My daughter absolutely loves attending Kids Planet Apley nursery. The staff are incredibly caring, patient and dedicated to her development. the environment is warm, safe and full of engaging activities that encourage learning and creativity. I have seen such positive growth in her confidence and social
skills since she started, especially in communication as English language is not our first language.
The communication with parents is fantastic, and I always feel informed about her progress.
Overall, we are having really positive experience with the nursery and I would definitely recommend it for other parents.

The staff at Kids Planet Apley are brilliant and so supportive. My son has been attending for nearly 2 years now and it has been amazing to watch him progress physically and verbally which I think is down to the care and effort shown by the staff. Nursery has had a positive impact on my son in terms
of his development and confidence and we consistently receive regular updates on his progress. It is so difficult for a working mom to feel comfortable leaving your children however they make it so much easier by creating such a safe and happy environment.

The staff at Kids Planet Apley are not only incredible kind and welcoming. They strive for our children's greatness and learning. My son has come out of his shell an immense amount since being apart of Kids Planet Apley. I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else.
The manager is incredible with a great

My son has been part of the nursery now for 3 years: when he first started I was so anxious, he was a covid baby and just didn't seem to want to interact with others. I cannot speak more highly about this nursery, from the first day to now, they have always put the needs of my child first. He has a
variety of activities to participate in, made some friends with his peers and staff and is so excited to attend everyday. The food has been excellent and varied too and if I have concerns his keyworker listens and provides support.
As a teacher, I am so happy I sent my son here and will be doing the same for my newborn. The nursery is a friendly, caring environment and staff are exceptional in every aspect. Thank you for providing my son with some of the best years here and for putting an anxious mother at ease.

My little boy has been there for a few months now and I cannot believe how much he has come on!
The bond he has created with the girls in the room is so lovely to see.
He absolutely loves going to nursery & loves all the activities they plan for each day!
My favourite is the updates on the app &
how you can keep in contact with your little one throughout the day to make sure they are okay.

My son started with Kids Planet Apley in May. He has a few additional needs, and the team have been absolutely brilliant with him. I was very nervous about leaving my son but they put my mind at ease every drop off. If he's upset they calm him down quickly and always call me to reassure me that he's
now happy. They set our activities that they know he will join in with. The girls always cater to his needs and he learns new things every session! The SENCO of the nursery is absolutely amazing. She and the girls combined have done assessments on my son and sent off relevant documents to the professionals involved in his development. They put together an EIP for him within 2 weeks of him starting.
The bond that my son has with the girls is fantastic and gets stronger every session. They let him come to them and don't crowd him or make him feel overwhelmed. I know that he is safe and loved in their care. They go above and beyond for my son and for that, we are truly grateful!

My daughter has been attending Kids Planet Apley since December 2023. Since the minute she started her physical, mental and verbal progress has been astounding. The staff are wonderful and so caring towards my daughter and I look forward to picking her up at the end of the day and having a chat about
the day she's had. The manager and assistant manager of the nursery are very friendly and helpful and I'm confident that they even have lovely interactions with my daughter and care about her as an individual. I'm always really pleased with how much time my daughter spends outside and the varied activities that take place throughout the day. The breakfast can be repetitive with just cereal offered however I'm always impressed by the lunchtime meals and my daughter actually eats far better at nursery than she does at home! Overall I highly recommend Kids Planet Apley as value for money, caring staff and supporting children's development. In future I'd like to see a sensory room as another nursery in the group has.

I've got good experience with Kids Planet. My boy is being taken care of. I was initially worried he's not going to adapt easily with the nursery, but they made him feel at home. Again, it's nice to get constant updates about your kid. I would recommend Apley Kids Planet to anyone.

My daughter has been attending Kids Planet Apley since January and I could not be happier with the progress she has made! She is so happy here and the staff go above and beyond to ensure children are provided with stimulating and engaging activities, she is given nurture and the independence to take

Kids went to nursery previously and were happy, settled and working towards their milestones such as walking, talking and discovering their own independence incredible.
Kids did leave for a period and to compare the ability of staff and level of care between Kids Planet Apley and the other nursery
they attended - Apley are hands down better and since returning both kids are thriving.

My son started Nursery here in September 2023 at 7 months old, all the staff have been so lovely and caring even under all the pressure they went through during new management changes but have made it through to the other side. They do not get enough credit! They always communicate well and my son settled
right in, transitioning up rooms went so smoothly too. I intend for my next child to also attend here.

We have sent our son to this nursery for some time now and have always been impressed by the family feel and the incredible staff. Unfortunately, since Kids Planet took over the nursery this year, there have been a number of changes. The family feel has diminished, there has been significant turnover
of office staff and the communication is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Changes are being imposed on parents, including increasing 'full year' attendance from 51 weeks to 52 weeks. I suspect the majority of parents will not be sending their children to nursery between Christmas and New Year, so to have to pay an additional week's worth of full fees (when there will no doubt be reduced staffing) is extremely disappointing. We have also received notification of a 20% fee increase for 2024, despite there presumably being significant economies of scale from being part of a large group. It is not surprising to read that the group announced a £3.6 million annual profit last year...

My daughter was absent for 2 days from preschool.
No contact home - policy states that a call home is made on the days of absence.
I asked why this wasn't done and was told by office staff that the preschool leader is not up to date with Kids Planet Apley policies. This is frightening that staff
do not know how to work within the policies they are contracted to.
Also shows poor management as lists of registers go to management.
High turnover of staff throughout entire daughter's placement. Nearly 2 years.

All three of our boys have/are attending Kids Planet Apley. Our eldest started in preschool and always loved attending. He still talks about his nursery experiences now (which I think speaks volumes). We currently have two boys attending who started from the baby room. We can’t thank the staff enough
for all of their love and care. They are all very supportive and have become just like family. The boys love attending nursery which make drop offs much easier. They are offered a range of experiences within the provision both inside and outside. All three boys love the outdoors and Apley provides great opportunities for this. When planning the activities they take into account the individual interests and offer learning opportunities to support this. As a family we couldn’t imagine sending the boys anywhere else! Thank you to everyone for all of your continued hard work in creating wonderful early years memories for our boys. We will be forever grateful.

Our son started the nursery September 2022 in the baby room and since then he has come along so well, it's been amazing to watch him grow. The staff in the baby room are absolutely amazing and were so accommodating to our routine, it made us feel more comfortable leaving him there at first. They really
made our first experience of leaving our son perfectly. He is now in Tots and the staff are amazing! He absolutely loves his days at nursery, it's lovely to see. Our child started here in April and so far we are very happy with this nursery. Our other child went to two separate nurseries in Telford and both of which ended up with bad Ofsted reports. We feel Apley are very good with communication, food, activities and staff. We are very happy with our child attending
this nursery.

I currently have two children in preschool who both started when they were six months old.
We have loved each room and will be forever grateful for the hard work from the staff and the memories they have created. The care they deliver to the children is exceptional. I have no doubt that when I drop
them off they will have a fun filled day full of enrichment.
They are nurtured and supported. Their interests valued and incorporated into daily activities and their achievements are celebrated.
We will be sad when the day comes to say our final goodbye because it’s such a brilliant nursery. But, I believe the journey through this nursery has prepared them perfectly for their next step into school.

My name is Holly, and I am the Nursery Manager.
I am the manager at Kids Planet Apley. I have a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood Studies where I have also gained 5 years of experience working from an early-year practitioner to room leader, deputy manager and now Manager!


I am very passionate about creating an enriching environment for children that will support and encourage their development. I have had lots of experience within preschool rooms to ensure that children prepare for the school transition and leave nursery the most confident little human they can be! I care highly about wellbeing and will give my all to support those around me, children, parents and staff members. I aim to make this nursery the most homely and nurturing place it can be!
