Loughborough Nursery is an 'all-inclusive' nursery for the local community providing a safe, warm, welcoming and friendly haven near the centre of Loughborough, for children from six-weeks up to four-years-old.

Parents can confidently leave their child secure in the knowledge that they will be looked after and nurtured by a hand-picked team of childcare specialists. Parents can choose from full days and morning or afternoon sessions. A morning session includes breakfast and morning snack and lunch and afternoon sessions include an afternoon snack and tea.

During the day, children spend their time in the exciting and stimulating environment of the Nursery and its outside play area. Newly-added spaces include a Library and IT Suite, as well as a calming sensory area and an engaging Discovery Village which aims to encourage creativity and imagination. Children also take part in a range of fun, themed activities designed to encourage the development of fine motor skills and build confidence and social skills. At the end of each day, parents receive in-depth feedback from their child’s key person.

  • A registration fee of £75 is required to reserve a place for your child. This is refunded at the end of your child’s time at Loughborough Nursery, providing that the correct notice is given, and fees are up to date.


    The Loughborough Nursery accepts childcare vouchers, government tax-free childcare and FEEE funding (15/30 hours) for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.


    A Nursery place can be 51 weeks or term time plus. Priority is given to full-time places. Fees are invoiced over 12 months from 1 September to 1 August.

AMAZING!! My son has brain damage, cerebral palsy, global developmental delay and sensory processing he is also unable to walk and require a wheelchair. Loughborough nursery haven't just met his needs they have gone above any beyond for him, he's taken part in days out, sports day, every event within
the nursery never has he felt different and has always been included he has now just graduated the pre school room and i couldn't be prouder not just of him but of everyone involved with getting him to where he is now.

Both of our daughters have attended the Pioneers class for pre-schoolers at different times and had a brilliant experience. The staff are all so caring and nurturing. They supported our children throughout their time in Pioneers. The facilities are excellent. The teaching activities are well thought
out and help prepare for transition to school. The staff including senior leadership really care about every child. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Loughborough Nursery.

Loughborough nursery has lovely class rooms and the teachers are lovely and patient with the kids.
I love the way the management is able to accommodate your child's dietary needs and ensures you child get a balanced meal.

This is a fantastic nursery. Our son loves being there and is excited each morning to see his friends and his teachers. Our son has thrived in the preschool room, developing the needed skills and experience for school. The food offered is always delicious and he comes home telling the things he has
tried and the things he has loved. The activities available are always updated and thoughtfully considered to meet the children's needs. The outside space is utilised and enjoyed by children and staff and is excellent for a good run around.
The communication from the team is great and keeps us in the loop with what happened last week on the app and we know what is coming up within an email.
If we ever have any queries or concerns the team are eager to support and assist. No query is a silly query.
I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough to parents and to kids.

Our son is 2.5 years old and currently attends the nursery. To say he loves it is an understatement - the staff are absolutely fabulous! He often cries when he has to come home and his key worker is probably his favourite person!
From the amazing menu options and catering for different dietary requirements

The Nursery is inclusive and caring, the staff are very knowledgeable and have cared for both of our daughters admirably. They both have an inhaler and I have always felt safe in the knowledge that the nursery staff know when they need it and how to administer the inhaler.
The communication is fantastic
and they accommodate all requests. The food is excellent and both of our girls have loved going.
The facilities are brilliant there are big spaces inside and out for the children. They have structure in their day and you can see everything your child is doing through the app.
Couldn't recommend it enough.

This nursery has been fantastic for both of our daughters. My eldest started during lockdown and the extra measures they put in place for pick up and drop off were excellent. My youngest still goes to the nursery and in every room, she has bonded with one of the staff members. The whole team make her
feel welcome every day she comes in. They have great activities like superstar sports and singing lessons which my daughter talks about on the way home. The nursery also puts on additional events around Christmas and holidays so get to attend during the day and meet other parents, see your child in the nursery setting. Would fully recommend it.

Our daughter has been attending the Loughborough Nursery since January '24 and we have been delighted with her progress.
She has just recently moved up to the next room and the transition was seamless from the dedication of the staff.
The facilities on offer are second to none. My wife and I often
read the weekly food menus with some degree of envy as to what is being served! (by a superbly qualified chef!).
We really couldn't ask for any more from a nursery for our little girl and are delighted we made the choice to send her to the Loughborough Nursery.

We are so happy with chose Loughborough Nursery for our son. There were nurseries closer to our home but for us the setting and staff are worth every second of our half an hour commute. The staff from day one have been warm and welcoming, professional but personable. The communication from reception
through to room leaders and carers has been exemplary. As parents you are informed of everything well in advance and we really value the friendly (and often funny) comms regarding our son. The setting is stunning, our son has got to go outside so much as well as utilise local school facilities. The catering is also amazing, we often joke that our son is fed better than us during the working day! We are so pleased we chose Loughborough Nursery - we have even signed up our second child and they aren't due until August. Keep up the good work Loughborough Nursery.

Our son has been at the nursery for just over 2 years. During that time, we have seen him flourish. All of the staff treat him with such kindness and respect and we have been very grateful for the personalised support they have given him. We are so glad he went to Loughborough Nursery. It is no understatement
to say that the nursery has helped shape him into the happy, curious, adventurous little person that he is. Special thanks needs to be given to two staff members in particular. Their enthusiasm for early years education is infectious. They always greet us with a smile and provide such detailed overviews of my son's day. The activities they run with him are always so creative and enjoyable that he doesn't stop talking about his time with them. They genuinely care about all of the children they work with, which is such a comfort to all parents. We’ve sent both our girls to the Loughborough Nursery and both have had a great experience and talk about the nursery fondly. We had used a different day care with our first child prior to moving her solely here, we weren’t happy with the other place and the Loughborough Nursery really showed the other
organisation's shortcomings. From a parenting point of view the communication, pictures and lately app notifications have been fantastic. All the staff are incredible and in the 3-4 years we’ve been using the nursery have never had a problem complaint or issue.

This nursery and preschool is 10/10, no 11/10! The care that is shown to the children there is like a home from home. Every little thing is thought through and thought of. Every concern from parents, no matter how small, is important and most importantly the children are nurtured and develop along a
wonderful path laid out before them, but a path that allows them to wander off it too; to develop their independence. The children arrive wide-eyed and leave with a wider mind, ready to face and start their school life. We don't feel that our child could have had a better start along the road to school. An excellent nursery. The childcare provided is flawless. The staff are all friendly welcoming and reassuring.
The communication to parents is excellent and my daughters both came on so well in their care.
The setting is very clean and the meals all home cooked varied and healthy. The children are
well taken care of they have a good choice of activities and a lovely open space for free flow play.

My son has been visiting the nursery since April 2017. He was accepted very well by the staff and the rest of the children. In terms of hygiene and cleanliness, the nursery is outstanding.
