My little boy has been coming to The Willows for nearly 2 years now. Him starting at nursery had to be brought forward slightly due to work complications and this was a very stressful and upsetting time for myself but the staff were/are absolutely amazing in all situations. I honestly couldn't imagine
leaving my little one at any other nursery.

My son has been coming to The Willows Nursery School for 1 year now and from day 1 the staff have been so attentive and caring. Everyone goes above and beyond providing a personable experience - it's heartwarming to know that they really do care for your child as you would. The growth I have seen in
my son since he has been there has been phenomenal; he's come on leaps and bounds. They are always engaging with me to ensure that his care is consistent e.g. what we are doing for naps at home / potty training etc. without putting on any pressure. I simply cannot thank everyone there enough for "raising my child just perfectly". Facilities are fantastic and kept well. Meals provided are nutritious (and happy to give extra portions when my son asks!). Location is just perfect for us too.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for nearly a year after it was highly recommended by a customer of mine.
The staff are all amazing with her and she loves attending. She’s very shy around people due to being born at the start of Covid and not having the same contact with people as you normally
would but she’s settled lovely and is coming out of her shell.
I’m expecting again and will be bringing him once he’s older and highly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for their own children.

A fantastic and joyful place for kids to develop, grow and play. The attitude of staff is very positive and encouraging for kids. She is eating at the nursery, which means she likes the food. You're doing a great job, my little one loves going to this nursery.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for several years now and she is coming to the end of her time here. The nursery has shaped her into an intelligent and polite little girl with the skills she will need to start school in September. The staff are all brilliant at all levels and rooms and there

My eldest child attended this nursery from age one until going to school and now my youngest attends there too. The staff are friendly and helpful, each room is lovely and they always have lots of activities for the children to take part in each day. My eldest child loved his time there and my youngest

Lovely staff, very caring and great facilities. My firstborn started in the baby room and was here until he started school, now my little one is in the reception room.
Would highly recommend to any parent. Town centre location is a bonus too.

We started out with The Willows Nursery when they were on the causeway, my eldest is now 11 years old. We moved with them and now my youngest attends. It's amazing to see the staff still there after all these years. So, as well as the nursery of choice, it's certainly the employer of choice too. For
me, the reason why I chose this nursery was that no appointment was needed at the time so it was a true reflection that at any time of any day you could see all the kids enjoying themselves and the nursery nurses engaging and teaching them new things. They made it easier for me to go back to work, knowing my boys were safe. Thank you.

Lovely nursery and staff in all rooms. Always happy to help and welcome with friendly faces. Always have a lot of activities across the board for all to take part in. My son is always more than well fed with a selection of food offered for lunches and teas, trying new things. Just an all-round good

Fantastic nursery! Both of my children attended this nursery starting in the baby's room and finishing in preschool. I honestly can’t praise The Willows enough, the staff, management, the setting, activities, cleanliness, food, and attitude, all 10/10. My children looked forward to nursery every day
and had many stories that brought a smile to my face. They’ve learnt a lot whilst having fun which will stand them in good stead for the future. Thank You!

As any mummy, I was apprehensive about the choice of nursery for my daughter. I thought about the distance to work and home, cost and facilities. Having visited the building and looked at the room where my little girl would spend her time, my mind was put at rest. All staff were incredibly welcoming
and I just knew my daughter would love it here. I was right! My girl has moved up from Early Learners to Reception and is flourishing as the weeks and months go by. The skills she is learning and developing through her time at the nursery are clear to see and I'm most grateful for the support the staff have provided in helping her to come out of her shell. They have fully supported with potty and toilet training too, which was proving difficult at home. In a nutshell, I would recommend The Willows Nursey to all parents, without hesitation!

This nursery is amazing! From the first time we went in to look around, I had no doubt this is where I wanted my son to go. The staff are all amazing and really put your mind at rest when dropping your child off for the day. They are always brilliant when you collect your child as well, and you are
informed of every detail of their day. My son has settled in really well and has made great relationships with the girls. The facilities are brilliant as well, and there are so many toys and displays for the children to enjoy. Everything is of a very high standard! I would not take my son to any other nursery!!

Willows Nursery School is just amazing! The staff are all so friendly and so helpful towards the parents and treat all the children amazing! So encouraging and loving towards them. The nursey always have so much on every month. With a monthly update for the parents to keep ahead of any events! The children
learn so much, with all their up to day educational toys and equipment. They also have an amazing garden with lots to do! The nursery is always clean and tidy, and the children's menu always sounds so delicious and healthy. So much choice too! They have helped my son learn! He has gone from saying a few words to a full-on conversation, sing songs, counting and so much more! They even help us conker potty training! Thank you to all the staff for all you do! You guys are honestly amazing.

My two children attend this nursery. Eldest is now 3 years 9 months in preschool and has been there since 8 month's old, my youngest is in toddler room. The support from the staff is fantastic, all lovely and approachable. Great environment and great chef who is very friendly with the children and parents.
Couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Both my children (4 and 2) attend the nursery and love it. The staff are incredible - always really warm and friendly with the kids and both my have loved all the staff in the various rooms who've cared for them. They've both had times when they've been unsettled, first starting or moving rooms etc,
but the staff were always very understanding and always did their upmost to make my children feel as comfortable and happy as possible. They always seem to be doing something new and different - baking, yoga, dancing, learning letters, painting, learning about recycling, making fruit kebabs etc - and it's nice to receive regular updates and photos on their development. The outdoor area is excellent - loads of equipment and space to run around in. I moved my daughter here from a previous nursery and couldn't have been happier with this decision. Would not hesitate to recommend it to other parents.

Lucie Swift

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2010

I have been part of the Evolution Childcare family for over 15 years, gaining extensive experience across all age groups and rooms. This breadth of hands-on practice has given me a deep understanding of child development, high-quality care, and the day-to-day realities of nursery life.


After several years of dedicated work, I was offered the role of Baby Room Manager and Assistant Deputy Manager — positions I held for around five years. During this time, I strengthened my leadership skills, supported staff development, and worked closely with families to build strong, trusting partnerships. These experiences shaped my approach to nurturing both children and teams, and prepared me for the next step in my journey.


In 2019, I was proud to be promoted to Nursery Manager, a role that has allowed me to bring together my passion for early years, my commitment to high standards, and my belief in creating a warm, supportive environment for children, families, and staff.


Alongside my practical experience, I have completed my Foundation Degree in Early Years and undertaken a wide range of professional training throughout my time at Evolution Childcare. Continuous learning is important to me, and I am committed to ensuring our practice remains reflective, current, and centred around the needs of every child.
