Kids Planet Oxford Place - Leeds City Centre

My son has attended Twinkles since he was 10 months old he is now 21 months. I have nothing but respect for all the staff here. From baby room to the next one up, he has come on leaps and bounds and loves attending; every day he smiles as soon as we get inside. There is always healthy food for my son, so I know he is getting what he needs. He is learning every day and enjoying his time here. Hats off to all staff; so welcoming.

Could not be more impressed. The culture and efforts to cultivate relationships with children and parents is second to none. I have the deepest trust in the team and it is often the highlight of my day to collect my boys and see how excited they are to tell me about their adventures.

The policies are very strict, the staff very professional and friendly. The manager very professional she deals with every comment separately and makes sure the parents are happy with the results.

My little boy was 11 months when he started at Twinkles Oxford Place. I was slightly apprehensive about leaving him, as he had literally been my little shadow since he was born. We don't have much family nearby, so he had not spent regular periods away from me. However, he settled in so well at Twinkles and the team in the Baby Stars room have been great with him. Developmentally, he has also progressive massively in the past few months: he is better socially with other people and children; started crawling and walking fairly quickly, and just generally enjoys seeing and hearing new things. He loves being active too, which is definitely encouraged.

I am so glad that I found Twinkles Oxford Place, and even more grateful that the staff have made what could have been a very difficult transition, seem fairly effortless and stress-free.

My daughter started at Twinkles Oxford Place in October 2017 (2years 5months at the time), and she's been developing happily since then. I am a single mom and full-time student, so it is really important for me to have a second home with a second family for my child so that my mind is at ease knowing she's very happy while she's there. Her carers are extremely cooperative and have helped her reach development milestones both at nursery and at home. I'm beyond relieved that I have found a nursery with staff I can trust, especially since they are supportive during hardships I personally go through with my two little ones. I couldn't be happier with the cleanliness, meals and good habits my daughter has acquired and it's going to be bittersweet when it's time for her to start school.

The most important for me is the feeling that I can trust them to take care of my precious baby.

She spent 6 weeks at a different nursery before we transferred to Twinkles Oxford Place and while she was well looked after she cried a lot and spent a lot of time looking out of the windows for us. After only a week at Twinkles the crying has stopped and she LOVES it! Every day she comes home and tells us what a great day she's had. She was put in the age 3+ room and despite being very young is thriving and taking part in the vast array of activities available. The soft play room is her favourite thing! The outdoor space is pretty limited but for a city centre venue that's hardly to be a surprise. They are still outside regularly and making the most of the space that's there! I've run out of review space but I could go on about this place all day.

My son has been attending this nursery since January 2017. I changed to Twinkles Oxford Place nursery from another that I wasn't completely happy with and have no regrets since doing so. My son absolutely loves the nursery, the staff, other children, their daily routines, activities, the list is endless.

The amount of activities they do, messy play, going out into the garden or for a walk is just brilliant. There are 3 rooms split by age group, a shared soft play room and an outside play area. There is also an on-site chef who prepares all the meals, the meals provide excellent range and variety for the kids and it has got my son eating certain things that I wouldn't normally cook at home!

Couldn't recommend this nursery more and plan to send my second child here too.

My baby started nursery in November 2017 which was quite a daunting prospect for myself and no doubt her. However, from the very first day all of the staff, without exception, have been amazing. They take their time to know you, know your child and they are observant ie know what your child is wearing, what they eat, any changes in your child. They are encouraging, supportive and clearly, enjoy the kids. They immediately come to say hello when you arrive and in the best way possible take your child off you so that you can go to work, they call when needed and are always polite and courteous. They are consistent in their behaviour and I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone.

You can call in whenever you want and you still get the same reception!

We transferred from another Twinkles site when Oxford Place opened, due to its excellent location. Having been very happy at our previous setting, I was nervous-but from the first day he was very happy!

The staff are very kind and caring with wonderfully creative minds for activities for both learning and play.

Any concerns are dealt with swiftly and professionally and with my child's development and happiness as a priority.

I receive regular updates on progress and activities through social media, email and also verbally from both managerial and room staff.

Facilities are bright, clean and new and larger than you would expect from a city centre nursery.

My child's day is filled with reading stories, dancing, phonics, art, sand, water, kite making, role play, baking, trips to the local library/shops and playing outside or in the soft play. He is challenged, encouraged, entertained! Very happy!

My daughter has done really well settling into Twinkles. She started last month and I've been so impressed at how child-led and responsive staff have been in addressing her needs.

My 2 boys love going to the nursery, they are always happy. I have seen a big difference in the way my older son is with his little brother. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome when entering and leaving the nursery.

I was anxious about my son starting nursery at 7.5 months but the staff at Twinkles have been absolutely fantastic and have helped him to settle in and love nursery! The quality of care is outstanding and the nursery nurses clearly genuinely care about the happiness and development of each child. Since starting at Twinkles, my son has learnt so many new skills and I notice a change in him every week. He is growing into a clever and independent young child and this is definitely thanks to the excellent nursery provision!

The environment is extremely clean and stimulating. The classroom is bright and spacious and it provides a wide range of excellent activities and toys. The set up of the classroom encourages my daughter to become an independent and inquisitive child.

For a while I was just so pleased she genuinely seemed to love going to Twinkles, but now I've noticed a real change in her. She's developing new social skills, as she now gets to socialise with lots of other children. She's getting regular opportunities to participate in creative activities that it would be very difficult to recreate at home. I still feel very much a part of her care. With Twinkles everything is a collaborative effort and it's bringing a wonderful new dimension to my daughter's development.

I feel her continued presence here will help her learn and adapt as she gets older.

We moved from another Twinkles as the facilities at Oxford Place are great and the décor and the equipment are all new - so it's a really nice environment. The staff there are great - really friendly and enthusiastic. My son settled in quickly and clearly enjoys his time there.

The nursery itself is spotlessly clean. They have a wide variety of toys and activities for the children to play with and go outside every day if the weather allows. It's like leaving my little boy with family!
