Kids Planet Wallsend provides a warm and welcoming environment for children and their families in a unique building in the heart of Wallsend. With amazing facilities and an experienced childcare team, they offer a stimulating and nurturing environment for your children.

With 5 fully equipped room spaces for each age group, the nursery includes a multi-level soft play and 2 outdoor play and learning areas, as well as a multi-function space to be used for music, dance and role play.

They offer funded places for 2-year-olds and 3-4-year-olds.

Since my daughter joined kids planet in January 2025, I cannot express how much she loves nursery. This is shown everyday as she requests to go by bringing her nursery bag to me every morning, even on weekends!! I was so nervous about her starting nursery with her been under assessment for autism and
been non verbal, but the staff have been truly amazing with her, and myself also. The show such kindness not to just my little girl but to all children which I have witnessed on drop off and pick up. And my daughter loves a cuddle of the staff. I can't thank all the staff enough, and that's all staff within other classes as well as office staff who always greet with a smile.

Horrendous experience from start to finish. Had my 1 year old in for settling in sessions and he screamed the entire time to the point he was hyperventilating, handing over to a different nursery worker every time and didn't even know who his key worker was. The place is absolutely chaotic and management
seem to be more interested in pushing open days to get more children in to line their pockets. When I stated I was pulling him out, didn't seem interested one bit on what they need to work on. Each to their own, however I would avoid this nursery especially if your child is rather young.

My daughter has been attending since she was 1 and has moved from the baby's group right through to rising 3s, her progress since starting has been amazing! The confidence and everything she loves going to nursery and I don't blame her every single member of staff are fantastic couldn't ask for better
people to leave my daughter with. So many amazing activities, a lovely clean nursery, brilliant meal options, and overall just such a safe brilliant place can't thank the staff enough for the care they have given my daughter.

My son absolutely loves going to the Wallsend nursery, he has came on so well and is thriving and loving playing with the other children there too. He is trying all different foods and enjoys every meal that is provided.

Couldn't ask for better staff they are amazing, my granddaughter loves the nursery she cries when I pick her up or turns hear head when I collect her, the smiles that she has when I seeing her playing I find out on the app what's she's had to eat at meal times, her playtime her naps and they keep me
up to date with events. Couldn't ask for a better nursery 5* all the way.

Both my boys have attended Kids Planet Wallsend and absolutely love the environment, staff, and activities. My eldest attends as part of the holiday club and enjoys his time there with his younger brother.
The learning environment in preschool is great, learning through play - sometimes I'm learning
things from my four year old!
We would happily continue to send both our boys to the holiday club once the youngest starts school.
The range of facilities including the soft play, garden, sports room and sensory room is more than I have seen at other nurseries.

All 3 of my children have went to kids planet and my youngest still does. I will be devastated when she leaves as she absolutely loves it she can't wait to get in, the staff are 100% pure they care, they listen, and they love.

I chose this nursery twice, as my daughter also attended 5 years before and thoroughly enjoyed her year! This year my son has been, once again, brilliant. The care from the staff has been second to none as he struggled for the first few months with separation anxiety. He adored all the staff, especially

Kids Planet is outstanding in every way, the help and support I have heard from staff and management over the last six months has been incredible. My nephew was 13 months when he started at Kids Planet, he had very little interaction With other children of his age, He is now hitting all his milestones,
walking, talking, and feeding himself but most of all the excitement and joy on this little boys face when he attends nursery.
It’s a beautiful environment, calm and relaxed and full of happiness.

My little one is so happy at this nursery. She has been going for two months now and the fabulous staff have helped her to settle in. The activities are frequent and fun. Great facilities and the meals look amazing too!

My daughter loves attending nursery and learns so much and is proud to tell us what she has been doing that day and who she has played with. The staff are always so lovely and accommodating. There isn’t one thing I could fault. We also sent our son here and he loved it too and if anything it has only
got better since he attended. I love that they have the indoor soft play area for the children to enjoy as well as the great outdoor play area and the kids do lots of physical play as well as crafts alongside all other learning. I would recommend the nursery and already have on many occasions to other parents.

Since my son has been to nursery he has most certainly thrived in many areas. I can see his development and all-around confidence growing. There are just many activities he does during the nursery that we simply cannot do at home. This has helped him become a happy fun loving boy.
The staff are excellent
with him and understands all the many different transitions they all go through very patient and good with him. I love to communicate and also the updates we get.
Totally recommend it as this is a safe and controlled space for kids to grow and develop.

My two boys go the Kids Planet Wallsend nursery and they absolutely adore it!
My eldest has been there a couple of years and we thought moving him to a school environment for pre-school was a better option, although we were wrong, he has since returned to Kids Planet and is his normal self again -
he is so happy to be back and the staff are just the loveliest bunch of people! They all know our boys by name and the boys are always looking for cuddles from them! They don't even look back when we drop them off which says everything to me! They have a range of activities and brand new toys etc. we never worry when they are there!
The communication and handovers are great. Nothing is too much trouble, the girls in the office have also helped me so much and I'm so grateful we have somewhere so loved by our kids! Our daughter will also be joining in the near future! 100% recommend to anyone!

As parents, we couldn't be happier with our child attending Kids Planet Wallsend. She is happy, content and enjoys her time there.
The staff here are great and have genuinely invested in our childs learning and personal development.
The resources and equipment the child have available to them are
excellent and the food is always well planned out.

My son has been very happy at this nursery and has flourished. The staff are great and communicate well with parents and cater for each individual child’s needs. The staff do lots of activities with the children and they have lots of outdoor time and opportunities to learn.
The food served is varied
and focuses on healthy choices which is great for growing children. Receive updates on what your child has been up to and learning through the app also, which is handy. Was recommended this nursery by two different parents and can confirm that the nursery has been excellent and is a great learning environment for my son.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have worked in childcare for over 10 years, working in various different roles. I am passionate about all things early years, in particular supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and supporting families and the wider community. I am passionate about children’s literacy and incorporating this into all aspects of my role.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and exploring new places. I also enjoy curling up with a good book!
