The Butterfly Patch consists of three rooms;
Glittering Glow Bugs for children aged 3 months to 2 years (with a separate sleep room)
Creative Caterpillars for children 2 to 3.5 years
Bouncing Butterflies for pre-school children
They have a free-flow garden for toddlers and a free-flow garden for pre-schoolers, as well as taking little ones on outings at least once a week.
During outings, they explore local amenities such as the florist, library and supermarkets, and also explore the woods and parks nearby.
The Butterfly Patch boasts a sensory room in which all the children can experience a mellow and intriguing atmosphere in small groups of 3 or 4 children.
This is a fantastic learning opportunity for children of all ages to explore using their senses. They also offer extracurricular activities such as a drama and dance class, karate and baby sensory.
Finally, a good grub programme ensures fresh, healthy brain food is offered to children each day.

Thoroughly recommended. Genuinely caring staff, extremely professional and passionate about their jobs and their roles in a child's early learning years. We moved to the area (just over) two years ago, so we have experienced other day nursery setups and we are able to compare and see the difference. Our son learned a lot, he made friends and became more independent and had the best prep for school we could have asked for. We, as parents, have learned with him. It's been great to see the values and beliefs displayed on the nursery board applied in practice. Our son learned that not being able to get things right is only an opportunity to try again and that we learn and improve with every experience (he'll prompt me if I ever forget to see the glass as half full). Small outside space with everything needed to keep kids entertained, nursery trips are well thought through and add a lot to the learning journey. Regular themed days, charity mini-events and a lot more: truly inspirational childcare.

My son has been at the nursery for 2 weeks and has settled in so well so quickly. The staff in the toddler room are so loving and caring with him and he loves them already. He has had so many opportunities over the two weeks he has been there and has experienced so many new things. I can’t fault them at all. The staff seem to be like a family and all get on really well. I love receiving my daily diary to see what he has been up to and he looks so happy. He is excited to go in the mornings and is full of stories of things he has done. The manager knows all the children and is so kind and loving to them all. She is on the ball and responds to any questions by the end of the day. Thank you, Butterfly Patch, for making this so easy and for making my son so happy.

Our daughter has been going to The Butterfly Patch in Cobham since the start of the new year (2019). We have been extremely happy with how the nursery has been looking after our daughter. We always look forward to the photo and description updates that we receive in the day while she's there and we have also noticed that our daughter has become more confident with playing with other babies, which we believe is down to her time spent at the nursery.
