups of 3 or 4 children.

This is a fantastic learning opportunity for children of all ages to explore using their senses. They also offer extracurricular activities such as a drama and dance class, karate and baby sensory.

Finally, a good grub programme ensures fresh, healthy brain food is offered to children each day.

I moved my daughter into Butterfly Patch from another nursery. She had been in the previous place for 9 months and was upset all day. She never spoke and being very loud and chatty at home, I knew it wasn't right.
When she joined Butterfly Patch, she completely changed, she became her own little person,
oozed confidence and was happy every day. She made great friends and loved all the staff working there.
I highly recommend Butterfly Patch, for their brilliant staff, caring attitude and flexibility.

My son has been at the nursery for 2 weeks and has settled in so well so quickly. The staff in the toddler room are so loving and caring with him and he loves them already. He has had so many opportunities over the two weeks he has been there and has experienced so many new things. I can’t fault them
at all. The staff seem to be like a family and all get on really well. I love receiving my daily diary to see what he has been up to and he looks so happy. He is excited to go in the mornings and is full of stories of things he has done. The manager knows all the children and is so kind and loving to them all. She is on the ball and responds to any questions by the end of the day. Thank you, Butterfly Patch, for making this so easy and for making my son so happy.

The Butterfly Patch, Cobham has looked after and cared for my son for the last 6 months. He is in Glittering Glowbugs room (babies).
Positives:
- Flexible and practical for working parents - if you are looking for a day nursery that is open very long hours and all year.
- very approachable, caring
and friendly staff who always open the door smiling at drop-off and pick-up.
- lots of messy activities and nice wooden toys.
- excellent communication - online logs and photos after every session.
- healthy, varied menu of hot food for all meals in the day.

Our daughter has been going to The Butterfly Patch in Cobham since the start of the new year (2019). We have been extremely happy with how the nursery has been looking after our daughter. We always look forward to the photo and description updates that we receive in the day while she's there and we
have also noticed that our daughter has become more confident with playing with other babies, which we believe is down to her time spent at the nursery. All in all, we are very happy with The Butterfly Patch.

I would recommend Butterfly Patch to all of my friends and have. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. My husband and I have had a number of issues with working commitments which has resulted in us changing our sons days and hours he attends nursery, this has never been an issue and they have been
very accommodating. My son's carers are exceptional and have helped with his development.
