Cherry Hill Children's Day Nursery is a setting in Borras on the outskirts of Wrexham.

The setting is committed to offering children a warm, loving and stimulating nursery environment where they feel safe and supported to develop to reach their full potential.

Cherry Hill Nursery provides a well-planned programme of activities and events that allow for each child to develop to their individual requirements and staff aim to entertain and encourage children to be inquisitive and active learners.

The nursery's team of highly qualified and experienced staff ensure that each child's needs are met, and support children to grow in confidence and become more independent, while providing children them with a strong foundation on which to build their future education.

Cherry Hill is located in a large house near to the A483 and Wrexham Industrial Park, with good access to nearby Chester and Wrexham. The nursery is set in its own grounds and provides children with playrooms and quiet rooms where they can play, learn and interact. Children also have the opportunity to use the nursery's secure outdoor play area, complete with stimulating activities and a nature trail.

Cherry Hill Children's Day Nursery is also registered to deliver Welsh Government programmes - Flying Start (2 year old funding) Funded Early Education (3 year old funding) + The Childcare Offer (also 3 year old funding).

Cherry Hill is a fantastic nursery. My daughter started there when she was 9-months and left when she was three to start school. All the Cherry Hill staff are so warm and welcoming and do an amazing job with all the children. My daughter was very happy there and loved going to nursery. The staff do
so many different activities with the children, and my daughter always had so much fun at Cherry hill. I would highly recommend Cherry Hill nursery as my daughter had such a good experience there, and I knew all the staff we're doing such a good job caring for my daughter while I was at work.

My daughter went to Cherry Hill and I can't thank the staff enough. They are so good and looked after my daughter so well. I was sent photos of her playing and it was never a problem to call at any time. We had a book to take home saying what she had eaten and what she did on that day I would highly
recommend Cherry Hill - 5 stars. They looked after my daughter so well and she has gone on to nursery school fine with no crying at the gates and happy to play which is great. Thank you ladies.

Amazing nursery, my son loved his time at Cherry Hill. He went from a very clingy 2 year old who didn't like me to leave the room to a confident 3 year old nearly four year old ready for school with the help from all the ladies at Cherry Hill. Thank you so much keep up your amazing work!

We used Cherry Hill since our daughter was 12 months old and she stayed until she was 3 and started pre-school. She loved her time there, enjoying the various activities and outdoor play. All the staff were friendly, helpful and caring to all the children. There was never an issue with the hours/availability.
There was an excellent online closed Facebok group that provided you with all updates and pictures. We were really pleased we chose Cherry Hill as a place for our daughter to start her journey in life.

Cherry Hill has been brilliant with my daughter from 9 months to 3 yrs old ! She enjoyed every minute and I was so proud of her graduation. My son started at Cherry Hill in 2016 and has loved every single minute there, I visited most nursery’s in the Wrexham area but nothing could top Cherry Hill, we loved how we didn’t need an appointment to go and have a look around and also every room was so colourful and warming, the staff are amazing!
Nothing is ever too much. We are going to miss everyone at Cherry Hill and will treasure the memories forever. Thank you for teaching my little boy so much and caring for him for the last 3 years.

My daughter has been attending Cherry Hill since September 2018. Before we visited at all, I was so anxious about what it was going to be like and I wasn't sure I wanted my little girl to go to a nursery, but I can honestly say that one visit to Cherry Hill completely changed my mind. I knew straight
away it was the right thing to do, and I felt so comfortable going there and didn't need time to go away and think about it... my mind (and my partners) were made up there and then.
Fast forward nearly a year and my daughter is doing amazingly well and has a great relationship with all the ladies and her friends and even talks about them at home. I don't worry at all when she is there as I know the care and quality of what she is doing is second to none. At first, I used to phone up to see how she was doing and was always told to phone as much as I wanted as it wasn't a problem. I can't think any better of Cherry Hill as a Nursery than what I do. As far as I'm concerned it's the best.

My son has had the best three years of his life at Cherry Hill. He has been cared for and nurtured so well, he has made so many friends and will always remember his time there.
I have always had complete confidence leaving my child with the girls at Cherry Hill knowing he will be safe and happy. Nothing
is ever too much trouble, they are all so patient and kind and take the time to build relationships and trust with the children.
Thank you for looking after him so well these past few years. What he has learnt with you will carry with him all the way through school and beyond.

There honestly aren’t enough words to really emphasise how fantastic Cherry Hill is! My little girl has been attending since she was 8months old and she absolutely adores going to see the ladies! She knows all the staff by name and has formed lovely relationships with them when going through all of
the rooms. I am extremely anxious about leaving her so this has been such a comfort to me and has made going to work so much less stressful. My daughter has been encouraged to learn every step of the way and the progression she has made has been clear to see, not just by myself but anyone who she comes into contact with. The nursery manager has addressed any concerns I’ve had and has always gone above and beyond to help and reassure me when needed. Communication has been second to none with messages being responded to quickly and a rundown of activities given daily. Cherry Hill has been the most amazing start for my little girl and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery with a personal touch.

Cherry Hill Children's Day Nursery provided childcare for both of my children from approx 6 months to school age and I cannot recommend them enough. All the staff are professional and hard working but most importantly for us were always caring, loving and approachable. My children loved their time there
and they really helped to shape them into the wonderful little ladies they have become. The facilities, staff, food, management, safety and activities are all excellent and I never had even the smallest complaint in all the years my girls attended. Cherry Hill is an exceptional nursery that I've recommended to family and friends. You will not regret the choice to send your child there.

Cherry Hill is a lovely friendly nursery with caring members of staff who take pride in what they do. They are all so pleasant and helpful and will go out of their way to meet your child’s needs.
There is a wide range of toys and learning toys for your child to play with and help them develop their
interaction and social skills.
My daughter has been here almost a year and I would definitely recommend it. She is 18 months and whatever I try to do new with her at home the nursery are more than happy to follow the routine, for example, slowly reduce the amount of time she has her dummy, lessen her sleep time, cut out her milk in daytime and encourage more water, and recently starting to put her on the potty as this is what we do at home.


Great nursery with an amazing atmosphere and would highly recommend it to anybody to see your child grow with confidence and explore different surroundings.

The manager and all the staff are hands-on and very helpful. They always greet you with a smile and have an amazing, caring nature with both parents and children. Each child is cared for individually and their needs are always met. The manager is very adaptable to personal circumstances and always
on hand to chat or help. I would highly recommend the nursery and its staff to anyone. Being a nursery nurse myself, I can see first hand how well the children are cared for. There has never been a day when my son has not wanted to come to nursery and he happily walks in with no concerns.

Our son has been in Cherry Hill for 15 months from 6 months old. He is always happy, well fed (he eats everything) and well cared for. Any issues (however minor) are dealt with by the manager and the staff. He is always busy painting, doing crafts, playing with musical instruments or involved in group
activities. He is even starting to be potty trained. Can't praise the nursery highly enough.

My daughter attended between the age of 11 months - 3 years as I worked in Wrexham (we travelled from the Wirral).


She absolutely loved it, never did she show any reluctance when I left her, always toddled in knowing she was going to have a great day.


Staff were lovely, friendly and I trusted

them all with my baby girl. A really lovely nursery, my daughter and I were both very sad when she left.

We have been very happy with the standard of care our son receives at Cherry Hill Nursery, we can relax safe in the knowledge that he is being looked after by caring and committed staff and enjoying a variety of activities including craft, playtime and even baking. Nothing is ever too much trouble for
the staff and they seem to show a real interest in all the children in their care. Our son loves coming to nursery and we love seeing him develop new skills and friendships.

A superb nursery where my baby settled in well. They have a very homely feeling and treat children like their own. What really impressed me was that outdoor shoes are removed by staff and visitors if going into the baby room. When progressing to the next age group, the development of the child is taken
into account and the transition is made as smooth as possible. Staff on the door greet children (even siblings) by name and make everyone welcome. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery.
