Kids Planet Wallsend provides a warm and welcoming environment for children and their families in a unique building in the heart of Wallsend. With amazing facilities and an experienced childcare team, they offer a stimulating and nurturing environment for your children.

With 5 fully equipped room spaces for each age group, the nursery includes a multi-level soft play and 2 outdoor play and learning areas, as well as a multi-function space to be used for music, dance and role play.

All members of staff are very welcoming, they are all very caring and have no trouble helping you out with any queries that you have.
All the nursery rooms are perfectly kept and all areas are clean.

My daughter loves attending nursery and learns so much and is proud to tell us what she has been doing that day and who she has played with. The staff are always so lovely and accommodating. There isn’t one thing I could fault. We also sent our son here and he loved it too and if anything it has only
got better since he attended. I love that they have the indoor soft play area for the children to enjoy as well as the great outdoor play area and the kids do lots of physical play as well as crafts alongside all other learning. I would recommend the nursery and already have on many occasions to other parents.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, could not be happier sending my daughter here. Lovely staff who go above and beyond for the little ones. My daughter has learnt so much since going here could not fault a single thing.

Since my son has been to nursery he has most certainly thrived in many areas. I can see his development and all-around confidence growing. There are just many activities he does during the nursery that we simply cannot do at home. This has helped him become a happy fun loving boy.
The staff are excellent
with him and understands all the many different transitions they all go through very patient and good with him. I love to communicate and also the updates we get.
Totally recommend it as this is a safe and controlled space for kids to grow and develop.

My two boys go the Kids Planet Wallsend nursery and they absolutely adore it!
My eldest has been there a couple of years and we thought moving him to a school environment for pre-school was a better option, although we were wrong, he has since returned to Kids Planet and is his normal self again -
he is so happy to be back and the staff are just the loveliest bunch of people! They all know our boys by name and the boys are always looking for cuddles from them! They don't even look back when we drop them off which says everything to me! They have a range of activities and brand new toys etc. we never worry when they are there!
The communication and handovers are great. Nothing is too much trouble, the girls in the office have also helped me so much and I'm so grateful we have somewhere so loved by our kids! Our daughter will also be joining in the near future! 100% recommend to anyone!

As parents, we couldn't be happier with our child attending Kids Planet Wallsend. She is happy, content and enjoys her time there.
The staff here are great and have genuinely invested in our childs learning and personal development.
The resources and equipment the child have available to them are
excellent and the food is always well planned out.
Wouldn't hesitate recommending it to others!

My son has been very happy at this nursery and has flourished. The staff are great and communicate well with parents and cater for each individual child’s needs. The staff do lots of activities with the children and they have lots of outdoor time and opportunities to learn.
The food served is varied
and focuses on healthy choices which is great for growing children. Receive updates on what your child has been up to and learning through the app also, which is handy. Was recommended this nursery by two different parents and can confirm that the nursery has been excellent and is a great learning environment for my son.

Both my children attend the nursery and have both come on leaps and bounds! The staff are always so tentative and adapt so well to the kids and their needs. They inform you of any decisions or changes within the nursery and I have full confidence in them caring for and educating my children.

Wallsend Day Nursery has been the best choice I’ve made for my two children. The staff are kind, caring, interested and communicable. The staff always give a great handover and let me know how my children have got on that day and anything I need to know about. Management is always very helpful and informative
and any questions or queries are always dealt with promptly.
The days for the children are structured and they do a great variety of activities. They have a great menu and eat a wide variety of foods and try lots of new things. There is also a lovely garden with fantastic play equipment.
Attending Wallsend Day Nursery has helped my children’s development so much. I am so grateful they go to such a lovely nursery and come out smiling every day, there’s no better feeling than knowing they are safe and happy.

The staff are so lovely and friendly and they really care. I returned to work in the middle of the pandemic I felt my child was safe and the nursery used a common-sense approach and didn't just send him home when he coughed once.

My daughter loves going to nursery. All the staff are friendly, caring and supportive. They give a nice overview of her day when I pick her up. She does a mixture of activities throughout the day and they have a varied menu. She especially loves the private outdoor space which they use regularly. They

My daughter has attended for almost 3 years and has loved every stage of it. Her happiness there made it so easy to leave my 12-month-old there too, who is settling in so well and has already established great connections with the nursery staff. My daughter has come on so well at the nursery and always

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was around one-year-old and she has loved it. She’s experienced all of their rooms so far and has built very close and trusting relationships with all of the staff so far. They work incredibly hard to make sure children feel comfortable and happy. In our
case, they made a huge effort to ease my daughters anxiety about being left. Since going full time in January, she’s had the best time and they’ve kept her so safe given the circumstances surrounding Covid. We’re kept up to date with her progress and day to day behaviours which is really helpful so we can continue these at home. She loves the food at nursery and gets such a great variation of food. We would definitely recommend the nursery, without hesitation.

My son loves this nursery. The staff are all fantastic. Any issues or queries are resolved quickly by the staff or management. A wonderful nursery. My little boy loves going. He loves the staff, the food and the amazing facilities. The garden is fantastic and they take the children out in all weathers. Would definitely recommend. The ladies are friendly and welcoming, feedback given at the end of each day is so helpful to understand
what your child has been up to. Very accommodating if you need last-minute care and always so helpful. During this pandemic, they have followed every guideline and I feel safe taking my little boy in and he always comes out smiling.

The nursery is lovely with my daughter, she loves going and loves the staff. Whenever there has been in issue when dropping her off, I'm told to ring and check how she's doing. Food for Lunch and Dinner have a good range. My daughter has continued to progress throughout her short time with Wallsend

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have worked in childcare for over 10 years, working in various different roles. I am passionate about all things early years, in particular supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and supporting families and the wider community. I am passionate about children’s literacy and incorporating this into all aspects of my role.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and exploring new places. I also enjoy curling up with a good book!
