Banana Moon day nursery in Longford offers nursery care for children aged nought to five years. The purpose-built nursery provides a light and airy setting for children to learn and play, and the secure playground offers an exciting area for children to play and exercise in every day throughout the year.

With two age-appropriate rooms – babies under two years and children over the age of two – the nursery provides focused, child-centred planning and attention, with appropriate games and activities to enable children to learn and have fun.

My daughter has had a lovely experience at Banana Moon. Shes developed so much and has hit all of her key milestones when she should have. So happy with her progress.
All the staff have been so friendly and kind I've recommended to friends.

Banana Moon Nursery has been exceptionally good with preparing a child for the future that he or she has in the main school, their ability to communicate effectively with parents and guardians made us feel really safe in leaving our child in their care. Their day to day emails are something I have always

My experience at Banana Moon Longford has been great. My child has developed really well. My child is always happy when they come to the nursery. Staff are friendly, pleasant, and supportive. Managers are always happy to meet the parents' needs. The nursery is spacious, clean, tidy and nice.

5 Stars!
I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery and the team who run it. As a parent of an autistic child, finding the right environment where my son could feel safe, supported, and happy was incredibly important-and this nursery has been everything we hoped for and more.
The settling-in sessions
were fantastic. The staff took their time to really get to know my son, understanding his needs, interests, and pace. There was no rush or pressure-just genuine care and patience, which made all the difference. He was able to build trust gradually, and I felt reassured every step of the way.
Now that he's attending regularly, I've seen so much progress in his confidence and communication. The staff are incredibly attentive, inclusive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It's a joy to see him excited to go in each day.
I'm so grateful for the supportive, nurturing environment they've created. It's made a real difference to our lives, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.
