The experienced staff plan each day with help from the children. There are lots of activities to try. From obstacle courses to cooking, gardening to modelling clay, painting, and dialogic reading – no day is the same! Families can join in too, with special days dedicated to cultures from around the world.
A dedicated on-site chef prepares all meals using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.
Half-day sessions are available for children over 3 years old.

All fees listed include the cost of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
One-off extra days cost £103.20 for children under 3 years old and £100.00 for children over 3 years old.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee: A fee of £100 is payable upon acceptance of an offer. In addition, a deposit equal to 50% of the monthly fee is payable upon acceptance of an offer.
Late Collection Charge: £30 per 15 minutes, or part thereof.
Late Payment Charge: £30 for late payment of monthly fees and/or interest at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate on any fees that remain unpaid on the 2nd day of the month.
Overpayment Return Administration Fee: £30 per overpayment.
Mid-Week Surcharge: A 6% surcharge applies to mid-week bookings (bookings that do not include a Monday or a Friday).

This being my first child, I had reservations in regards to him attending nursery. However from the day that we came for a look around our minds were put to rest, so much so we didn't look at any others. My son has attended here since he turned 1. He is now 2, he has been able to continue to thrive developmentally in every aspect. My son enjoys his time at London Early Years Foundation, South Bermondsey so much so that we increased the amount of days he attends.
Although there have been many staff changes, the high level of care my son receives has been consistent throughout.

My daughter loves this nursery, she has learnt so much and her communication skills are brilliant! She’s always happy when I pick her up and has lots of friends, she always talks highly about her teachers.

Very pleased with childcare and staff and current management after the opening 6 months until June 2017 which took time to settle down. Children all seem happy and staff are great. Overall very pleased with the nursery, I really like the staff and most importantly my daughter is happy and enjoys going.

I love the personal touch towards the children as well as the daily written report on activities, food, sleep etc. It’s great as well that the toys are activity related and stimulating, encouraging imagination without being plastics and noisy. I love the way they have ‘outdoor time’ regardless of the weather! It’s character building!
Finally, the food choices encourage healthy eating and adventurousness in children selecting their own dinner.

South Bermondsey Community Nursery has taught my daughter so much from interacting with other children to learning to count, so she has come a long way since going to the nursery. I love picking her up and getting to see all her paintings and what she has been doing all day.

I feel very comfortable to leave my child at this nursery because he is in safe hands with the employees. He learns new things and also improving his speech and many things that have surprised me. Playing with different children learning to share and ask for things that he wants. If anything happens, the nursery informs the parents and write up accident report to a record if an accident happens in the nursery. I'm also pleased that they hold events for the little children and parents to come to the events. What they have learnt and shared with other parents in the nursery.
