Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery West Norwood

Our son loves Monkey Puzzle West Norwood - he is so happy to go in every day, eats well, sleeps well and comes home talking about his favourite workers! He has thrived at the nursery, particularly since moving into the toddler room and his speech has come on brilliantly at 18 months. The staff are really approachable, open and always give a good handover at the end of the day. Thank you.

Our son started at Monkey Puzzle a few months ago and I've been so impressed with it so far. The staff are very professional but also so kind and lovely. It's always such a delight to collect him and hear about his day, and he absolutely loves his key worker. The building is also really spacious and both the climbing frame inside and outside look like great fun.

My daughter joined Money Puzzle Nursery in May 2025 and has loved it ever since. She runs excitedly into nursery every morning. Her development has also come on leaps and bounds since joining, walking and running more confidently and saying more and more words every day. When my daughter is not in nursery she's talks about her friends from her toddler room, which brings me so much joy. Overall I would highly recommend this nursery.

We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Monkey Puzzle! From day one, the staff have been very welcoming to both us and our daughter and she has settled in so well over the past few months. I feel like they have gotten to know her personality and are very attentive, and she always has big smiles for them when we drop her off and pick her up. We also really appreciate the regular contact via the app - we get regular reports on her development as well as day to day updates with pictures which we look forward to. Overall there's a really warm and positive vibe and our daughter seems to be thriving!

Choosing a nursery is never an easy task! I was very apprehensive about sending my daughter off for the first time. I had looked at many nurseries in the area and Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery West Norwood stood out high amongst the rest. The staff and nursery director always show a very high level of knowledge and care towards my daughter and other children. Their daily programs and activities go above and beyond the basics that you would expect and so many important life skills are taught to the children through play and various activities throughout each day. We had many concerns during this Covid-19 phase, however the nursery director and her team were continually on hand to reassure us and have manged this whole process smoothly, with minimal disruption to the children and continue to do so. I highly recommend this nursery.

My son has flourished since his time at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery West Norwood. He is visibly a more confident child and looks forward to going each day. The on-site facilities are brilliant and management and staff are caring and always their best to deal with any queries. I have been particularly impressed with the steps put in place for the management of Covid-19 to ensure children, staff and parents are kept safe. If you are looking for a nursery place, I cannot recommend the owners and their team enough!

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery West Norwood has a fantastic and dedicated team, they clearly consider what our little one is interested in and how to help him develop and play across all areas. He's got loads better with eating more foods and they do cooking with them. His reading has come on. They also do loads of other stuff like yoga and dance. Drop off is fine and we get lovely little smiles when he spots his new friends! There is a lovely mini-lending library. I've found them helpful with any questions, even if my questions seem a bit silly sometimes. We're getting on top of toilet training now and they have been so helpful there too.

I love this place! The staff, environment, activities, everything is faultless.

My daughter absolutely loves it here. Food is amazingly healthy and great, children are being given a variety of organics and homemade food. The nursery accommodates children with special dietary requirements. In addition to their five-star meals, children have access to a climbing wall, get extra activities. i.e. yoga and Spanish lessons. There is a warm atmosphere, staff are AMAZING, WELCOMING, DEDICATED. They help parents who are in a hurry to get to work (basically do your drop-offs and pick-ups, they do the rest for you). Children learn through play, each Wednesday they are allowed to bring something in from home and talk about it. Parents can track the menu of the day and how much your child ate throughout the day in addition to their daily/weekly activities. The director is a lovely, dedicated mother who has a high standard in children’s early development. The preschool staff members are wonderful. I highly recommend this nursery.

As a working parent with a child, care for my child is of the highest importance to me. Finding a suitable nursery in SE area was a long search until I have visited the newly open Monkey Days Nursery, West Norwood. The staff are polite, informative about my child's daily activities. The nursery is colourful and very child-friendly, the set up is excellent for a child development at first hand and now it more apparent. This is demonstrated through my child's development since attending this nursery.

We have chosen to send our daughter to Monkey Puzzle West Norwood as it clearly has the right ethos and level of expertise at its core. We have been shocked by some nurseries we visited and were so relieved to find Monkey Puzzle West Norwood. The thoughtful design and planning, resources, care plans, staff, outdoor space and more mean that we feel our daughter will get the very best of care and early years education.

Looked at loads of nurseries in the area and we both think this is by miles the best for our son. We really like the space - pretty amazing climbing wall painted like a jungle (never seen anything like this before!!). Very friendly staff, lots of experience.

Our 18-month-old daughter absolutely loves it here. The staff are super friendly and caring and the nursery itself is really impressive. We've never had any tears and our daughter can't wait to get there in the mornings! We'd looked at a few nurseries and had already started with a childminder when we met the team. We knew instantly that this was the right place for us so finished with the childminder and got her a place... and we have absolutely no regrets at all. The organisation and level of care is terrific and it's wonderful to be able to go to work, knowing our child is properly cared for. Would definitely recommend.

The staff are warm, welcoming and full of fun and the facilities are on a different level to our old nursery. Being in an old fire station couldn’t be better as far as my son is concerned.
