We've had a great experience in both the babies and tots' rooms. Our little boy has come along so much, all the staff are really supportive, and it's clear how much they want the best for all the children.

Our daughter came to this kindergarten after a not very successful experience in the previous one, where she went with complete reluctance and in the end refused to go at all. To our surprise, after the first week of visiting, she was simply delighted and now constantly asks us to take her to the kindergarten
to play with the children.


The kindergarten has a great playground on site and the rooms are filled with lots of interactive activities. The teachers are active, attentive and involved in the child's development process, and this is very noticeable.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for just over a year now and we love it.
She's always enthusiastic about going and seems to have a great relationship with the gang that works there. I've always found the staff to be helpful and kind. As a parent, I am completely at ease leaving my daughter
in their care. I enjoyed the stay and plays that they host and recently got to avail of the fantastic hairdresser who visited them.
I also love the variety of food that my daughter is offered there. I would never have thought to make some of the dishes she has been served there and it turns out she loves them. So thank you to the wonderful chefs working there also.

Our daughter has been attending Kids Planet Salford Quays for over one year now and she absolutely loves it. She runs into the room in the morning and leaves at the end of the day with a big smile on her face. All the staff are friendly, and caring and have a genuine interest in the children's development.

We started our little one at Kids Planet Salford Quays just before they turned one. Not an easy time for any parent - particularly when you're juggling the settling period with your return to work post maternity leave and your little one is a classic Velcro baby.
As expected the first weeks were emotional
for both parents and baby but Kids Planet (baby room) made sure they could do all possible to help our little girl settle in. Whether that be allowing sleeping bags from home, favourite teddies or comfort items or simply trying to understand what it was that comforted our child most when they felt sad.
After a fair few weeks of tailoring care to make our daughter feel as comfortable as possible, she now loves her 3 days a week at nursery. Meals are healthy and balanced, activities are fun and always logged on the app and the team genuinely cares. They've made the nursery transition a happy one and we hope our daughter has many happy memories and experiences to come.

My daughter started at Kids Planet at only 6 months old, the staff was so helpful and supportive, they took good care of her and helped us with the transition. My daughter was always happy to go to nursery, we had daily photos of the activities (that were always new and helped her development) and we
could tell she really was stimulated and loved. Unfortunately, we had to move out of Manchester and change nursery, but we will always remember how lovely Kids Planet's staff has been with us and how they cared for our daughter. I would highly recommend it!

It is close to where we live, with parking on site for drop off and collection. The only negative from our perspective, especially my child's, is that there is not always fruit available for kids to have on collection. My child enjoys her fruits after her sessions.

An amazing team of people where you can tell their job brings them satisfaction and joy which has had a massive influence on our child's life and the fact he absolutely loves coming to nursery says it all! The staff always have time for you and your concerns as a parent. My son loves the unique and
fun activities each person spends time in creating and I can see how much he's developed and settled in since joining this nursery. Really good focus on dietary requirements and meals as well. My main feedback would be to highlight how much the staff are having to do at the moment, I assume due to staff shortage, although they never moan, I can still see how hard they are working. Another little pointer would be to improve the app as others are much more effective and user friendly. Similarly, the updates and publishing food/nap/nappies are slow and mostly after handover but I appreciate that ties in with staff workload and it has improved recently as well. All in all, I love that my son goes here and he does too!

The staff are excellent at this nursery. They're friendly, caring, passionate and very good at what they do. Our child has lots of fun at the nursery but also benefits from educational activities at the same time. The food is varied and healthy. The environment is clean and tidy (which mustn't be an
easy job to maintain, but staff do it very well regardless). The nursery is also very safe and the children's welfare is clearly a high priority. I'd highly recommend Kids Planet Salford Quays!

Staff is super amazing. My kid can't wait every morning to go to the nursery. They have a different activity every day. Playing outside, travel to the park. Nice and delicious food. They are doing the best job!

We have had 2 children come through Kids Planet and are very happy we chose them. The teachers are really personable and seem to care for the children. I always felt the kids were safe, nice variety of activities and good varied, healthy food.

We're really happy with Kids Planet, they have some great staff who my little boy loves. They make such an effort to ensure the children have fun days and they often go on trips out of the nursery which my little boy has so much fun on! He'll be sad to leave in August to start school!

We just moved from France to UK and our son has been going to Kids Planet Salford Quays for almost 2 months, 3 days a week and I’m really happy with everything. I can feel that my son enjoys his time there.
Even if I’m French and my English is not perfect I had no issue with the staff since everyone
is really kind and helpful.

We found the nursery staff very caring, very approachable and, most importantly, very patient with our queries and the effort they took to address those queries.
Our child went here for almost a year and was very happy throughout - made friends, improved communication, learned to eat his food and learned

Amina Ahmed

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Amina joined Kids Planet as a supply in Prestwich and quickly fell in love with the company, where her passion for working with children grew every day. She was promoted to Senior Practitioner in the Toddler Room, and then Room Leader in the Tots Room. Throughout this, her manager was a fantastic support as she gained all the skills and experience to flourish in her roles. This gave her the confidence to make a move over to Salford Quays where she took on the role as Deputy and was promoted to Manager in Summer 2023!
