Little Wellies Day Nursery Baildon

My son came home from this nursery with 2 head injuries which the staff was unaware of and the following day bruising to his side appeared. Staff lied in witness statements which were proven by CCTV and owners tried covering these lies also. Luckily my son is okay after his injuries but it’s a scary thought to what could have happened. Emails from the nursery contradict what they are stating saying the room leader checked him thoroughly but she may have missed the marks?! He had a cut, scratch round to the back of his head, swelling to his ear and a lump on the opposite side of his forehead so if she had have checked him she couldn’t have missed it!

Excellent place for my child, every part of the nursery is set up and run brilliantly. The staff interaction with the children and parents is great, they are always seeking to do something different and making the environment as engaging as possible.

My little boy started at Little Wellies Day Nursery in 2019. He had the most incredible experience and is now halfway through his first year at school. We are constantly told how kind and caring he is, something which we put down to the time he spent at nursery. My little girl now attends and she absolutely loves it. The bond she has with the staff is incredible. They take the time to get to know each child - this is evident when looking at their learning journey. Regular feedback is provided and the staff put on open mornings several times throughout the year which are fantastic. It always feels like a home from home and is such a wonderful environment for any child to be in. I couldn’t recommend Little Wellies anymore- they are just fabulous!

A brilliant home-from-home childcare establishment. The new building offers even more space. Staff are hands-on with organising messy play, playing outside and writing lovely observations. We love all the staff, they work so hard and both of our daughters have felt very happy there.

I think Little Wellies is a truly fantastic nursery. All of the staff always pay attention to detail making sure my little one feels welcome from the moment she steps through the door. They are so thorough with their documentation which helps me know what she has been up to during the day! The staff are so friendly and happy and my daughter is progressing so well now she's started nursery.

Everyone in the rainbows room is amazing with my daughter. She used to be apprehensive about coming to nursery but since moving to the new building she has loved it. She asks to go to nursery every day and has a wonderful relationship with all the staff. They have been especially helpful in encouraging potty training with her. Would recommend Little Wellies to anyone.

Since my little girl started at Baildon I've always been beyond pleased with the care she had! All the girls are lovely always smiling and welcoming, and each session is something new and different!

We have been so impressed by Little Wellies over the last 18 months our daughter loves attending. Our daughter is quite fussy with her food which the staff at Little Wellies have helped and supported us with, by encouraging her to try different foods and creating a reward chart, which has been a great help. It is a lovely nurturing nursery and we are looking forward to when our youngest daughter joins.

My daughter started at Little Wellies last week, she is three almost four and was very settled in her old nursery (we have recently relocated) and so we were worried about how she was going to be in her new nursery. Well, there was no need to worry at all! After day one she was quickly closing her eyes at bedtime as she couldn't wait to go back the next day! She absolutely loves her key worker and talks about her all the time. We have been made to feel so welcome, the staff are lovely and tell you all about their day at pick up. Sounds like they have a jam-packed day of fun! Thank you Little Wellies for helping my little girl settle in so well and so quickly after our big move! The staff are brilliant and the office staff are lovely and very helpful too.

We felt welcomed from the moment we went to initially look round the nursery. There is a lovely homely, family feel to Little Wellies and my little boy has come on leaps and bounds since attending. The staff are fantastic. Thank you Little Wellies.

Little Wellies Idle is absolutely fantastic I could not recommend and thank them enough for the help and support they have given and are still giving to me and my child with learning difficulties, all the staff are so lovely!

Little Wellies is a fantastic nursery! All the staff are friendly and welcoming and my son loves his time there. The children do many fun activities and there is a great outside space for them to enjoy. The staff take the time to get to know each childs personality and what they enjoy or don't and I would not hesitate to recommend Little Wellies.

My son has attended Little Wellies Baildon for over two years and really enjoys it. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and the setting is a home from home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a well run, reasonably priced nursery who put children's needs first.

My son currently only attends one day a week but he has developed so much in a short space of time. He loves his time there, especially the food! Everyone knows what has been happening throughout the day and are all friendly and approachable.

The management have also been great with me as I’ve had to sort bits and bobs out due to transferring from a different nursery. Nothing has been too small for them to sort out.

Highly recommend the nursery.

A wonderful home from home place for my sons. My eldest who has left has so many fond memories of the place and the lovely staff. I have a four year old son who is currently attending and he loves his days at nursery, as well as all the different activities such as looking after the guinea pigs. As a mother, it’s so reassuring to know my sons are in a safe, homely and fun place that they both adore. I have also built bonds with the staff, the management and looking forward to my youngest starting at the end of the year. I also appreciate the owners who are always making improvements and investing in making the nursery a better place for the children.

Well, what can I say about Little Wellies? They're just perfect, my daughter started in Jan 2020 and she just loves it, the staff came to visit us at home so she knew them and we had various settling days until she was ready. She loves nursery and everyone, we go she puts her hand out for her bag and toddles in. As a parent, this is so reassuring that she goes in and finds it safe and fun. She has some lovely attachments to the staff and the videos they upload to the private group are just lovely. They help me see what she does at nursery and how she interacts with the staff and the other children. I highly recommend this nursery and I have recommended to my cousin whose little girl is just starting her settling in days.

My son has attended Little Wellies for over a year now, the staff are truly amazing and do a wonderful job! Every day is different and he loves the trips to see the horses and the park! After lockdown, he couldn’t wait to get back and was asking every day if he was going to nursery which I think speaks volumes as to how much he enjoys it! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Little Wellies, it’s a brilliant childcare provider and the staff have amazing bonds with the children, we’re always welcomed with a smiling face every morning without fail!

My little girls have been at Little Wellies for over 2 years and love it. We chose it as it felt like a home from home rather than some of the settings that seemed a little stiff. We loved the baby room and her transition to the preschool room was very smooth. The staff in both the baby and preschool rooms have lots of contact with all the children so by the time my little girl transitioned from the baby and tots for preschool it was very familiar and smooth. She goes in happily and comes home happy too, regularly messy which means she's had lots of fun playing and learning. Would definitely recommend it.
