HappyWoods Nursery (Heene Road)

To me and my husband was a great challenge to find the right place for our 10 month old son. After long search and never been satisfied, eventually we have heard about Happy Woods. When we went on our tour, we didn't have hesitation that this is the place. We liked it because of cosy and friendly atmosphere you can feel straight away. The environment is well equipped, carefully prepared, wide range of activities. All members of staff are always kind and welcoming. The manager is very responsive and always available to discuss any matters. My son built strong relationship with his teachers. He is happy at drop off times. Happy Woods is a happy place.

My daughter is attending Happy Woods nursery since February 2024. We couldn't find a better place for her to grow and learn continuously. The staff are very polite and helpful at all times. Some of management team always ready when needed. My daughter really enjoys coming to nursery and we see she has lots of fun.

Perfect place for my 3 old daughter where she is happy and safe. I like this nursery from the first moment I walk in. It has everything that a parent can wish and even more. My child loves all the teachers and she enjoys every activity, every game, every moment spent in the garden with her friends. I would recommend this nursery to every parent that wants to know his child happy and safe while he is at work.

I am very happy with the Happy woods nursery, all the stuff is very kind, gentle and pleasure with my child and with us. My child is looking forward to come back to nursery she really enjoys the environment.

The days involve a lot of interactive and varied play, including plenty of outdoor play in the well enclosed garden. The children have also been taken on mini-adventures such as a picnic, trips to the park and local shops.(Our son is in the pre-school section being 3yo)

We want to express our personal thanks to the deputy manager who has provided a warm and caring environment throughout our whole time at the nursery and has facilitated a positive experience for our children where they feel valued and celebrated.

My child is really happy at Happywoods. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, she has learnt a lot and really progressed. This nursery was the best by a mile from all the others we visited. Having both premises next door I think works really well. Am looking forward to her progressing in the preschool and in particular the day trips they will do. Staff and nursery manager are fantastic I know I can't name names but really happy with all!

After much searching for a nursery for my child, I can say that HappyWoods Nursery was the best I could find for my child. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and most importantly, my child is very happy in this place. They have a wonderful person, the manager. I highly recommend it.

Overall, it has been an excellent experience for our son and we will highly recommend to others.

HappyWoods Nursery is a wonderful nursery. My son started in September and he has grown so much in his confidence. The manager as well as the team are professional, friendly and supportive. The manager always responds to all emails, queries and is organised. I would highly recommend this nursery to all my friends.

Both my daughters have attended this wonderful nursery and are growing into wonderful little people with the help of the nurture and guidance given by the practitioners here. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter loves this nursery and so do I, I have recommended two of my friends and they are also happy with the standards of the nursery. I'm so glad I found this place, my daughter settled in really well and they teach through fun games, my daughter has improved in speaking drastically.

I am very pleased my daughter attends HappyWoods Nursery. She has settled in great and often talks about how much fun she's had throughout the day. She absolutely loves the staff there and feels confident around them. They have helped me alongside potty training my daughter and often give me tips on how to overcome certain stages in a child's life. I receive feedback often on her progress which is great and this is often done through the parents' app. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

Fantastic staff. Thoughtful activities and very caring. We are so grateful for the kindness that they show to our son. We have never been disappointed. Management has always been approachable and professional. They have been fundamental in the development of my son. His social skills, speech and confidence have improved and I have no doubt that HappyWoods Nursery has played a huge part in that.

My 14-month-old daughter started at HappyWoods Nursery in January 2019 and I am so pleased we chose this setting. She previously attended a nursery with separate baby and toddler provision but she was very unhappy there as she wasn’t stimulated enough. The staff are so kind and caring that she settled in really well and now loves going to nursery. I think having a mixed age group room works brilliantly and makes my daughter really confident in making new friends/playing with children of different ages.

Staff have been very understanding and supportive of our many phone calls and emails and have been very helpful in providing advice to us as first-time parents.

The garden is a really good size and they take the kids on visits to local places and also have people come in - my daughter loved meeting a policeman.

They update parents on progress using an app so you can see pictures and a description of what your child has been doing. We LOVE this!

Staff are very friendly. The nursery is very clean, the thing is, every child matters to them. Will definitely recommend this nursery to all the parents out there.

My child has enjoyed his time at Happy Woods Nursery since the first day he stepped in. He has been attending for over a year now and I cannot stop complimenting them for all their great and outstanding work. The team goes beyond to maximize your child's potential as well as targetting the areas they need help with and the results are amazing. They are very friendly which makes it easy for parents to raise any concerns or issues they might have. My child has learnt so much and even learning a different language! Spanish! The Nursery is very creative and an outstanding learning environment. Feedbacks are given on a daily basis when you pick your child up and you can clearly see they treat your child as their own which makes the nursery like a second home for them. They are loved and treated just like you would treat your child. The best Nursery choice I have made.

My daughter loves it here, she skips into the nursery twice a week. The staff really took their time with the settling in process which made me and my daughter happy in the knowledge that one size didn’t fit all and they treat my child as an individual with different needs and wants. They update me on her progress verbally and via an app. The outside area is great. Everyone who works there wants to be there, I had looked at other nurseries and some staff looked depressed! Also the food is great.

I have chosen this nursery because I like the fact that this is a small nursery so my child feels more comfortable within the nursery environment. All the staff are excellent with the care they provide for my child.
