Michael Belsito joined Clifton Lodge School as the new Head in September 2022. He has a wealth of leadership experience from both the state and the independent sector, built over the past 25 years. Michael’s ethos and values are perfectly aligned with those of the school which he knows well, having started his teaching career at Clifton Lodge before eventually progressing to Deputy Academic Head.
Michael has since held a range of senior leadership roles across the state and independent sector including at Oldfield Primary School, and Fulham Prep School, and since 2014, has been the Deputy Head at North Ealing Primary.
These leadership experiences have afforded him the opportunity to lead in other areas of school life outside of the purely academic which has seen Michael assume the roles of Inclusion Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Mental Health Lead whilst at North Ealing Primary.
Michael strongly believes that communication and relationships with parents and staff are key to forging successful outcomes. He will continue to promote a culture where talents and abilities are nurtured, where children are taught that they should have an open mindset and where there are no limits to their dreams and aspirations.
