Our little boy has been attending since September 2022 and I cannot rate this place highly enough, I recommend it to all my friends with little ones. We've been so well supported in our parenting journey through sleep, weaning, walking, potty training... I will miss the place so much when my boy goes to school this year. We've always been treated with kindness and respect and my son has thrived.

Spring Cedars is a lovely place for children, the location, amenities and the people. The location is very nice and away from the busy city centre area. We had sent our daughter first and now our little boy to Spring Cedars. Children have access to a very nice outdoor play area in the back of the nursery which is surrounded by trees. The staff are all very nice. They provide good hot meals and encourage children to eat well. Chloe, the manager is very experienced has been there since when our daughter was there. She is a lovely person and is very good in responding to any queries. We are very pleased with the way they take care of our little one and would recommend to anyone.

We couldn't be happier with Spring Nursery Cedars. From the moment our son started, it was clear this was somewhere truly special, warm, nurturing and full of care. The facilities are wonderful, the and the team go above and beyond every single day.

We want to give a huge personal shout-out to Leia, who has been absolutely phenomenal with our son. Her calm, attentive approach and the way she has got to know him as an individual already has made all the difference. We feel so lucky he is in her hands. Thank you Leia, and thank you to the whole team at Cedars - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent. Zacky's parents

There had been a change of location because of the renovations needed for the original nursery building. The indoor space at whipton children's centre looked bright, clean and spacious but the outdoor area wasn't very big. The sensory and soft play room was a great addition for the children.
Now we have returned to the original nursery site the rooms are modern, clean and spacious. There is a great range of new resources and toys for the children. We are looking forward to when the outdoor space is finished.

Most importantly the staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and keep in good contact when needed. The app they use keeps us well informed about my child's day letting us know about nappy changes, food eaten and how long the naps were. Also we really appreciated when both our children first started they were a little sad at drop offs but the staff would very kindly send a message or a photo to show our children had settled. I would definitely recommend.

Our little boy loves going to this nursery. All of the staff are so kind and supportive. They have worked hard with our eldest and now our littlest is loving life there. The food is always great and we love how the children are fully encouraged to be independent.

The staff have always been so friendly, caring and professional with both my children. My eldest is SEN and Cedars were head and shoulders above any other setting and really set him up for school. My youngest loves going to nursery and is always coming home with new words, phrases and interests after having such a good time here. Highly recommend

Spring Cedars has been amazing for my child who attends and has attended since 2023. The staff are so caring and attentive. My child has created a bond with each of them and is excited to go to nursery each day. Leaving your child at a nursery is very daunting but since day 1 the staff have gone above and beyond. They have provided me with so much support, a listening ear and so much helpful advice. My child is possibly a SEN child and they have been incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring aswell as doing all that they can to support my child. The nursery has a homely feel and lots of resources to support my child's development and prepare for school, I especially like that it is a screen free environment. I can't recommend or talk highly enough of the nursery as a whole and am so pleased with my decision to place my child in their care.

We absolutely love Spring Ceders. Staff are kind, patient and compassionate. Fun activities, outdoor and messy play and great communication from staff. Whenever our daughter has been unwell, it is taken very seriously. Staff celebrate achievements and make special occasions. We have no complaints at all. Thank you for creating a fun, safe place for our little ones.

My two children attend Spring Cedars and they love it there. The staff are always welcoming and friendly when we arrive and collect our children. They have always dealt with any issues in a timely a satisfactory manner. The recent price increase does make the nursery a little expensive compared to other ones in the area, but as my children love it I have stayed with the the setting. My only criticism is that I would prefer if there was more of a focus on education, as I don’t feel one of my children is learning as much as they should, such as counting and alphabet. I love that the setting uses an app so I can see updates throughout the day. However, it would be nice to get your child’s reviews in paper form so you can keep them. The use of daycare SOS does not work for me, I usually have issues booking my children extra spaces and am unable to make any payments on the app. I would highly recommend the setting to any other parents who are looking for a nursery.

What amazing staff they have at Spring Cedars! My 3-year-old comes home singing and teaching me new songs that I'd never even heard of! She has grown in confidence too, what a chatterbox she has become at home. They also have a wonderful outdoor area, which is where my daughter spends most of her time, so I hear!
I have to thank the wonderful staff for the way they care for all the children who attend this nursery.

Highly recommend!

Both my children have been to Spring nurseries in Exeter, so we have been with them for around six years! Throughout this time, they have been outstanding. The staff are so friendly, and the site and its garden is just perfect for my little ones. I have been able to drop them off and go to work and not worry about them at all. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who is thinking about putting their child in a nursery/preschool. Spring also have an online/app service where they update what your child has eaten throughout the day, as well as nappy changes/trips to the toilet and if suncream has been applied. Having this access to the app, with it being updated throughout the day, really puts your mind at ease.

Our son has seemed to settle in very well to nursery and always seems pleased to see whoever takes him in the morning, which is always nice. It’s been lovely to be able to come into the nursery at home time now and have a glimpse at some of the things he’s been up to.

I have sent both my children here and have had at least one child in the setting for almost six years. The staff are always welcoming and caring and take an interest in the children. The setting itself has a wonderful and very large outside space, and the set-up indoors encourages children to be creative and engage in imaginative play. The children are also taken out to explore their local environment, with trips to the park etc. The nursery adopts learning through play, rather than a more formal environment that can be found at some nurseries, and I think this is very welcome for young children. The dedicated chef cooks excellent meals, and the children are fed multiple times a day. The app used keeps parents up to date with what their child has eaten, nappy changes etc, as well as with what the children have been doing in the week. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the nursery to parents.

The staff at the nursery are absolutely amazing! Our little one has settled in so well, and he loves going to nursery! The food is great; they are spoilt for choice on the menu! Since the new manager has taken over, the nursery is 100 times better, and the new manager has made such a massive positive change. We are now very happy with the nursery. Thank you!
