King's Hawford offers outstanding nursery care to pre-school children aged 2-4. Situated in a beautiful rural location, the nursery offers flexible sessions between 7:45 and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Often described as 'one big happy family,' Hawford children thrive in a warm and nurturing nursery environment. The rural home-from-home setting ensures young children gain the stability needed to develop confidence and independence as the school journey starts.

Kindergarten children experience the whole range of opportunities that Hawford has to offer. Whether it’s caring for the chickens and birds, regular swimming sessions in the indoor heated pool, adventures in the extensive forest school, or taking part in exciting musical sessions, there really is something for everyone.

I could not be happier with the care my daughter receives at Kings Hawford. The staff are amazing and will do all they can to support my daughter in all areas of learning. I know she has had the best start to school when she starts in September. She loves swimming and learning German, she even gets
to do trampolining! I am so thankful to all the staff.

Hawford Nursery is everything you could ever wish for; caring, nurturing, an environment in which your child thrives. The staff go above and beyond, they can't do enough for you and your child. We are so lucky to have this provision. I would not hesitate to fully endorse and recommend.

Kindergarten at King's Hawford was the best decision I made for my daughter.
The level of care for her is outstanding with kind, friendly and approachable staff.
The facilities and activities are vast including forest school, swimming and of course the red library bus!
My daughter thrives from being

I would highly recommend King's Hawford Nursery. The staff are brilliant with our daughter. They get to use all the ‘big’ schools facilities to give her the best day every day she’s at nursery. From swimming to forest school, to soft play or PE in the barn, stories on their double-decker bus or picnics
in the teepee! Just brilliant!

Excellent nursery! Both of my children went. Couldn’t fault in any way. The staff are amazing, the facilities are second to none and the activities on offer are above expectations for this age. Wouldn’t want my children in any other setting.

Hawford Nursery is a fantastic place which my three children have attended over the last seven years. The staff are amazing and the children love every day there. The outdoor facilities are very extensive and a real highlight. I have always felt that my children were safe and extremely well cared for
and I would thoroughly recommend Hawford.

I couldn't rate this nursery more highly. We made the decision to switch my little boy to King's Nursery when he turned 2 and we haven't looked back. He loves attending and we know he partakes in lots of different activities and has fun whilst he is there. The staff are brilliant and the grounds and

Kings Hawford Kindergarten offers such a wide variety of activities and facilities but most of all the care, attention and nurturing nature of each and every one of the staff is exceptional. Both my children have enjoyed the setting and really benefited from going there. As a parent the school also
takes a lot of time to engage and communicate with us to be keep us involved. It’s both a fun and safe place; everything a parent and preschooler could hope for.

What a magical Kindergarten! We have been thrilled with King’s Hawford over the last 18 months, choosing to send both our girls here. The environment is so nurturing and welcoming, the teachers are incredibly can-do and friendly, and the activities include things like forest school and swimming. I love
the free-roaming chickens within the grounds and that ‘the great outdoors’ plays a large role in the offering. Thank you King’s - we are delighted with the way it’s run!

My daughter absolutely thrives at Kindergarten King’s Hawford. Her confidence has blossomed, and she comes out every day with a huge smile, telling me all about her day! The opportunities that the children have there are incredible; from Forest school to Swimming, The big red Library Bus- and my daughter's
favourite- Shake Rattle and Groove.
The staff are brilliant and really attentive and cater to the children’s individual needs. My daughter only started in September, but it feels like they have known and cared for her much longer and I can’t wait to see her progress further over this coming year! Thank you!

I could not ask for any more from the staff at King’s Hawford Kindergarten. My daughter found nursery of any kind very daunting but the staff at King’s went out of their way to work with me to accommodate her and make her feel welcomed. Covid brought new challenges and I was afraid the staff would need
to be too far removed from the children but they dealt with it as they always do; putting the children’s interests first and still providing the warm welcoming environment whilst implementing new safety measures. All the staff know the children and their needs like the back of their hands and speak about all of them with such affection. I know my child couldn’t be in safer hands. She loves every day.

The nursery offers a safe environment with friendly staff and lots of fun, educational activities. They live by the ethos that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes and spend lots of time outside. The forest school is one of my son's favourite activities and his highlight of the week
but swimming, Shake Rattle and Groove and Rugby Tots are also fantastic activities that bring a bit of structure to the week and help to expand children's interests. The staff are attentive to children's individual needs and responsive to parents. A fantastic place for the little explorers.

Fantastic school. Can't thank them enough for the support they offered our son during his time there. So sad that he couldn't stay there when started school. We miss the staff very much! If your child likes to learn, be busy, be outdoors and swim, this is the school for you!

Quite possibly wonderful!
Staff are extremely attentive towards the children, interacting with them. There are incredible outdoor activities for the children along with opportunities to go off the school grounds on lovely trips or simply enjoy everything that available on the school grounds - playing
on the bark, forest school, lots of baking, indoor and outdoor activities, swimming and interactive storytelling fun and more.
There was fantastic feedback throughout my child’s time in kindergarten like parents evening, progress reposts which had beautiful photos in of my child’s progress. I highly recommend, some of the best early years of my child’s life. Thank you Kings Hawford Nursery.

We have used this nursery for the last 4 years. Our two children have passed through and we will be sad to leave it behind. We have dropped our children here daily with the confidence to know they will have a great time do well throughout activities to ensure they are engaged and have fun whilst learning.
They have grown on confidence and feel safe and are very happy. I would recommend this as a nursery that gives that extra special something and really understands individual children and what it is to be a child. Thank you. xx

The staff at KIng's Hawford are so welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. Out child was settled into nursery very quickly there and loves going. The facilities and opportunities are fantastic, swimming, forest school and music on a weekly basis. The daily hot sinners and afternoon tea is also
a frim hit with our child. We couldn't imagine sending our child anywhere else now. Thank you.
