HappyWoods Nursery provides childcare and education for children from the age of three months to five years. Open weekdays between 7:30am and 6pm, the nursery strives to provide children with the best start in life, supporting them to develop confidence, independence and knowledge before they enter into full-time education.

Children are cared for by dedicated, qualified Early Years practitioners that work in a stimulating and supportive environment where their unique qualities are nurtured and encouraged. The nursery has a full time Chef, providing freshly prepared meals each day. The nursery has 2 large gardens where children can spend time exploring and playing in the nursery’s outdoor area.

The nursery provides daily extra curricular activities in Spanish, Yoga, Cooking, Forest School and regular outings will be taking place from September 2024.

Activities at the nursery follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and children can participate in Spanish classes and musical activities for further enrichment.

Funding & Fees

The nursery fees will depend on the number of days you choose to do at the nursery with a minimum booking pattern of 2 full days. Cost will vary depending on your funding entitlement as per September 2024 new goverment guidelines.


30 hours childcare is available to eligible working families of 3 and 4 year olds in England. This is an additional 15 hours on top of the 15 hours available to all parents of three and four year olds. Please call us to request pricing and availability.

My daughter has enjoyed her time at HappyWoods since day one. The staff is very caring and they are amazing and finding new ways to develop her knowledge. The nursery is always adding new resources and I can see always new activities. Thank you HappyWoods we will miss our nursery family.

My Daughter has been attending Happywoods for 7 months. She really enjoys it. They plan lots of activities, they are outside as much as possible and they all have lots of fun. My Daughter has learnt so much and especially enjoys learning Spanish songs.

I am the Nursery Manager for HappyWoods Nursery with a QTS Teacher Training status. I started almost 2 years ago at the nursery. I have been working in education all my life for the past 30 years, where I have been able to build strong ethos and values in Education environments for children.    


HappyWoods has a strong nursery team, that values and respects all of the children in our care with awe and wonder to promote rich learning experiences for all of the children in our care.
