Amazing nursery. I highly recommend. The staff our amazing and my child absolutely loves it there. He has been there since 6 months old. Manager is brilliant. His key person has taken him under her wing to make sure he is settled and all needs are met.

Beyond Outstanding! We genuinely can't thank this place enough for what they have done for our son in such a short space of time. Since starting here, he has come on leaps and bounds within all stages of his development. Every single one of the staff here are simply amazing. There is such a warm, caring,
family feel here, from day 1 they made us feel so welcome. The difference in his speech and language has been unbelievable. Without a doubt it's because of the caring, positive and happy vibe they all bring here. The activities they have are very creative and stimulating, which has greatly developed his learning and ability to focus. They go on many outings and exciting adventures and just have lots and lots of fun, which to us is what it should be about. We just love seeing how happy he is to go and how much he is thriving there. The patience and support they give is above and beyond and nothing is ever too much trouble for us or our son, Thank you for everything we will always be grateful

Fantastic nursery. Staff go above and beyond and are all so kind. It's not easy having to leave your child so you can go to work, but it really puts your mind at ease knowing they are being cared for by such a lovely team - wouldn't send my child anywhere else.

My son's only been going here for a couple of months and already he's settling in so well. At first, I was a bit nervous obviously leaving him. But now he loves going there. The staff are so caring and reassuring. He comes home with all sorts of pictures and paintings that he's done there. Also, the
picture update throughout the day he's there just makes me so happy to see he's learning and making friends. The meals he eats are outstanding and he enjoys every one. I highly recommend this nursery 100%.

Amazing nursery. I can't fault it. My child seems to love it. Always happy to go and always happy when I pick them up. The staff are lovely and friendly. They always let me know how my child has been on pick up.

Fantastic nursery cared for my three children over the years. Different managers over the years and different staff but never has it once affected the care given to my children. They say it takes a village to raise a child and Butterfly Lodge staff, past and present, have been my village through rough

My son has attended Butterfly Lodge since the baby room and is now in toddlers. The management and staff have made a conscious effort to make sure my child's needs are met and that he gets the most out of the time he is there. Nothing is ever too much for all the staff and offer extra reassurance on
days that hes not 100%.
I have seen a noticeable positive change in his development since attending nursery.
I get frequent updates on his day to let me know what activities hes taken part in and what he's eaten.
There are regular learning stories shared with me informing me of what milestones my child is achieving in the birth-five matters framework.
My son is happy and thriving when attending Butterfly Lodge. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The activities he takes part in are fun and creative and encourage learning and language. My son loves being outdoors and visiting new places, Butterfly Lodge offers local visits to a range of places.

Brilliant nursery! My little boy has attended since he was 6 months old and has so much fun here. The staff are amazing and create lots of fun and educational activities for the children. They go on lots of trips out too, which my little one enjoys. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They follow
your child's routine and keep you well-informed about what your child has done throughout the day. I couldn't imagine sending him anywhere else. The care they provide is excellent. My child is becoming more confident and always looks so happy at nursery.

I've been scared to send my daughter to nursery, she was born during Covid so it's always been hard leaving her as she's very wary of new people.

All the days I pick my grandchild up he always has a smile on his face, and the staff are always helpful, saying how his day has gone. They inform me of the activities he has been doing, and what he has eaten that day,very helpful.

I couldn’t imagine my daughter going to any other nursery. It took a while for her to settle but every single member of staff was amazing with her, she now can’t wait to go. She looks so happy and relaxed when I pick her up and is becoming more confident by the day.

This nursery is outstanding! My 2 year old son has come on leaps and bounds since being here, they have even helped us potty train him! They work extremely hard and nothing is too much trouble EVER! I trust the nursery with my son's life! So much so that we are now putting our 1 yr old daughter in their
care starting in March.

I absolutely love Butterfly Lodge as does my little boy. We struggled finding a nursery until he came here and straight away he settled in. They keep me well informed of his activities and his progression and he has come out of his shell and is a real confident little boy. He has formed some great little
friendships and always looks forward to going and seeing his friends. He adores his key worker and the other workers in his room and they are always out and about doing different activities. All the staff are so approachable and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Both my children are at this nursery and love it. The staff are great with the children- welcoming, friendly and available for hugs and comforting words for any nervous or upset children! They keep me well informed of my children's progress and there always seems to be events on to help keep the children
interested. I couldn't be happier with how my children have settled there and know they will miss nursery when they leave!

I have two children that attend Butterfly Lodge Nursery.


I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.


The staff are excellent with the children and the management are very approachable and friendly.


Children receive three cooked meals a day by their own chef which are healthy and provide

the child with the goodness needed.


Both my children go on regular trips out and regularly play activities in the garden.


Couldn't recommend this nursery any more.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2016

I am the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Butterfly Lodge. I hold a Level 3 qualification as an Early Years Educator, and I am paediatric first aid qualified. My Early Years journey began in 2016 when I started as an apprentice before working my way up to Manager at the end of 2022. I have worked with all age ranges and love spending time in the rooms with the children.


I am known for my calm and friendly approach, and I place wellbeing at the heart of everything I do. I love to create awe-inspiring spaces for children to learn and develop, and I am passionate about empowering my team to do the same.


Outside of my role as Manager, I love spending time with my family and going for walks in the countryside.
