Daisy Fays Nursery Chiverton Cross

The staff at Daisy Fays Chiverton have been absolutely excellent. Warm and welcoming each morning, always positive, inspiring small minds and incredibly professional. Both of my little ones had a really great experience here.

My little girl has not long started, but she has settled in so well, and this is because of the gentle and caring atmosphere. I know I can leave her for a morning of fun and games before picking her up for her to babble about her time at nursery all the way home!

Excellent nursery, the staff are fantastic and very caring. Both my children have thrived at Daisy Fays, so glad we chose this nursery. The staff are extremely diligent at times of illness. Good level of communication, children come out smiling every day.

My son has been at Daisy Fays Chiverton for 1 year now. He is excelling and I couldn't ask for better care and support. He settled well into the baby room with the love and care they provided and transitioned smoothly to toddlers with lots of routine settle sessions before turning 2. He continues to have lots of fun and it's always a joy to see what he has been up to. I highly recommend Daisy Fays Chiverton for any little ones who want to have fun and thrive.

The team are fabulous, my daughter loves going to nursery. The staff are genuinely interested in her needs and development. They do lots of different activities and she is learning lots every day whilst having fun. She enjoys the food. The hours are convenient. Our only issue is that it is so expensive, particularly now if we take a holiday we still have to pay the full fees.

The Manager her Nursery Practitioners and their teams are all brilliant. Both our girls absolutely love Daisy Fays. They play, paint and enjoy the outdoors. I walk away knowing they are in safe hands and they bounce into nursery and play and come out smiling. We don't go every day but when we have needed extra time they have been able to fit us in. Seeing my little girl transition from babies to toddlers and then effortlessly to pre-school this year and her baby sister fitting into chirpy chicks this year has been a joy. I feel so blessed we have this amazing nursery available and such lovely people looking after the girls when needed. Thank you so much for all you do.

We have been delighted with our experience with Daisy Fays Chiverton. Our little one started a few months ago and the team couldn't be more helpful in settling him in. He bonded quickly and has enjoyed attending every session. We have great communication and updates from the team so we always know how he is doing and what new activities he is enjoying. We have seen a positive impact on our little one from attending the nursery and it has been lovely to see him grow and develop.

Our one-year-old son started at Daisy Fays this month and we are so amazed at how well he has taken to it. It can be so daunting trying to settle someone so young into a new environment, but the staff have been great and it has made the transition so easy on all of us. Our son comes home so happy! It makes the day so much easier having an update on how he's getting on and also seeing a log of what he has been up to. Thank you so much!

My twins have just started at Daisy Fay Chiverton and they are loving it so far! It's only been a few weeks, but they come out crying because they don't want to leave and run in when they arrive! The staff are so kind and have made these first few weeks feel safe and made us as parents not scared with the first nursery stages!

Fantastic nursery with kind and caring staff who support the development of the children and go above and beyond to look after them. The children go in with enthusiasm which I think is a telling sign of how much they love it! Thank you for taking such good care of our children and helping to prepare them for school.

As our second daughter approaches the end of her time with the team at Daisy Fays Chiverton we can say only positive things about their kindness, care and the supportive environment the team create. Our daughter loves her time at nursery and looks forward to each day she is with the team. She bounds in with enthusiasm and comes out with stories to tell and a smile. On days she has been unsure the team have been kind and nurturing which has built her confidence and given us comfort. This mirrors our experiences with our older daughter. A massive thank you to all of the team for the care you have shown to both our girls. The indoor facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained, in a perfect world a bit more outdoor space would be ideal however with such a convenient location this would be difficult to find and the value the team brings far outweighs this small point. They have been flexible and professional in supporting a child with early food intolerance.

Our 2 daughters moved to Daisy Fays after unexpectedly and suddenly having to leave their previous nursery due to quite concerning circumstances. As parents we had lost trust in childcare providers and the girls were both unsettled by the sudden move. I cannot say enough how kind and supportive the Daisy Fays Team were when we moved to them. And since we have been delighted with how they have cared for our girls. All the staff are incredibly caring and kind. They make the nursery days fun and always provide a wide range of interesting and educational activities. Our girls always thoroughly enjoy the lunches and have often had "thirds" of whatever was on the menu. Both our girls have always come home happy after a nursery day. I only wish we had started them both at Daisy Fays to begin with! Thank you DF team

My daughter has been at Daisy Fays since she was 10 months old and will be leaving in August to go to school. She has loved her time at nursery and will miss seeing all of her friends and staff. All of the staff members have been wonderful, from the baby room through to preschool. My daughter's confidence has improved so much from the time spent there. I cannot praise everyone who works at Daisy Fays enough, for creating such a lovely welcoming, and friendly environment for the children (and parents!). It's lovely to see my daughter spending as much time outside as possible and being able to create some lovely crafts. Thank you for looking after our little girl so well!

My son loves being at nursery and a lot of this is due to the wonderful staff who create such a lovely place for the children to be. They are kind, creative and fun and when issues such as behaviour come up they are constructive and helpful. It's so reassuring to know my son is so well looked after and happy at nursery.

My little boy has been at nursery since he was 11 months old and is now getting ready for school. All of the staff at Daisy Fays Chiverton have been so supportive at every stage of my son's development, from learning to walk, and potty training and now helping him transition to school. The staff are always so helpful and communicative and I feel they genuinely care about the kids. My son loves going to nursery he always has a great time, he has built strong relationships with his key workers and they are always doing fun, stimulating activities. They have helped him develop confidence as well and supported him in dealing with different emotions. I always know he's well-fed and watered, and the lunches always sound delicious. I am very grateful for all the staff, I can go to work knowing my little one is being well looked after.

My son has special needs and I really cannot thank Daisy Fays enough for all they have done for him. They have helped him in so many ways and he always comes out with such a smile on his face. We are really looking forward to sending our daughter here in September.

My daughter is coming to the end of her time at nursery which makes me (and her) very sad but it's been an amazing journey for both of us! The staff are amazing, always willing to help and really friendly which always puts me at ease. My daughter loves anything to do with water, getting muddy, messy play and crafts and they always do plenty of these activities with her which makes her very happy and I love to hear the excitement in her stories about it when she gets home. Learning has been so much fun for my daughter at Chiverton, she's come on so much over time and that's all thanks to the hard-working team at Chiverton - thank you everyone for all that you do.

The team seems to offer a variety of activities and spend as much time outside with the children as possible which is really important to us.

Amazing staff who are clearly very passionate about the development of the children. To us as parents, you are doing a fantastic job of making sure that the nursery is a happy, fun and loving place for our children. We are hugely grateful. We get fantastic detail and feedback as to what our child has been up to each day. Despite it being a small site, I think you also manage the space fantastically well and the children are often outside getting fresh air which we think is great! Our child is extremely happy here and progressing amazingly, thank you.

Negatives... We understand the motivation, but we do think you are a little quick to fine parents on the late pick-ups - we've been late once by 5 minutes and didn't feel the level of fine was equal with the offence.

If you could find ways to get more outside space for kids and more variety of activities, that'd be amazing.

Fantastic nursery and team, cannot recommend highly enough. Very accommodating with my child's dietary restrictions and he loves the food provided. Very good at keeping me updated of what he has been up to and his development.
