Corner House Nursery Astbury Lane

I'm so pleased I chose this nursery for our son. The staff are enthusiastic, caring and clearly very experienced. They take genuine interest in my child's needs, home-life and what he likes, e.g. toys, games, activities, food etc. I am really impressed with how they make learning so creative and fun, and the clever way in which it all links to the EYFS. The systems in place (daily diary, online learning journal, newsletters etc) for communicating with parents is also very impressive, and I really feel part of his nursery experience.

My son has specific care needs and dietary requirements, but I feel very comfortable and reassured leaving my child at this nursery. The food menus are healthy and nutritious, and this is very important to me as a parent.

Overall, this is an exceptional nursery; very well managed and professional. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

Absolutely love the Nursery couldn't think of a better place to send my child she enjoys it so much and has come on leaps and bounds. She has made loads of new friends and bonded so well with all the staff and she looks forward to going each time. I would definitely recommend the Nursery to friends and family. I love the fact that I know that my child is been looked after safely and eating the right foods and she always comes home happy and talking about her day.

Astbury Lane provides an excellent level of care. The home visits before your child starts is an excellent idea and really helped establish a bond between my daughter's key worker and herself, in her own environment. It provides great facilities. The staff are extremely caring, committed, professional and are passionate about developing the children in their care and frequently organise special activities and join in with the local events in the community. There is an outdoor play area and a good emphasis on physical activity. Also, split into 3 sections which give the piece of mind that my daughter is in a safe environment (8 months old when she started and not mobile at the time). The food is healthy, my daughter gets such a variety of different foods. There is a detailed daily feedback, with all aspects of my child's day. Overall, it is a fantastic nursery and has helped me every step of the way to ensure me that my child is safe, secure and extremely looked after in their care. Highly recommendable.

This nursery knows about baby and toddler learning and schema, something I have an interest in both as a parent and teacher, but above all that our son is happy and seems to enjoy his time at Astbury Lane Nursery.

This is a fantastic nursery. My daughter is extremely happy here, she started in the baby room. The surroundings are very calming and relaxed and homely. The staff are very friendly and really do care for your children. She has now progressed to the next room and is very settled and content, there is a huge change in her speech and learning and is this is a credit to the staff. There are plenty of activities planned each day keeping a great routine for the children. The food menus are fantastic giving the Children lots of variety flavours and textures with a great nutritional value I only wish I lunched with them. They have visits to local children's sensory play areas, they visit the library to have story time for the children, they go to feed the ducks, they have a great outdoor play area at the nursery. I highly recommend this nursery and the use of fingerprint entry that can be used by parents at any time I find this very reassuring and I love the use of the Tapestry app.

My son has settled so well at Astbury lane nursery and it's all because of the lovely and kind environment at the nursery. Everyone there is fantastic and he loves every second he spends there. I would highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery couldn't make parents or children feel anymore welcome! All the staff are very friendly and management will assist with any questions or queries. My child always looks forward to going to this nursery and is clearly kept busy during the day as he is always ready for bed after. Safety and first aid is paramount here which as a parent makes you feel happy to leave your child in the care of everyone working here.

Astbury Lane Nursery is truely a very special place where nothing is ever too much, just like a home from home.

Can't fault this nursery. Since taking over the premises in the summer they have done a great job in modernising it, and all the staff are very professional and take a pride in their work. We know that our daughter is in great care there, and her personality has really come on since she has been attending the nursery. Top marks all round.

Fantastic staff, very caring towards my son. Lots of fantastic and varied activities done each day. Food is fantastic and suited to dietary requirements. The feedback to parents is great and I feel included in my sons time at nursery. Management is very approachable and as a parent I feel my feedback and opinions are listened to. Also like that they have activities parents can get involved in such as stay and plays and community projects.

We moved our daughter to this nursery in September 2016 due to moving into the area. The change in her has been amazing. Our daughter would always cry and refuse to go to her old nursery it was always uncomfortable and emotional dropping her off. Since she has started here her confidence has really improved. She now wants to go into nursery she walks in on her own happily and tells us all about it when we pick her up. The staff work with my daughter when it comes to meal times and the stuff they manage to get her to eat compared with home is just amazing. The variety of diet they offer is also very good. The staff are all approachable and friendly. My daughter talks about her key person regularly at home and the relationship she has built up in the short time she has been attending the nursery is just amazing. I can't speak highly enough of this nursery and it's staff. The manager and her staff are all doing a great job. Thank you for everything you do.
