Partou Natures Day Nursery & Pre-school provides outstanding care to children aged three months to five-years-old. Open Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm, 51 weeks of the year.

Located on London Road, Sunninghill, Ascot, the nursery enjoys the benefits of a big character property with large airy rooms, and a huge outdoor garden and play space, which the children explore and thrive in. The nursery operates a Forest School programme where children get to investigate the outdoors in ways that a standard nursery could not offer.

There are separate rooms for babies, toddlers, two to three-years-olds, and pre-School children, furnished with age-appropriate toys and natural resources, ensuring the team provides the best possible standard of care, development and education.

The nursery operates a Key Person policy, ensuring that each child is cared for by a member of staff who will then support and track your child's development. They encourage parent participation by including parents to upload photos and observations on a child's personal online learning journey.

The team places a great emphasis on creating a loving, nurturing and warm environment for every child.

Nature's Nursery really is a wonderful environment for children - the garden and forest school nurture their curiosity and imaginations and encourages to learn about the world around them. The forest school team are great, enthusiastic, keen and have a great way of teaching the complex natural world
to young children. They come home absolutely filthy but as another reviewer said, the dirtier they are the bigger the smile! When the kids are indoors they are allowed to choose activities that interest and excite them, rather than a fixed criterion, which again is wonderful.

The staff in Acorns and pre-school are amazing. They genuinely love and care for the children - both my boys have grown quite attached to a number of the staff. Especially three members of staff, who have become favourites of my kids - when I drop off I can walk away safe in the knowledge that if my little boy cries, falls over or is tired he will be hugged and comforted, but if he is naughty he will equally be corrected.

An extremely warm, welcoming place where it’s obvious that the children attending have great fun.

Friendly, empathic staff, who adapt and cater for each child and family’s needs with no effort spared.

An amazing outdoor space filled with tons of interesting activities and a forest school led

with such enthusiasm and knowledge. Brilliant imaginative activities set up indoors too.

My children have flourished here.

After my son having a bad experience at a previous nursery, Nature's Nursery has completely nurtured him to feel happy and safe. He loves going and has made me feel very confident to leave him. Megan is incredible.

My son loves coming to nursery. He has a few hearing and speech difficulties picked up by the nursery they have done an amazing job of supporting him with speech therapy and including him in every activity. He has come a long way and a big chunk of this is because of the help and support the nursery
have provided to not only him but us as parents as well.
I know that when I drop him off he is cared for by some amazing staff, who all know him by name even if he’s never been in their room, this is a lovely touch.

Our daughter has been at Nature's Nursery for around a year and a half now and she could not be happier. One of the key reasons we chose Nature's Nursery was for the outside space / Forest School and it hasn't disappointed. The children are outside a lot, come rain or shine, which for us, is really
important. Yes, they can come home filthy at times but to be honest, the dirtier our daughter is at the end of the day, the bigger the smile on her face is! In all rooms, the staff have been lovely and happy to keep us informed of everything that's been going on. Our daughter has taken a shine to them all and we know that she is well looked after and cared for. We did have some initial concerns after the recent change of ownership but as time goes by and the improvements are more tangible, this too is something we are more than happy with. Couldn't be happier to recommend Nature's Nursery as our baby girl is growing into a kind, confident and affectionate little lady.

My daughters has been attending this nursery since June this year. It was her first experience in a nursery and after looking around a number in the area I felt that Nature's Nursery and Forest School offered the most wonderful environment for her. The outside space is amazing and they really encourage
the kids to play outside as much as possible in all the different areas.

There is an onsite chef preparing the kids meals each day which is great to know and the staff are so brilliantly helpful and friendly, keeping myself and my husband up-to-date with our daughter's progress, not only monthly, but on a daily basis when we collect her.

I feel super comfortable dropping her off every morning as I know she's in good hands and will have not only a fun but also educational day.

My son has been coming here since he was 11 months old and attends 4 days a week. He is now 2 and a half years old. We selected this nursery because the baby room was huge and the nursery has a MASSIVE garden coupled with a brilliant Forest School. In addition to the excellent facilities, the team are
wonderful and my son loves not just his teachers in Acorns, but the whole team. My son loves coming here - in fact, when we pull up most mornings he exclaims with glee "Nursery!". He often comes home needing a bath - which is a great thing (we don't do messy play at home - cream carpets!) and his art bag is usually filled with all sorts of random things he's made. The nursery is very inclusive and they often host family get-togethers, or example, Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Summer sports days and parent social evenings. My husband and I are so glad we picked Nature's Nursery: My son is well looked after and he clearly loves attending.

My daughter has been at Nature’s Nursery close to 4 years and she has absolutely loved it! She loves the staff, her friends, the activities and Forest School. I am very pleased with her confidence and development and cannot find fault with anything. My son will be joining soon too!

My son started at Natures Nursery at the age of seven months and is finishing to start school. It was the best decision we have ever made as parents to send our son to Natures. The development has been outstanding. Natures Nursery not only focus on the academic development but also their personalities.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.872 for Partou Natures Day Nursery & Pre-school is calculated as follows: ( (199 Excellents x 5) + (27 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 227 Ratings = 4.872
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.808 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Partou Natures Day Nursery & Pre-school is based on 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.975
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 114 number of registered child places is 22.8. 19 Positive Reviews ÷ 22.8 = 0.833
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
