Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Fenny Stratford

My son started coming to Ashbourne in March, I was anxious at first as he was a lockdown baby so was unsure how he would find it but he loves it and has so much confidence with other adults and children. He has built some really strong relationships with the staff in the baby room and they are really helping him with his development. He always comes out at the end of the day happy which is great to see. I would definitely recommend it to other parents!

My son started in May with very little vocabulary, shy, and very clingy. The staff made us feel welcome and they have worked absolute wonders with our little boy. He absolutely loves going to nursery (even when he is not feeling his best) and his vocabulary is building so fast it seems each week he has at least 2 new words. He loves all the staff and I feel confident that he is well looked after and cared for, I cannot recommend highly enough for a caring environment for your child.

My little boy absolutely loves going to Ashbourne Day Nursery in Fenny Stratford. He is always so happy to see them every morning and when we collect him he's always in a happy mood. He is progressing so quickly in everything from crawling, chatting, building relationships, and just having fun. I would 100% recommend them to everyone, especially his key workers (besties). They always update me on his shenanigans of the day and I also really appreciate the care that goes into his dietary requirements so he's never looking to be different from his friends, there is just so much care and attention to detail they really are so fantastic.

My son has been coming here for a few months now and loves it. When I drop him off in the morning he is happy to go in, all the staff know him and he is happy to see them. When we collect him at the end of the day he is happy and we get a full rundown of what he did and what he ate etc. The staff are so lovely and really care about my son. He is cared for so well and loves his time at nursery.

My eldest daughter has been attending Ashbourne Nurseries for nearly two years now. Throughout this time she has been looked after by a brilliant team of committed and passionate staff at Ashbourne. She loves going to nursery and spending the day doing a wide range of activities has helped her development no end. The team in the caterpillars room leave me in no doubt that she will be cared for and looked after every minute she's there. The facilities on site are a lovely environment for the children to play in and the little one is given a wide-ranging offer of quality food throughout the week. I would recommend the nursery to anyone considering childcare in the area, the most important thing for any parent is knowing that their child is cared for and looked after. At Ashbourne, this is always the case.

My daughter attends the Fenny Stratford setting, where I have nothing but good things to say. As an only child at home, she doesn’t often get to spend time playing and socialising with children her own age. She was somewhat shy when she first started nursery in January 2020, but the staff soon helped her to find herself. Every day she asks if it’s a school day, she loves going. She talks to me about the fun teachers, and what an excellent time she has had with her friends. They have plenty of learning opportunities through play. The environment is safe and staff are friendly and caring. I have full confidence in them when I leave my little one in their care. Great learning place. I couldn’t have chosen a better nursery.

My son joined the Caterpillars in 2019. He is now in pre-school and he has loved nursery from day 1. He always goes in so happy and always very happy when picked up and excited to tell us about his day. Always having done something different every day. All the staff are wonderful with the children and all of their needs are met individually and are willing to adapt to what each child needs. The food in the nursery is great, it is so diverse and it is wonderful that my son gets to try so many different cuisines. One of his favourites is the Caribbean Chicken! I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery, their communication is spot on, and excellent that we can see regular updates through the portal where the observations are submitted. The main thing for us is our son is learning so much, every day comes home telling us something new and he enjoys going to see his lovely friends that he has made there too. The nursery is fantastic and all of the staff are lovely. When dropping off my son he is so happy to see the ladies and so are they. He has regular updates so that I can see his development and it’s nice that I can view these at any time. I would highly recommend the nursery and will be sad when he has to leave and go to school.

I would highly recommend Ashbourne Day Nursery at Fenny Stratford. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and welcoming to every child. Communication is something that has always been important to me when my son has attended a nursery setting and Ashbourne are excellent with this. Keyworkers always tell you what kind of day your child has had, from activities they have done, to what/how much they have had to eat. My little boy has enjoyed every day he has spent at Ashbourne. He's never once cried when I have dropped him off (he used to at his old nursery) and he always has a massive smile on his face when I pick him up and he tells me about the fun he has had that day. The activities/play areas get changed every day, so he is always excited to go in and explore these. I feel his confidence has grown since attending Ashbourne and they have played a big part of who he has become over the last year. He starts school in September and I am grateful he has had the opportunity to attend such a fantastic nursery.

My son has come on leaps and bounds and loved coming to nursery which makes it so much easier leaving him. He comes home with a huge smile on his face, covered in whatever activity he has been doing. A massive thank you from us all.

My daughter is always smiling when I pick her up and sometimes even cries because she does not want to leave. The facilities are amazing, the menu is very nutritious and the staff are great.

Our son loves Ashbourne, always excited to be there and his key worker and colleagues provide a wonderfully nurturing and fun environment.

Great staff, lovely and fun environment. The activities are changed every day so the kids are learning a lot of things. At the end of the day, the staff provide detailed daily feedback. My baby is only nine months old and she needs a lot of attention but I'm confident to leave her there. Thanks for everything that you do for my baby.

My children have been going to the nursery for over a year and they have flourished. They love it and all the staff are so friendly, you can tell they genuinely care about the children. I love the fact that there isn't loads of children in the room so my children get more one on one time.

My son is currently in the baby room upstairs, it is a lovely warm and clean environment with smiley friendly staff. The food is great, balanced and healthy. They take on board any suggestions or feedback promptly. The team are always professional and pleased to help or answer any questions. The manager has been a great person to contact and always responds to emails quickly. Also, a particular member of staff in the baby room is a credit to the team and is a fantastic key worker for our son. As the baby room is upstairs and isn't easily accessible to the outdoor space, we did worry, but the staff do make the effort when the weather is nice to take the children from upstairs down to enjoy the outdoor area also. We love the nursery and are currently in the process of starting our youngest son. Although we haven't experienced the older rooms, if the baby room is anything to go by, it is highly recommended. Thank you for providing a lovely place for my children to come and develop, learn and play.

Extremely happy with Ashbourne nursery. My daughter enjoys her time at nursery a lot. Staff are extremely kind.

My son started here when he was 10 months old and now is 15 months. Although he only attends 2 days a week he's come on in leaps and bounds since he started.

I get a daily record of what things he's specifically enjoyed that day and what he's eaten. On top of that, I get regular updates and photos through the parent portal which is really nice to receive when I'm at work.

The staff are amazing! Everyone is always so friendly and professional. I feel like I can really trust the staff with my son. They are always prepared to listen or to work with you to find a solution.

I have also been very impressed with how clean and tidy the nursery is.

My daughter absolutely loves this nursery. She has come such a long what and she will continue to stay here until school.

Staff are very helpful and extremely friendly. If only the parents had a choice to provide their own lunch but overall, it's lovely and my child is having a great time.
