Brightsparks Day Nursery and Preschool Eltham

My son has been at this nursery since he was 2 years old. He is now 3 years old and still goes to Brightsparks Day Nursery.

The environment both indoors and outdoors is incredible. The staff are so helpful. They always go above and beyond and I can NOT thank them enough for contributing so positively to my child's learning, development and happiness!

My daughter is very happy at the nursery. The staff are extremely good and have rectified any issues that we have come across.

I am very happy with the staff and the level of care they give to my son. My son just turned 3 and had never been away from me for more than 1 hour, and it was difficult to depart from me every time I would leave him at nursery. But I have noticed that the staff take good care of him when I drop him. My son didn’t want to have lunch and snacks at nursery when he first started but the staff were patient and knew how to change his mind after few sessions. He now eats all his lunch and snacks. They also have a daily report of what my child has done which is really good as we get to know what he has been up to and also a daily summary of what he ate. The staff do take the time to improve in areas where your child needs development and that is very important. Although my son still cries for the first 5 mins that I drop him he settles soon after and gets on role play with the staff. He comes home happy to tell me what he has been up to in nursery.

My son joined the nursery in May last year and literally loves it. They have great activities and the staff are lovely. The manager makes sure she works closely with the parents to ensure that we remain constantly happy.

Cons: Nursery not designed yet for pre-schoolers. Looking to see how it evolves in the future when there will be more kids. But for now, there are only 2 rooms with quite an age gap up to 2's.

A massive thank you to all the staff at Brightsparks Day Nursery, Eltham. My baby has been there now for nearly 6months and I am so impressed. Everyone in the Shootings Stars room is so encouraging!! Thank you so much! Going to work has been made so much easier knowing he is having so much fun xx

Brightsparks Nursery in Eltham is a wonderful place for a child to thrive. With my second son, I was very anxious to find the right Nursery given the fact that he hates to be separated from his mother and was not keen on being left alone with people he didn’t know. However, the Nursery manager was very understanding and accommodating in giving him enough time to settle and allocating a great key worker for him. She is absolutely fantastic with kids and we are blessed to have her and the rest of the team. What I like especially is the daily updates about my child and the online journals. The place is kept clean and tidy! I would very much recommend this Nursery to anyone nearby.

Very good nursery I will recommend this to other people to bring in their little ones. One of the best nursery in the area.

The staff at Brightsparks are extremely friendly, very easy to approach, always willing to answer any questions that I have had. They are amazing with my son and he absolutely loves it there. I can't express enough how lovely it is and I'm so glad I chose this nursery. I feel my son has learnt so much just from being here as they are always encouraging him to learn. The staff are always keeping parents updated on what the children are learning and activities that are happening on a weekly basis too. Highly recommended!

They don’t rush your child into settling in, they welcome the parent to stay as long as needed.

My daughter absolutely adores everybody at this nursery. The staff are very understanding and welcoming. I have never had any complaints since my daughter joined Brightsparks. The staff are very well organised and friendly and my daughter thoroughly enjoys herself.

Brightsparks were amazing at settling in my son. They took the time to make him feel comfortable. Really happy with the staff they are a great team. My son is talking more and growing in his abilities. I'm very happy with this nursery.

The staff is very helpful, the facilities are new and colourful. I truly believe I couldn´t have choosen better.

My son started nursery after being at home with me for 10 months. I was worried about the impact this would have on his routine, However, I was pleased to see how smooth the transition was thanks to the staff. My son is always happy to go to nursery. I have noticed that he is a lot more confident and he loves his key worker. I like the fact that I have access to his learning journals and I always receive a detailed handover of what he has done, eaten, drunk, etc... I am really pleased with my choice.

My two sons have been attending from when they opened and I've already seen a massive improvement in my son's speech who was behind with his speech. My eldest wakes up every morning asking to go to school and comes home telling me about his day and is so proud of himself. My youngest enjoys it too and it makes my day seeing the daily updates on the learning journals that gets emailed to me! Staff are lovely and always tell me what is happening in the nursery and about my kid's progress!

After I viewed the Eltham Brightsparks Nursery I knew I wanted my child to attend. The management have been very helpful and professional from the very first point of contact. The fees are very reasonable and there is a lot of flexibility for sessions. The nursery itself is a really wonderful and stimulating environment and I know my daughter will get lots of care and attention in a secure and safe place.

This nursery is just what we have been waiting for in this area. Really friendly, caring staff and beautifully kitted out new rooms and outside area. Very well organised and great communication between staff and parents too. Definitely recommend it.
