Busy Bees Charlton

My experience with this nursery has been amazing from the beginning. I contacted the nursery to arrange a viewing and the nursery manager was very welcoming and friendly. I was shown around by another member of staff and I was given the opportunity to ask as many questions as possible. I felt at ease with the whole process and knew my son would be happy there. I have had no issues since my son joined, he is happy and thriving very well.

Highly motivated caregivers who truly enjoy being around children and genuinely care about their wellbeing. My child feels like the daycare is an extension of her home and has made great friends along the way!

I am happy that my daughter attends this nursery. Our first days of visiting were fun but she also missed her mother and the teachers were able to interest her in games and entertainment. Now she walks with joy in the morning and is always in a good mood when I pick her up. I felt that she is developing well and learning many fairy tales and songs, all of which she is taught at Busy Bees. Thanks to the educators. One of the minus points is that my daughter does not always want to eat the food, or eats it in small quantities. We thank you for everything.

If you are looking for a caring, inclusive and diverse nursery, you've found it. The staff at Busy Bees are not just good, they are exceptional. I have sent my 2 kids - very different in terms of need and character - and both have thrived. True, the garden is not an acre but this is southeast London and what matters most is the care your kids receive as they start their journey to becoming their own person. I have not once regretted sending my 2 here and as we embark on the next chapter as a family we look back on their time with the Busy Bees Charlton team with gratitude and fondness.

I am proud of my child's achievements at Busy Bees, Charlton. She started as a baby at six months and now she's over three years and six months, still learning and progressing greatly. Very lovely and professional in your job, I mean all the staff at the nursery. I know when she leaves for school this September, she will be missed and the practitioners will miss her too. I look forward to continuing to encourage others to bring their child/children to this nursery because they are amazing and great with my child.

Both my children have attended the nursery since they were nine months old. My oldest is now three and a half. We moved while we were expecting the second baby and even though we are several miles further away, we chose to remain at the nursery because we love it so much. The staff clearly care about the boys and it is such a relief to see them run toward the staff for a hug when dropping them off. My older son has learned so much and is now confident with his numbers and shapes. We like that they also encourage so much outdoor play. We found several nurseries in London have very little outdoor space, but they do make the most of the space they have.

Both of my children have been part of the Busy Bees family since they were 9 months old. Their confidence, creativeness and independence has developed tremendously over their time. The team are truly passionate and caring and understands my children's needs and interests. My children run into nursery excited to be there each morning. I can't recommend them more highly.

Both daughters have loved attending Busy Bees in Charlton. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My son will be starting in July. It's a great family environment.

We could have not chosen a better nursery for our daughters to attend. Over the past 4 years, Busy Bees, Charlton has been a building block and trusted place for our kids. They happily go to nursery every single day and are keen to share all the amazing things they’ve learned. The staff, are kind and loving and attentive. We are very very happy parents.

Good senior leader, who works very well with parents and families. Overall the nursery is flexible and has a collaborative approach. Good opening hours, and good catering are prepared on-site with healthy food the children enjoy.

Management of this branch go above and beyond. It's always lovely to see the staff and overhear them talk about lesson plans and their exciting new ideas for the children. My daughter has been here since she was 8 months old and she's now turning 3. It's a wonderful environment. She thrives and it's tangible to see her language and social skills against others. Whilst the core service of the care for the children is fantastic, what I appreciate about this nursery is the effort the centre makes in communicating to parents and involving them in their child's life inside. It's an exceptional facility and I would be sure to try and get future children a place.

Our baby started here at 9 months. He settled in well and liked his key worker. The Manager is also excellent and very friendly, and we were pleased that the children were regularly out in the garden.

The pickup routines need to change (we could wait 30 minutes to collect him) and we found that our child was unfortunately often quite hungry, thirsty and very tired at the end of the day. We receive many more updates on the app of our new nursery, which we really appreciate. We didn’t know whether activities were provided in the baby room here.

I couldn't recommend Charlton Busy Bees enough. My son started at 9 months old. As first time parents we immediately felt very reassured leaving our little boy, and he also very quickly took to 5 days a week in nursery. Our son is now nearly 2 and he happily trots into nursery each day. He loves the practitioners and other staff, including running into their office to explore. We have also noticed how well his physical, verbal and emotional skills have developed, and Busy Bees will update you on how your child is progressing with observation updates on their app. Every evening a practitioner will update you on your child's day and take time to speak with you. During the pandemic we felt very safe leaving our son at Busy Bees. There were good measures in place to keep everyone safe and the staff were very vigilant when children showed signs of being unwell.

Excellent service - thank you. Patient and extra caring throughout settling in. Now my daughter loves nursery.

Our child has been with Busy Bees Charlton for a few months now, we immediately felt a part of the family the office team are amazing and made us feel welcome and relaxed, my wife was very anxious, and this changed within days when we started our settles with our little one. We called a few time and always heard a happy helpful voice on the other side to make us secure. My child attended here during lockdown (this nursery stayed open!) as we are keyworkers. Their procedures made us feel safe and secure knowing our little one was in safe, caring hands, thank you, everyone!

My son and daughter are in the nursery in different rooms. This place is fantastic. It's the 3rd nursery we've had experience with and definitely our favourite. They are so helpful in the office and there are too many carers to call out as they are all so lovely. Our children are learning so much there and as difficult as it is to leave them every day it's such a nice welcoming environment. I know they enjoy it.

We can see the positive impact that Busy Bees is having on our daughter's development. She is continuing to express herself in a variety of fashions which complements and blends incredibly well with the support and growth that we encourage at home.

We are happy with our nursery. My son likes it; he likes his key worker and other adults who look after him. He likes the PE session weekly and the lady who runs it. I feel safe leaving him in the morning. I'd always be contacted if anything happens during the day (which is a very rare occasion, but still). All staff are professional, caring and polite. They give informative feedback every day and on a termly basis a fuller one about our child's development. The manager is very nice and helpful. I'd definitely and happily recommend our nursery.

Busy Bees at Blackheath have been a godsend for our busy family. Our son loves the nursery and has improved in his ability to count and read steadily throughout his time. All of the staff are fantastic and always work towards the best for each child. Our daughter is already signed up!

My little one has become a happy confident little chap since joining.
