My daughter has been attending this nursery since November. Since starting all aspects of her development has improved, from speech and understanding to using a cup, (which she refused at home). Lots of different activities for all ages and great outside space. All staff are friendly and helpful, especially in mornings when my daughter gets upset for me leaving her. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone that wants peace of mind when leaving their children.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for the past eight months and she absolutely loves going. The teachers are wonderful, the manager helps with anything you need and they are there to help with my daughter. I recommend this nursery - absolutely wonderful.

It is very good childcare for working parents. I have been using the service for 4 years now. I am really satisfied with the care provided. Staff and management very nice, friendly, polite. They give children a lot of attention and love. Kids learn through interesting activities. There is a nice and safe outdoor play area, good variety of meals. My girls have been extremely happy to attend nursery. They got really attached to their favourite members of staff. Overall I highly recommend William Gladstone Childcare! Happy children = happy parents!

Always so polite, helpful and caring. Every day I walk through the doors of the nursery, morning and afternoon, the staff are always so helpful and caring. My son absolutely loves this nursery, he even speaks about it on a weekend. I highly recommend this nursery.
My children have been going to this nursery for nearly two years. They have both come on heaps since starting at the ages one and two, they’re always coming home happy and singing all the new songs they’ve learnt. I am very comfortable leaving my children at this nursery.
It's really important to me that my children enjoy their time around school and they love it here! There's a good range of activities available, freedom to interact with the other children and the staff. The team are approachable, friendly and responsive.

I've been using this service for a couple of years. My son loves going; he's there most mornings before school and several afternoons each week. The staff are friendly. The facilities are good. The outside play area is fun and safe. They have a reasonable variety of food for their afternoon tea, as well as a standard offering of cereal and toast for breakfast.
The afternoon tea is intended to be a light snack to keep the children going until they have a main meal with their families - The Menu is devised by the children's requests where possible.

Both of my children attend this day nursery. My youngest has been going since she was a baby and I feel so comfortable leaving her, she loves it and can’t wait every day to go. They have always fitted around my needs when I have changed my hours and days at work. The staff are currently teaching her to go to the toilet and have done a brilliant job in succeeding. They drop my eldest into school in the morning and pick her up for after-school club and it works perfectly for us all. Definitely recommend.

Meet the Team (5)
Davina has worked in childcare for 17 years and has been in the same employment for the whole time, She has a level 3 qualification in childcare starting as a nursery assistant and working her way up to manager which she has been for 9 years. Davina supports all staff within the setting and ensures its running appropriately, Davina is the designated safeguarding lead.
Rebecca has been working in childcare for 17 years since leaving school in 2003 as a modern apprentice. She is level 3 qualified and also has a level 3 in team leading and level 4 in management. Rebecca has worked her way up to deputy manager and has worked with the company for 19 months. she has experience with all age groups and works closely with the manager, she is the designated safeguarding lead in the manager's absence.
Luke started working with children in 2009 and he has a level 2 in play working, He then started working in a nursery full-time in 2010 and worked towards his NVQ level 3 in childcare. Luke has worked with the company since June 2017.
Agnes started working with children in 2002 she has an NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare and has worked in schools as a midday supervisor as well as worked in after-school and holiday clubs whilst doing her qualifications. Agnes has worked with the company since 2009 at the Meden Vale childcare setting but moved to William Gladstone in May 2018. Agnes works in the 2-3 years room.
Courtney qualified for NVQ level 3 in childcare in August 2019.
She began working at William Gladstone in November 2021
