Spring Nursery Cedars

The staff in Spring Nursery are fantastic! I have sent both my children to the nursery. My son (now 4) flourished there and went on to be a confident boy when starting school. When I had my daughter there was no hesitation that she would attend too. The staff are very caring and I feel very confident in them. The garden is also a huge plus at Spring and they also do lots of trips within the local community - A wonderful place for young children!

My little boy's experience with this nursery has been amazing. He settled in fine from day one. Also has had no problems either, he loves it so much and he asks to go every day.

I would highly recommend this nursery.

We like that fact we can use the app to see what our little one is doing, eating and nap times. It's great that we also get updates and observations from various staff members, so we can see the personal, social, emotional development and other skills they are learning. Nursery to us is like an extended family as our little one is making new friends and experiences. Well done staff!

Staff form great connections with the children and report on the progress via the Famly app. One point to improve could be to provide more information on what activities and learning that they do.

I was very nervous about my son starting nursery as he's only ever been with me but after the first week of him attending I had no doubt he would be fine and he comes out smiling every time. Friendly, welcoming and all-round great nursery.

I was extremely nervous about leaving my 14-month-old baby. I have never left him alone with anyone except his daddy and even this was only on 3 occasions. So this was a massive deal for me - as I imagine it is for most mummies. I feel completely confident leaving my baby in the care of the staff at Spring Nursery Cedars. He is now not crying when I leave him, in fact, the last time I dropped him off he walked in and did a dance. His confidence has grown as has his mobility and speech. I see pictures of him playing with other babies and getting cuddles from the staff. On a daily basis I get information on what he has eaten when he has slept and had his nappy changes - this keeps me going when I'm at work - I love knowing what he is doing. The food at the nursey is all homemade and healthy. When my partner pics our baby up he always get a wee overview of what he has done on that day. I feel the staff care about my baby and I feel happy and confident leaving him in their care.

I also like the way they do proper meals at lunchtime, how you can ask for the recipe and that some of them get put on the app. My little one used to just pick at food, but since being at the nursery and being able to get the recipes she likes she is eating full meals again.

My son is taken out on trips to local parks and even bus rides to town or library and other surrounding areas of Exeter which he finds great. Overall, I would hugely recommend this nursery for its homely, friendly feel and the high standard of care given.

Very nice and polite staff. A good environment for kids. I really like the app, it makes everything updated and informed easily and quickly. Very good nursery!

Really good nursery, never have any worries about the care of my son and he really enjoys himself here.

My son goes here and needs additional needs as he’s autistic. He has a one to one here and the staff are very friendly and knowledgable and go above and beyond for him. He has come on so much since being here making it possible for him to have a normal childhood while helping him progress daily and catering to all his needs. They are also a very flexible and amazing team.

We are so lucky to have found Cedars for our 1-year-old son. He has been attending since he was 7 months old and has now settled in so well and that he leaves me smiling in the mornings. He also seems to love his nutritious meals! The space and facilities are lovely - and there is gorgeous outdoor space. We don't have family close by to help out while we're working and it has been amazing to find somewhere close by where he seems cared for and contented. The staff have all been wonderful. He also gets to do lots of activities that we wouldn't be able to do at home. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Spring Nursery Cedars provides a caring, supportive environment for babies and young children. I have been very impressed with the high level of care my child has received from all the nursery staff, and he very much enjoys the time he spends there. The healthy and varied meal planning is also a really positive element.

Cedars is a great nursery, I put my daughter in at 12 months old and she's still there now at 2 and half years old, she loves the nursery and loves all the staff. I put my daughter in nursery because she wouldn't create bonds with anyone, not friends and not even some family. So when my daughter started here, I was concerned, but it was the best thing I could have done and I'm so glad I chose Cedars, as she bonded with the staff very well. My daughter is always excited to go to nursery. She has come on loads with her vocabulary and learning in all aspects. Not only are they great with the children, but they also support parents with any problems and give advice when needed. I would recommend this nursery a million per cent.
