At Kids Planet Leeds Oxford Place, the children are nurtured and encouraged as they discover their own unique personality and take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills. Qualified and experienced practitioners help children to learn new skills and develop confidently towards school life.

Parents are kept up-to-date with their child's development and are invited in for regular parent partnership meetings. A monthly newsletter, themed stay and play sessions and fun family events mean parents and children will soon become part of the Kids Planet family.

The 60-place nursery provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

My 2 boys love going to the nursery, they are always happy. I have seen a big difference in the way my older son is with his little brother. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome when entering and leaving the nursery.

I was anxious about my son starting nursery at 7.5 months but the staff at Twinkles have been absolutely fantastic and have helped him to settle in and love nursery! The quality of care is outstanding and the nursery nurses clearly genuinely care about the happiness and development of each child. Since
starting at Twinkles, my son has learnt so many new skills and I notice a change in him every week. He is growing into a clever and independent young child and this is definitely thanks to the excellent nursery provision!

Twinkles Nursery is a brilliant setting. My daughter goes in with a big smile and leaves with a big smile on her face. This shows me that she loves being in the nursery. All the staff are very friendly and professional.
The environment is extremely clean and stimulating. The classroom is bright and
spacious and it provides a wide range of excellent activities and toys. The set up of the classroom encourages my daughter to become an independent and inquisitive child.

Twinkles Nursery at Oxford Place is an absolutely amazing nursery.
I had a full year off of work when my daughter was born and by my return to work she was very attached to me and still breastfeeding, so I was understandably nervous about her starting nursery.
Twinkles arranged settling in sessions,
helped me plan supplying pumped milk for a while, asked loads of questions about how to help my daughter settle in and even emailed me an update on her progress on her first day.
For a while I was just so pleased she genuinely seemed to love going to Twinkles, but now I've noticed a real change in her. She's developing new social skills, as she now gets to socialise with lots of other children. She's getting regular opportunities to participate in creative activities that it would be very difficult to recreate at home. I still feel very much a part of her care. With Twinkles everything is a collaborative effort and it's bringing a wonderful new dimension to my daughter's development.

Brilliant care, and very accommodating of special requirements, with no problems. Our daughter's been coming since the nursery opened and always comes home having had a good time.

The facilities at the nursery are excellent with a wide range of activities and toys, including a well stocked outdoor area and soft play area in the basement.
The staff take a genuine interest in my daughter and work hard to ensure she develops well and meets/exceeds all milestones.
As a result,
she is happy at the nursery and is progressing well.
The nursery also provides healthy food options and a wide range of different recipes.

We moved from another Twinkles as the facilities at Oxford Place are great and the décor and the equipment are all new - so it's a really nice environment. The staff there are great - really friendly and enthusiastic. My son settled in quickly and clearly enjoys his time there.

I am so happy with Twinkles Oxford Place. My son loves it there.
You are always greeted with a warm smile by the staff when dropping off and picking up your child. The staff are so happy and caring, which is what you want when you are leaving your child for the day.
The nursery itself is spotlessly
clean. They have a wide variety of toys and activities for the children to play with and go outside every day if the weather allows. It's like leaving my little boy with family!

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2017

I have had the pleasure of working here at Leeds Oxford Place since 2017, during that time I have gained so much experience and have been able to progress in various roles and have recently become the Manager here in June 2024.
During this time, I’ve even welcomed my little girl to the world who I have been able to watch flourish and grow within this Nursery, she is now three and thriving. This gives me the desire and drive to provide the best for all children in my Nursery, whether this be engaging with them myself and implementing a variety of opportunities, or training and supporting my staff to be the very best they can be.
