My daughter has attended this nursery since she was a baby in the baby room and is now in preschool. She really loves her time there. The facilities are fantastic, very clean and spacious. The rooms are fully air-conditioned making it a nice environment in the summer. Staff are very friendly and I feel that they really care for the well-being and development of my daughter. The activities that the children do are very varied and fun and really stimulate development. The nursery manager is excellent and very responsive. I couldn't have hoped for a better nursery.

We were treated to a wonderful preschool graduation ceremony. It was colourful; the children were smart, confident and very entertaining. We thank the teachers and administrators for the preparations because it must have taken a lot of time and passion to put it together. We have a lot of beautiful memories to take away with us. Thank you so much Busy Bees Battersea Nursery and Pre-School!

Busy Bees Battersea Nursery and Pre-School is such a special nursery and a lot of that has to do with the staff and the head.
They go above and beyond to support, encourage and care for the children.

My daughter has so much fun there and always wants to stay more when I pick her up. I cannot think of a better place for my daughter to spend her days.

The staff were always warm and welcoming and the environment felt safe and nurturing for children. My daughter has a blast every day, making friends and developing new skills. I could see the dedication and care they put into each child's well-being. As a parent, myself, I understand the importance of finding the right place for your child and I highly recommend Busy Bees Battersea Nursery and Pre-School to other parents looking for quality childcare.

Both my children have attended the nursery for a combined period of five years. Our experience has been amazing! The teachers are absolutely dedicated to the children and care for them with so much love and kindness. The headteacher has always been accommodating to all our requests and has addressed all feedback we’ve raised. The facilities are clean and spacious and provide a stimulating environment for the kids’ development. Also, the food is of good quality and variety and both my little ones have loved the dishes they’ve been served.

Thank you to all the staff for showering our kids with love! We could never be thankful enough.

All the staff are so loving, positive and kind and really are like extended family with your child. the manager is amazing and is always available for the children and parents alike. My daughter started at Busy Bees, Battersea Nursery and Pre-School just after she turned 1 year old. She started in the babies/toddlers room. The induction was brilliant and supportive to not only my daughter but for myself. With the app you can see what your child has eaten, slept, nappies changed and photos. Staff take the time to get to know your child and give you a full report on their day when you pick up. The relationship they build is amazing and my daughter knows and trusts them as she is so happy to go in everyday! The activities are great and varied, from arts and crafts, singing, reading, independent play and group play. All staff at the nursery know the child even if they work in a different space. My daughter is moving up to the bigger classroom now and again an induction and transition period is taking place. The manager is outstanding, such a caring, thoughtful and thorough manager, she genuinely loves and cares for all the young ones there. The staff are outstanding and again care so much.

We are very lucky to have the manager and her team in our lives. Our three year old started nursery for the first time two months ago. He hadn’t had much interaction with other toddlers, plus getting him to have a proper meal was an every day struggle. I explained all this to the manager and she and the teachers are all amazing with both us and our son. We are being given daily detailed reports, which I can see is the case with the other parents. A very helpful app was also provided to use at home when spending time with our son and we are also being offered advise on how to help our son’s development at home. His eating is not an issue anymore. A big thank you to the manager and her team for loving and looking after the person we love most in the world.

The best! We love our nursery!
When I started looking, I was told to only look for nurseries that have Ofsted rating outstanding. Apparently, there are no nurseries like this near us, so I was ready to drive 40 mins every day to get my child the best care. Then my husband said that we should make our own opinion. Nothing impressed us until we came to “our” Battersea! The room for children under two was so spacious and full of light. It felt so fresh and new. We only had a positive feeling after visiting it. Finally, I was waiting outside the nursery at around 5 pm to ask other parents about their experience. Parents were all so positive and their kids were happy. Eventually, we signed up and haven’t regretted it for a second.
Our daughter joined being 9-months(now 14). When she wakes up in the morning, she goes straight to find her jacket and shoes to show she wants to go to Battersea. She absolutely loves it!

Oh yes, they also give delicious healthy meals to take away for dinner every day!

My son was only in this nursery for about a month despite having to take time off work to get him out urgently. I have written to Ofsted and the CEO of the nursery chain to express my concerns. Very poor.

We are sorry to hear that you have not been happy with your experience at our Battersea nursery. The nursery does follow all policies and procedures which are robust and follow advice from the head office team. The safety of our children and staff is very important to us.

Our daughter is so happy at Busy Bees, she loves her teachers/carers and can't wait to turn up at nursery in the mornings. The nursery is always clean and tidy and they take every measure to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Our daughter is incredibly polite and respectful and this is all thanks to the staff at Busy Bees. We couldn't be happier with the service they provide and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good nursery in the area.

My daughter spent 1.5 years at Busy Bees and had a wonderful experience at the school. As a parent, I found the school to be a happy place for our daughter to grow.
The teachers are warm and nurturing and put a lot of effort into preparing the children for school.
In the 6-months leading up to my daughter starting reception, the teachers really did prepare her beyond our expectation, and she left Busy Bees being able to write her name, count to 20, identify letters and numbers, which in my opinion, is quite impressive.
Our reception teacher was so impressed by her level of comprehension when she started school that I think it's given her the confidence to excel.

She loved her teachers and looked forward to playing with her friends there each day. Even if she was upset in the morning, the director was always there to comfort her alongside the teachers. As with the key teachers, the director has a lovely warm nature, and you can see that she genuinely cares for the children.

The Battersea Nursery and Pre-School is an excellent childcare centre for numerous reasons that have already been listed by the positive reviews below. The facilities provided are numerous and have definitely contributed to our child's accelerated personal development. He has been there from 3.5 months old and is now 15 months.

The nursery is one of the few, (if not the only facility) in the area that accommodates professional parents thanks to longer opening hours (0730 to 1830) that allow a parent to be able to drop off/pick up a child without having to sacrifice their work.

There was an issue with staff turnover previously, but the ship seems to have been steadied with the same familiar friendly faces over the last year. The current manager and senior team do an exceptional job of communicating regular updates and important information.

The staff here would be better suited if they actually liked children. They are indifferent, lazy and non-communicative. In the settling period, they complained about how long it took to change my baby’s nappy and him not eating, which was a shocking thing to complain about a one-year-old for. He was not assigned a key worker and because there was a lot of agency staff, he was never being cared for by anyone consistent. This is terrible for a baby room. I was repeatedly called 2 hours after drop off, asking to pick him up as he was upset, without them even trying to settle him. The manager ignores emails and is rude. After leaving here, he settled immediately at a much nicer nursery and they agreed he had been traumatised by his previous experience, but they persevered because that’s what professionalism is. Something completely absent here. And finally, they took over £400 in fees after we left and refused to return it for over a month, blaming head office for admin errors.

Reply from Chloe Wilkes, at Busy Bees Battersea Nursery and Pre-School

The staff are pleasant and hard-working, and the facilities are nice.

However, management of this nursery is poor and the staff turnover is high. There have been several managers in the last six months, with one only lasting a few days, the other a few weeks. Communication between senior management and parents is bad. Parents have grouped together to request group meetings to address complaints. To me, high staff turnover is a clear sign of poor management. The CEO is aware of ongoing issues but things have not improved. Instead of focusing on learning, or running fun activities/outings, there is a constant flow of poor feedback. I feel quite sorry for the good staff at this nursery and, most of all, for the children who have to deal with all the new faces.

This is an out of the ordinary nursery with unusual but extremely convenient features such as:
- Early drop-off and late pick-up included in the basic fees
- Take-home dinner! If your child is like mine (he loves to fill up the stomach at 7 pm again before bed), they provide you with a box!!!!
- Spare clothes!!! you don't have to worry about packing the back-bag
- Formula milk, wipes, nappies, barrier cream, bibs, baby bottles, ALL INCLUDED
- Online portal!!! an electronic record of everything your child's done on any given day! and you can comment on it too! They also upload pictures of them
- Indoor buggy parking area (no need to fold it, plenty of space)
- Complimentary tea and coffee for parents
- Flexible routines - they mirror whatever you've been doing at home! they're so good at keeping the individualism for each child
- French lessons on Thursdays!!!

- Parking bays at the doorstep!!

I could not be happier! I could not recommend this enough!! This is the best nursery ever!
