Chingford Forest Day Nursery and Pre-school

Both my daughters have attended this nursery full time since they were 11 months old. My oldest is now at school but my youngest has had the same staff and key workers which has been very special (for everyone!) as the core members of staff have been there for years. The nursery is wonderful for many reasons including facilities - new refurb is lovely - the outside space, food, learning opportunities but mostly it's because of the staff. It's a big thing to hand your child over to someone else and I have felt, for both my children, that the staff here are genuinely invested in and love the children in their care. They celebrate the wins with you and are incredibly supportive during tricky times (like potty training!). I will genuinely be sad when my second daughter graduates as this nursery has been a big part of our lives since 2021.

We love the nursery and my daughter goes every day with a smile on her face! The location (in the forest) and the staff are superb. They are so caring, truly love the children, observant and fun. Love that we can follow her day on the app, it helps reduce anxiety. And the funny and happy pictures the girls take just confirm our choice. Great nursery!

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. My daughter has additional needs which the staff have worked incredibly hard to accommodate. She is absolutely flourishing and developing which is so lovely to see. I was very anxious about sending her, but I can honestly say that the staff truly love all of the children and I feel so reassured when I drop her off. The manager is super helpful and kind, and the baby room staff are incredibly supportive. Also, the ducks and chickens are a hoot! Keep up the great work team.

Absolutely love this nursery, my son went here from 14 months and he is nearly 10, so when I had my daughter I knew I wanted her to have the same experience that he had, even some of the staff were the same which says a lot. We love the outside space and the range of activities, we would 100% recommend the nursery.

My daughter loves this nursery. The staff are so kind and supportive and always find fun, creative, new activities and ideas. They have wonderful outdoor space and she also loves all the planting and looking after the chickens and guinea pigs. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Fantastic nursery with exceptional staff. Very informative, always kept in the loop at drop off/pick up or via the app. I have never had any complaints, my eldest has recently left for preschool but my youngest has been going since April.

Always doing creative, fun activities but also teach kids how to tidy up and be polite.

This nursery has been amazing from the moment I called. My son has extra needs and nothing phased the team at the nursery. He’s developing so well there and they all go above and beyond to help anything he needs. I cannot fault them on any front. They care for all the children like they are their own and I am so grateful to be able to go to work fully confident he’s being looked after so well with no problems. Thanks to the amazing team.

I couldn't be happier with Chingford Forest Day Nursery. From the moment we walked through the door, the warm and nurturing environment made us feel right at home. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly and I have complete peace of mind knowing my child is in excellent hands. I highly recommend this wonderful nursery to anybody that is considering.

So pleased to have found this nursery. Cannot fault the staff in how they have lovingly supported and nurtured my boy through his settling in which had been a bit overwhelming for him. Such amazing patience and reassurance from a member of staff in the baby room, she has made this process a lot easier and always has time to give a detailed debrief on pick-up. Our son has been at this nursery for three weeks now and after much deliberating about which nursery to send him to, I can honestly say we made the right decision in sending him to Chingford Forest Day Nursery and Pre-school. From day one, the staff have been and are friendly and attentive. My son comes home every day happy and smiling after a day at nursery which fills me with confidence that he is receiving the best possible care. The daily updates via the app from the nursery are a big help and aid with direct communication with the nursery.

My daughter has been attending Chingford Forest Day Nursery and Pre-school for four months now and she loves it! The staff are very kind and my daughter has a brilliant bond with her keyworker. The food is nutritious and the outside space is amazing. So pleased we managed to book a space here.

Both of my children go to Chingford Forest Day Nursery and Pre-school and absolutely love it. They have both come on so much and the staff take care of them as if they are their own. I love all of the updates on the new app as well. Would 100% recommend the nursery.

My son has been attending Chingford Forest Day Nursery and Pre-school for the last five months (in babies) and he absolutely loves it now. As soon as we came for the open day we knew we had to send him here. The outside spaces set in the forest are so much nicer than some other nearby nurseries and the staff are all so lovely and have been working there for a long time and so it feels like a big family. I receive good updates from the staff on his day there when I collect him and now get lovely photos and updates throughout the day via their new app.

Wonderful nursery with kind and helpful staff. Our son has thrived within this setting, and we absolutely love that he spends so much time outside. The nursery is surrounded by big gardens and forest, and our little boy is able to come home and tell us all about the exciting things he has learnt with his friends. The staff are communicative and fun and are always happy to go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

My child started nursery here in October 2022 and we have nothing but praise for the staff. I know he is well cared for and I am updated daily about the things I want to know (sleep times/nappies/food!). The staff are all so friendly and caring. We can’t thank them enough for everything they do. I go to work knowing my boy is safe and happy. Top nursery in my eyes!

We are really happy with this nursery. The management are very visible and always available to answer questions, provide updates on the nursery and generally interact with parents. All staff are really enthusiastic about the children and it is clear they enjoy their jobs. As a parent I am always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. My daughter enjoys attending the nursery and often asks to go in on the weekend and days she doesn't attend. The nursery have supported our daughter with life skills, speech development and general good behaviour. We are very happy with this nursery.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for the past 2 years and she absolutely loves it. It has 3 outdoor playgrounds, and in the warmer months, they play all day outside. They do many interesting activities like growing caterpillars and then releasing the butterflies back into nature, they did forest school, kids yoga and they also have their Guinea pigs. They do a lot of improvements in the nursery and invest constantly in it. I would not hesitate for my next child to go there as well.

As time goes on, we see such great improvements in the nursery and I have no doubt that they will continue growing from strength to strength.
