The early year's facilities are brilliant, especially the outdoor facilities, and both my children have developed hugely during even a short time at Breaside due to the variety of activities and learning methods used.
Outside of the classroom activities, my daughters have particularly enjoyed yoga, music and PE as well as the ad hoc activities such as theatre company visits and the science museum visits.
The staff are always extremely approachable and helpful and seem to really care about the children. This is particularly reassuring if you are a working parent utilising the wrap around care - breakfast and after school club

Qualifications@
NVQ level 3 in Children and Young Peoples workforce, and Paediatric First Aid.
I have been in Early Years education for 13 years now, working my way up from a Level 2 apprentice, then becoming a Kindergarten Room Leader which I have loved for the past 8 years. I recently had my second child, and after taking some time off the raise my daughter I have returned as the Early Years Lead that oversees both Kindergarten and Pre-Prep. I have experience in both year groups and use my breadth of knowledge to support our amazing Early Years team here at Breaside. Having the pleasure of watching the children grow throughout the Early Years, and then the school, is inspiring to see as this really is the foundation of their learning careers.
As well as Early Years Lead I am also the Early Years First Aid Coordinator and the EYDSL. I feel very privileged to have these additional roles as I get the opportunity to widen my development in different areas of the school.
NVQ Level 3, Paediatric First Aid.

I first started my career as a professional dancer and dance teacher and I have been teaching children aged 2-18yrs for almost 20yrs. Although, my teaching has been in the performing arts industry, my love for teaching children has always been a passion. Due to this, I decided to expand my knowledge and study for an NVQ Level 3 certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
I joined Breaside Preparatory school as Kindergarten Deputy Room Leader in 2024 and I like to incorporate my dance experience to bring a creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom in aspects such as art work and continuous provision. I enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the importance we have had on a child's growth and development. I believe that laying strong foundations in Early years, are the building blocks help all children reach their true potential.
I look forward to what the future holds for myself, my team and more importantly the Breaside pupils that enter our classroom doors each day.
